Oct 30, 2012How do I convert the colour profile of a Lightroom custom printing package from Adobe Prophoto to sRGB before printing? For that matter, how do I save the thing? I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. And without saving them as one finished item, I have no way to convert the colour profile of that item. I can see clearly from the appearance of the print preview that the above mentioned colour profile conversion is required.

Mar 9, 2013When I'm looking at photos in my Library, I'd like to be able to sort them in terms of size.
A photo of 50 k is only of marginal interest for limited upload only. A photo of 15 mg is of great interest. The size tells me that it's at least moderately hi res and that there are probably a lot of pixels involved, and a good print can be made for publication or whatever. But I can't see a way to sort by image size. Is there a way? I'd like to separate a photo with a size of 720 X 480 from a photo with a size of 100 X 75.

Nov 20, 2013When trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.

Jun 11, 2013Stair tread number tool is wonderful. BUT it is being not printed properly.
Example image attached:
- 'on screen' on the left is taken from my screen. The numbers are shown correctly.
- 'after print' in the middle is a black&white pdf print by adobe pdf. you can see there is the last number missing.
- 'after print-random number missing' on the right is a coloured pdf print also by adobe pdf. several numbers are missing and it happened randomly.

Sep 23, 2013I am checking the size of a photo as it needs to be as near as dammit to 10MB. this is it in Photoshop So it's 9.92MB. But this is what is shown when I select the folder it's in and to go list view (its the picture at the very top of list) / 1.9MB! Which is correct?

Nov 28, 2012I've converted a 2D image into a smart object, dragged into a project then transformed it using the Distort command (similar to how you might distort a 2d image to make it sit inside a photo frame at an angle) . I need to then warp that image around over something that looks like a curved panel thats 2D but looks 3d. Its not a 3d object, but a rendered 2d image that just looks 3d.
I'm using the Transform > Warp tool as Puppet Warp isnt available after using Distort when using Smart objects.
Warp works fine to some extent but I could really do with more handles and smaler grid for more accurate warping rather than the default 3x3 grid & handles..
Possible to add more handles/ nodes/ control points (or whatever they'e called) and/ or increase grid points in the same way Puppet Warp does this so as I drag around I control a tigher & smaller space?

May 22, 2009I created a document in photoshop cs3 and cs4 @ 7wX11h inches @ 300 dpi. When I go to print it the image it prints about 3/16ths too wide.
I'm printing from a home printer just to show the client the product. Then i want to send to a printer for production. I need to get the sizing right!

Photoshop :: Printing 5x7 Photo
May 15, 2013I have photos taken with my D80 which I would like to print at 5x7.
I am using adobe photoshop CS6 and I am fairly new to it.
What I am doing is, I select Croping tool and insert 5 and 7 at top and crop the image. But, the problem is after doing cropping this way when I check Image size menu I get the size as 12.093 and 8.64
So, whats wrong am I doing?

Apr 29, 2006I am loading images from a digital SLR Camera, into photoshop. They are massive images, high resolution, but when I load them in, they are opened at 72ppi. I have been shrinking the dimensions down for printing and would usually increase the resolution (for printing). No matter what I do though, I cannot recreate the clarity that I get when I use my cheap Epson photo software that goes with my printer. I need to edit my pics

Aug 5, 2013'm using a Mac with the latest version of the Creative Cloud. I've been stuck with the sillest problem ever with the Character Tool.It started with the size tool. If I set it to 200px and press enter, it will suddently jump to 11443.91 px. It does the same thing if I use the slider (clicking the tT and sliding up and down), it will show me the right number, but the second I let it go, it jumps to a complete random number. If I put it at 300 px, it goes to 11443.91px ... again.Now, all the other character tools are doing the exact same thing. The line-height, the tracking, everything.
Here's all my system info if you need it:

Photoshop :: CS5 Not Printing Actual Size?
Sep 3, 2012I have created a document in photoshop sized 8.5x11, the same size as my printer paper, at 300dpi. I am using the ruler guidelines onscreen to make an image 6 3/4" wide, but it is printing out too small at 6".
I am not measuring onscreen by putting an actual ruler up against my screen, I am using the photoshop ruler (so I am sizing according to the 6 3/4" ruler in photoshop, even if it is 8" on my screen)
In the print settings, I uncheck "scale to fit media" and "center image".

Jun 6, 2013I have CS5. The photos coming out of the camera are 300 dpi and approx 12.8" x 19.2". When I crop the photo to 300 dpi and 8x10 and send it to print, the printer says the photo is too small. It comes across as 72 dip and 8.333" x 6.667". I was expecting photos to come out of the camera with 72 dpi and a huge length x width. I can then crop and print without issue. Is there a photoshop setting that needs to be set? Is there a different work flow I need to use? I shoot with a 5D Mark III.

Apr 9, 2013I am trying to convert a psd file that is a 36"X80" banner to a pdf file. In the past, I have printed to PDF and all has been fine. Today the Print to PDF fails... it doesn't give me an error it just pretends like it prints to pdf with the status box popping up for a second, then nothing. So I attempted to Save As a PDF instead this worked, but resulted in pdf with a file size of 453M! This is much larger than the pdf's I was getting before, in the 3-ish M file size..

Feb 2, 2013Running Mac os x 10.8.2 and Photoshop CS6. I have an Epson R2880 and so far only used Epson paper. I was able to find all the paper settings but i decided to buy a new German paper.
I downloaded the ICC profile, copied it to /Library/ColorSync/Profiles (and actually any other path that i could find in there). When i open the print dialog i cannot set that paper in either Photoshop or the Epson dialog.
I then removed ALL the ICC files from that path and... surprise. All the profiles are still shown in Photoshop.
