View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a project in which I am designing a website in Photoshop at 72 dpi. Everytime I bring in a photo be it an AI file, or jpeg or even tif that is much, larger than the 72 dpi .psd file I am working in, the image becomes blurry as I scale it down. Why is this and what then should I be doing to get my images crisp for a final file that will be used to slice out web assets during the build.

Does this delay have something to do with the quantity of pictures or memory configuration, or what?

How most photographers are getting their pics to have a blurry/hazy look to their background. I see it in alot of the professional pics lately but I dont know if it is something they are doing in PS or if it is a lens that they are using to create the look.

I am using a script to export multiple layers of 16x16 pixel icon files into separate PNG files. It works very well with one big exception. All layers that contain text becomes very blurry.I have tried converting the text into outline paths before exporting, but it does not work. The text becomes blurry and thick.
When performing a regular Non Script export to a PNG file you are allowed to chose antialiasing method between "type" and "art". When using the "type" alternative everything looks good, but when the "art" alternative is selected the text look very blurry and bad. When using script multiexporters it seems they all use the art version. But I have tried a bunch of other scripts as well but with the same blurry result for the text. How to get the option to chose the type optimized initializing for the script exports?
Just made this wallpaper, original size was 1440*900 Every avatar inside that pic are individual image file and I input them by Add layer > Import from a file, one by one = =''

I am pretty new to Photoshop and I have come across a few things that I would love to do but I cant figure out how to do them. Also, I have elements so I'm not even sure if I can do them. Anyway one of the things I am trying to learn is how to put lines over an image. For example the very first picture on this site: ...
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat I want to do, is take the path tool, make a pattern around a picture (which is rectangle) placing it on a picture of a board like this...and then pull the picture horizontally, and vertically, to make it circular, to fit the perimeter of the board. If I understand it correctly, when you use the path tool...it allows you to make an image round (from rectangular) is that true?

I screen capture a web page I want to modify and plop new text on it. But the fonts in my screen capture are more crisp than the text I type in Photoshop! The fonts I type in Photoshop look blurry, fat, messy, "like crap" - even though I set my anti-aliasing to "crisp".
Is there a better way of getting cleaner text to display?
Is there a 3rd party plugin I could use or something?
I have created a shape using the Shape tool and have applied a 1px inside stroke to the shape. The problem is that the stroke appears to be anti-aliased. I want it to be crisp. It is actually a straight line.

It has taken me hours just to delete large areas of white space that is fuzzy/speckled.
there is a function that can trace a line ignoring the fuzziness around it and making it crisp? I've been playing around with the magic wand tool but its not coping with it. Despeckle filter doesn't really cut it either.
How do you create crisp buttons? I have a client that needs a number of buttons saved at 32x32, 24x24 and 16x16 pixels. I have designed the buttons in Illustrator, but when they are placed into photoshop they can end up blurring. I understand they have to pixelate, but the problem I am having is that some of the vertical and horizontal lines end up sitting between to rows of pixels and so spread across both, blurring the line. Is there any magic way to fix this other than fine tuning the position, or altering the vector? Or should these types of buttons be created in a different program?
I am generally very proficient with Photoshop, but I've never had to work at this scale before.
