View 2 RepliesI use Photoshop CS3 and have multi layer PSD with which I am creating web graphics. The PSD is set up to export layer comps to files to produce a standardised set of graphics. The website has a standardised palette of 4 colours.
The vector and raster graphics within the PSD use these standard colours, however when we apply the colour scheme of a new client to the document, I have to go through the document and manually change all the colours.
I would like to find a way to globally and directly substitute one colour for another by effectively substituting one hex code for another, thus avoiding editing the layers one by one.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAll of my B&W photos have a sepia tone to them when I open them in Bridge or Photoshop. Opening them in Autodesk Sketechbook Pro no such issue. When a folder containing B&W photos is loading in Bridge the thumbnails are initially grayscale but develop the sepia cast after it has completely opened. In Photoshop I can go to view - proof setup - monitor rgb and get rid of the sepia cast My color setting are appear to correct.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to use my CS 5 with my B&W image to add color to image to make a good brownish sepia,to print. I want to do this when I bring up my color tools they go grey. So just to check, I bring in a Color image no problem, color tools are active. What is changing, how do I get my sepia added to my B&W image. The B&W negs were done at a lab, made digital, and sent to me on a CD, is it possible that is the problem?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have new laptop with Photoshop cs4. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M 2G hard drive in the lap top. The colors look great in everything but Photoshop. Everything in Photoshop has a yellowish almost sepia toned tint. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong for several day... (and several hours for several days). I understand that Photoshop color corrects, but if I have de-saturated an image why does it still look sepia in Photoshop and B&W everywhere else?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a new monitor, and when I opened up elements 12 it asked me if i wanted to correct my colour profile. I said yes, and now all whites on that monitor are displayed as a sepia like yellow colour. When I move photoshop to my other monitor, the image displays fine. Its not an issue with the monitor, as b&w images in other applications display well.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm messing around with a project for fun and I'm wondering if any of you guys know a great way to make a realistic bar code/UPC image with the thick and thin, black, vertical lines aligned up horizontally? I tried this approach into creating one, but it just wasn't working for me. Here's the method I tried to use (in case some of you have a similar method).
1) Layer 1, start with a white background (hope I didn't lose anyone with this step ;P).
2) I added a Noise filter with the settings of Monochromatic and Gaussian Blur at 400% on Layer 1.
3) Then, I applied the Motion Blur filter 90 Degrees and had the distance set to 999 pixels.
4) Then, I tried to do some adjusting with Curves to brighten it up because before this point, it was just a black and gray image.
And this is where I came close, but no go. I haven't been able to turn the gray into a solid white and I tried using the Magic Wand tool to just select the gray areas and fill them in with white, but that didn't help cause it was blurry and it wasn't all one shade of gray. Any help or if you know another method is doing this will be helpful. Yah, I could just use the line tool and just create thick and thin vertical lines all the way across, but just wondering if anyone else had a better method.
How could i get the rgb-code of every pixel from a certain picture-file. I'm putting them into a database. like this:
e.g. ( pixel 1/row 1 = #000000 ),(etc.) every pixel of the file !!
So far I only could rip the picture into pixel-files. I converted a picture-file into thousands of little 8Kb tiff's (with AppleScript).
I'm looking for an automated way to get the rgb-codes. Can't be that hard.
I want to put a particular hex code in an object. When I paste the hex code in the color picker of my object it changes to the color I want. After I choose another object and then go back to the particular object with my hex code its a different hex code but the colors look similar.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using CS6 and the Replace Colour Tool no longer allows me to replace multiple colours when I select the + . So when I have the panel open and I highlight the +, I used to then be able to click on several spots in my image and all of the colours that are in those spots are added to the selected colours that will be changed by using the sliders.
But now, when I use the + it has exactly the same effect as not using it - I can only choose one colour or an other, I can't add.....I want to reset this to the original way that this works.
Currently I have to open the panel, change one variation of a colour, save it, then re-open the panel and do it again (and again and again) until all the colour variations I am trying to remove are are changed. I know I also have the 'fuzziness' slider, but it does not give enough control.
I am designing a T Shirt for my ski club.I have taken an image from a banner (made in illustrator, full colour image attached) and I want to devide into a 3 colour image for the t shirt (I am only allowed 3 colours for printing). The colours I want to use are black, white and purple. The colour of the t shirt is a light blue.I want to then put the purple logo on top of the white and black too.So I'm after a black and white grunge background with a punchy purple logo on the top.All of this should be on a tranparent or, for design purposes, light bue (same as T Shirt colour) background.
how to split a full colour image into using only 3 (4 including transparent/light blue background) exact colours.
If I were going to black and white I might convert to grey scale and then paint areas to fully white or fully black using an overlay brush I don't think this works for me for more than just black and white though.
I have attached two of my attempts where I used the colour range selection and level adjustments. Niether was really successful though (one does not use the right colours or number of colours but looks quite cool).
A process to turn a color photo into a sepia tone? Just dropping a dark color on the photo doesn't seem to work very well because it just masks the detail.
I've attached the photo, I am working with.
I've managed to convert my drawing to grayscale, but I was hoping there was a way to change the base color. For example, instead of Gray or Black being the base color for the grayscale, I was hoping I could have shades of Blue instead. It would be very similar to Sepia, except in Blue (or any other color). If this is possible and how I could accomplish this?
