Photoshop :: ATI Radeon HD 4670 In IMac Is Not Working With 3D In CS6?
Mar 24, 2013I have a iMac with a ATI Radeon HD 4670 GPU. In CS6 the 3D mode is grayed out and disable due to driver for GPU needing to be updated. When directed to manufacturer website for driver update, all drivers are for Windows, not Mac.

May 28, 2012 For some reason to time I need Illustrator to be perfect and it fails on me ON EXAM WEEK.
I used it yesterday perfect for a good 3-4 hour session. I get on today and I notice that clicking on my groups and paths freezes it for around 5 seconds then works again. Isolation mode also takes a while to go in and then come out and when I minimize it it takes longer to open back up again (10 seconds).
That is also not the only problem
I'm trying to copy the appearance from one group to another by dragging the swatch in the appearance panel. When I apply it to an object that object turns invisble but I can still see the path it just has no fill or stroke

Nov 5, 2013I upgraded my Corel Draw to X6 version about 3 months ago. It worked perfect until a few days ago, since in started to freeze when doing simple operations as copying a vector image or a text or exporting a document (for example a vector image to .png or .pdf)
The funny part is that we have two computers in our office with Corel installed, and both of them have the same problem. We checked with our IT department, did all the upgrades to Corel and Windows, did a repair to Corel, and still, same problem.
Premiere Pro :: Timeline Lagging / Freezing When Working With Multiple Video / Audio Tracks 7.1
Nov 28, 2013I am new to working with bigger projects in Premiere, I moved from FCP last year. I am currently editing a show which is based of Line recorded cameras.
I have 6 Tracks of video, plus mulitple audio tracks and 2 hrs long
My problem. Having made and lifted my selects in the timeline I now am finding the timeline to be very unresponsive to the point of pinwheeling even just to open the sequence. I can't zoom, move or edit anything in this timeline without a pinwheel and a 30 second delay. None of my other sequences are having this issue. All are the same codec.
Is there a way to set up larger sequences so that this does not happen? I find premiere 7.1 is fine until I build bigger sequences/projects. My inital thought was drive speed, however the issues only arose when I had lifted all the selects.
Could it be that I have too many tracks of video for premiere to handle? I have no problem playing the timeline (although it will initally pinwheel) its mainly navigation/clip selction along the timeline which causes an issue
I tried multicam also but that had too many issues
I work on a 2012 Mac Pro 2.4 Ghz 12-cores with 12 GB ram 9 of which is allocated to premiere. I also have my working caches on a dedicated single 3.5" 7200 rpm drive 1gb graphics card.

Mar 31, 2008I'm running the Adobe Photoshop CS3 trial on a HP Pavillion tx2000z (2 gig ram) in Vista. I'm on day 14 and suddenly it doesn't work anymore.
When I open it, it lets me open a photo or create a new canvas. Then, I can do one thing-like create a type layer/mask, a fill layer, etc etc. After that, all the options in all the menus become unclickable, except 'open recent,' but I can't select an option within that menu, so a lot of good that is. It won't even let me save unless I exit the program, in which case it brings up the "are you sure you don't want to save before you quit" dialogue box.
I originally thought that it was part of the trial that I would lose these features.
I realize that if it was part of the trial, I would be able to click "Activate" or "Register."

Running Photoshop CS3 on Windows XP Pro SP2
It is a very fast machine, but when I'm using Photoshop CS3, it freezes, like a slow CPU...
It runs fast for heavy operations, like applying filters, but freezes with very simple operations, like creating a new blank layer... when I press CTRL+L for levels, it takes a long time to appear the levels window...
Also, the mouse pointer 'jumps', freezes...
I tried to change the "scratch disk" options... and it still freezes...
Photoshop :: Cs6 / IMac Won't Shutdown
May 18, 2012I have the new cs6 master collection and all programs work well and don't cause problems when I shut down my iMac except Photoshop. If I use photoshop, anytime I try to shut down my computer all I get is a spinning wheel and computer will never shut down. This happened on cs5 as well and thought newer version would fix problem but it has not.

- They don't hang when I use the type tool
- I've fideled around with the scratch disk thinking maybe it was the issue, and the first time it got better but then 2 days later it got drastically worse.

- I've sent crash reports
I just walked in to work, switched it on and I can't even get to General Preferences on PS6.
