I have bought the full version of CS5 for my Mac Book Pro online at the Adobe shop. Yesterday I received a new iMac 27 and I wanted to install CS5 from the Adobe download using my license key. But I can't find the link to CS5 only CS6. How do I proceed to install CS5 on my iMac?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iMac hard drive recently failed and I lost everything. I just bought one of the new iMacs with no disc drive. I had purchased Photoshop CS5 in 2011 but it came with CD's for install. I stil have them but it doesn't do me any good since there is no disc drive to put them in on the new computer.
How can I install Photoshop using my serial number from my original purchase? I downloaded the CS6 trial version and when I try to activate it with my old serial number it says it is invalid.
CC Applications PS, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro will not launch in newly installed Mountain Lion OS on Imac Platform. Attempts to launch and run CC applications results in Configuration Error: 213:5. Further, On board PS and Lightroom applications fail to Launch. CS5.1 install CD (DVD) ejects and will not install. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have CS2 Premium which I'm running on an older PowerPC Mac (G5 - Dual 2.3 GHz ) running OS 10.4.11. I've had this setup for many many years (registered/activated with Adobe) but suddenly one day I could no longer launch my Photoshop app: when I clicked on the Pshop icon it would start the launch (open) procedure ... and then almost instantly it would quit (in just a few seconds ... before the application even got to the 'title/credit' screen).
I've recently tried uninstalling CS2 (everything except Acrobat) and I ended up doing a manual uninstall of Version Cue. I've been on Macs for 20+ years so figured this would be a pretty straightforward procedure - uninstall -> reinstall and then back to work. Nope.
I'm attempting a fresh installation direct from the original CS2 CDs. In any event, when I try to (re)install CS2 - and after going through the standard screens with Adobe's usage terms agreement and installation hard disk selection - I arrive at the screen where one selects which application(s) to install by checking the various boxes (or alternately, to install the entire suite) but the 'Adobe Photoshop CS2/Adobe ImageReady CS2' line and checkbox are grayed out, so it will not allow me to check them and continue with the Photoshop installation process.
How do I re-install AI CC after it's been uninstalled because the initial install was corrupt? AI isn't availbale for download again in the app section of CC.

I have the new cs6 master collection and all programs work well and don't cause problems when I shut down my iMac except Photoshop. If I use photoshop, anytime I try to shut down my computer all I get is a spinning wheel and computer will never shut down. This happened on cs5 as well and thought newer version would fix problem but it has not.

The computer runs fine with all other applications but will quickly run up several gigs of page outs when handling camera raw and photoshop files, it starts to creep along after a short while. Apple ran "stress tests" on the computer and everything is perfectly functional. I used to have no issues with cs5 and the computer should be able to handle the task easily. I have tried to reinstall photoshop.

My Dell computer running WIN7 just died and we have replaced it with an iMac running Parallels/WIN7. I have tried to install my CS4 on the new machine and have the following problem. Disk 1 loads fine and goes to the end and asks for Disk 2. I insert Disk 2 and it won't continue the install. I have opened the disk and all files are in good shape.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust got one of the brand-new 27 inch iMacs a few days ago, one with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX (2GB GDDR5) video card.
I'm using Photoshop CS6.
Every time I enable Photoshop to take advantage of the video card for additional memory - Preferences > Performance > Graphics Processor Settings - I run into constant problems.
I'm talking about the "colored spinning wheel" icon appearing just about every 30 seconds and holding me up for about just about the same period of time.
Turning off the use of the video card solves the problem every time. No "colored spinning wheel" icon appearing - ever.
I got the larger video card hoping to take advantage of as much available memory as possible; unfortunately, it looks like there seems to be a problem with the interaction between Photoshop CS6 and the video card's driver.
I've got all the latest updates for both the Mac OS and Photoshop.
