Photoshop :: Blend A Line Drawing To Make It Look Sketched On Paper?
Apr 13, 2013I can usually don't have a problem blending images and making them look like part of the paper, but I'm stuck on this one. I have a drawing that I want to make look like it was sketched on the "paper" I made in photoshop. I have an image something like this....

My image has a colored background and heavy black lines. I got the background out OK, but now the black part is too heavy and it doesn't look natural, but if I lower the opacity, then it looks too faded. What do I do??? The paper I made is equivlant to a brown paper bag.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Make Drawing Of Piping With BOM
Oct 4, 2012I was giving an assembly with a lot of piping in it, but the piping wasn't done using the Tube & Pipe. I need to make a drawing of the piping with a BOM. I made an ISO view and turn off the visibility of the parts I didn't need.
My question is if there is way for the BOM to only show the visible parts in my drawings. I know in iAssemblies I can exclude the parts I don't need, but that would take awhile considering there are over a hundred parts in my assembly. I really don't want to redo the piping mainly because of my inexperience with Tube & Pipe.

Apr 25, 2012I would like to make a drawing for the cover of the control box for my new CNC. The cover will be 4”x 16” x 1/8” thick Aluminum and will have holes for 8 switches, with letters for the function of each switch, plus 4 mounting holes 1/8” diameter in the corners.
My problem is how to establish the center lines for the switches and the mounting holes. So I draw a rectangle 4”x 16” and then if I want my switches to be 1” above the bottom edge of the cover how do I establish a center line to have all switches lined up?
The same for the mounting holes in the 4 corners. How do I establish the center lines if I want to have each hole 1/2" away from each corner?
How to write the letters for each switch? I was thinking to draw a rectangle above each switch and center the description inside each rectangle. Is this the best way?

Then, when I switched over to paper space all of those lines were solid. I messed around with the option LTSCALE and set it to 0.01. This made the lines show up correctly in paper space, but now they are all messed up in model space. Is there an option to make it so they show up exactly the same in both model and paper space?
