View 3 RepliesI have some text blocks in Illustrator CS 6 that display the red plus sign that indicates overset text but there is no overset text. It occurs in files that were created with earlier versions of Illustator and now we are reworking them. It can't be deleted. I have cut the text in the box and pasted it into a new text box to no avail. It is not a screen artifact. I have tried copying everything in the file and pasting it into a new file and the little red plus sign comes along. It doesn't print, of course.

I have these texts "I am not good", "he is not good", "what not to be" And i would like to remove the word "not" from all selected text so i would get "i am good", "he is good" , "what to be". The set word not will always be the same, so there is no need for user string input.
Can anyone show me how to remove EVERYTHING in a picture except for 1 layer which happens to be rasterized text. I want the picture to have no backround whatsoever, only this layer showing. I have no clue how to remove the backround area since deleting the backround layer doesn't do anything.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI used the Flaming text effect, and I was wondering if there was a way to have just the text (with flames) and no background. I am trying to use this text to put on a video clip with effects, and would like to have the text on clip, but if I use the background You will not be able to see video effect I want behind the text. I tried the wand, and unless I missed a step or something different, it didn't work. I am a noob, but trying to learn.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am new here and a bit new to photoshop. I have this photo and I would like to remove the word peace from it. I can't crop it because that would screw up the image. I also can't use the eyedropper and pick up color around it and paint over the text. The color around the text isn't solid. I would post the photo or a link to it but since I'm new I guess I can't. Can you please tell me how I can remove the text?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to remove the text saying "A Innland", but the background isn't quite the same at all points - the further right you go, the lighter it becomes. How would I go on about removing this? The text is ingrained in the picture, it's originally not a Photoshop file with a text layer on top. I am using Photoshop CS6.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a site and the owner wants a new nav bar button. I opened one of the existing buttons in PS, it has a slight gradient background and the text is typed right on the background so I can't find a way to edit it (it's not on a separate layer), and so if I just erase the text it messes up the background.
How can one do this?
lets say i have a picture. I want to add text to it so it fits right into the background rather than having an artificial white border around the text. How do i do that?
Also, how do i remove text without deleting parts of the background as well, and how do i enter text so that it matches the text that is used in the picture?
Lets say i have a picture with the word "TEST" in it, with a certain font, size, color, etc. I want to add additional text with the exact same font, size, etc.

View 7 Replies View Relatedeffective method of removing text/font from an image. I've tried playing around with clone stamp and spot healing brush, but it never quite turns out right.
Edit: (I tried to include the image here, but it appears it's against forum rules. Oh well. I think having the image would be a good reference, so if there's a way that can be worked out...)
I have a picture of a girl in a dress. The background is white(ish) and some of the girl's dress is white as well as her blouse.
If I select the magic eraser tool the background is viped out, but parts of the skirt and shirt get wiped out as well... I've read somewhere how to solve this problem, selecting only certain "ranges" of a colour, so that not all the different whites' get erased...
Have also created some text and have added a drop shadow.. is there any way to get the drop shadow to be another colour than grey (i.e. green, pink, blue)..?
I accidently saved an image with my watermark & now the image is locked & also saved as a jpeg image. I can't remove the text without stamping it out or just starting over. How to remove text from an image that has already been saved?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using one of the premade text effect that fades-in two lines of text. I want this fadein to (1) last 3 seconds but the title, once fully into view, to (2) remain on the screen for 10 seconds. I just can't figure out this second part.
I can duplicate the original title so the two lines are positioned correctly after the effect ends but then the effect starts over again. I can't get the two lines in the exact same places by recreating them. And if I take a screen shot of the final frame, again, I can't get it positioned so the lines of text are in the exact correct place.
I have been asked to remove text from an image but the owner does not have the original layered image but only the jpg. I wondered whether it is possible to remove the text from the image, or any recommendations on what to do?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a form with a watermark image in Publisher 2013 and the text I want to overlay on the watermark is cut from an image I screenshot, so it has a white background, making overlaying a watermark impossible. There are boxes and bubbles and other items that I really do not want to re-create so that's why I am trying to do this first, before re-creating the entire forms from scratch.
Anyway, what I want to do is A. remove all of the white from the background (even in the spaces between the e's an B's and everything; yes I know it is insane, but I like things to be perfect) and B. I would like to darken the text. Currently is is almost gray-ish and I want it to be black.
I created some text, and then immediately clicked text along path. it created some weird little pink pixely shape. if i keep clicking it it makes more. And i can't get rid of it.
It's above every layer, and it's not actually on a layer. If i hide, or even remove, every single layer it is still there. How can i delete these weird shapes that i erroneously made with the text along path tool?
