I have new laptop, windows 7 64bit; CS4 photoshop causes it to go to blue screen and crash when printing. After awhile I can't print from any program. when I remove adobe, everything works fine. What to do?!?

Suddenly Lightroom 5 crashed as it exceutes the print script. Have re-installed LR5 sereral times. I appear to be able to carry out all LR functions APART from printing. Is this an LR problem or in incompatability with OS 10.8 or somefrom of iMac issue - Swap etc.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWe are running Autocad 2012 on Windows 7 and printing to an HP5200 via server mapping in three different labs.
Had a similar problem before and changed the printer drivers from Universal back to PCL5. Â Since Christmas however this problem seems to have come back. Â We haven't changed anything. Â Wondering if maybe there were patches or something that affected this?? Â When we preview or send a print job Autocad just greys out and crashes. Â I do know that if we configure the computer to print via TCPIP it also works fine but this is not ideal with the number of computers and students we have.
Another thing we seemed to have noticed is that we don't have this problem with all printers but more oddly we noticed that when we change the default template some templates work and some don't.
By default we are set up to use the acadiso template as we are using the metric system - we can't get anything to plot using this. Â If we start with the standard acad template we do not have this problem. Â We have tried plotting a simple circle or a more complex drawing with the same result. Â The sample files plot fine but I'm guessing they were likely not done in metric...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an HP workstation Z220 with OS Windows 7 64 bit. I have installed my printer HP Laserjet Pro CM1415nf using the original CD Drivers and have also installed AutoCAD Architecture 2011 and 2013.Â
When trying to print from both AutoCAD versions to the printer, the application crashes and I need to close the program. When I try to print to a different printer everything is ok. I have checked for updated drivers of the printer and downloaded from HP site by the problem is still there.
1. Does Autodesk not have their own support through e-mail or telephone?
2. Below is the crash log. Why the program is crashing when printing on a 11x17 paper size?

I have a big problem with CorelDraw X4. When there is multiple pages in one document, and I go to print, it do preflight. If I change print range, or enter printer properties during preflight, program crashes without any warning, and I lose all opened documents.

It's not the CD, because it installs fine in other machines. I cannot run the install from either my desktop locally or from a CD drive of a working machine.

(Note: New laptop is an ASUS G71G-Q2) Once CS3 is installed I will then run the upgrade disk for CS4. What I'm trying to figure out is this: BEFORE I install the CS4 upgrade, do I need to install all the updates/fixes to CS3 to insure "trouble free" operation of CS4? or does installing the CS3 updates play no role in CS4 as they are like two different app's? I would assume that whatever responce I get here about CS3 and CS4 would also apply to Lightroom 1.4 and Lightroom 2.3 regarding updates.Â

I'm running Vista Home Edition with 3G RAM and I just updated the graphic card drivers.
Photoshop's GPU options are greyed out, and I can't use the rotate tool. Does this chipset simply not have the capacity to support whatever the program wants, or am I just not configuring something right?
