Photoshop :: Workspace Keeps Going Black When Using Pen Tool
Aug 14, 2013
When using the pen tool in Photoshop, everytime I click the workspace goes black. When I searched this it instructed me to uncheck the 'use graphics processor' option from preferences but this has made no difference.
When using the Smartbrush tool in Elements 11, I cannot get the slider controls to show on the right hand side of the workspace - the tutorial shows them and describes how to use them (easy!), but I can't get them to show.
I have recently installed the newest AC Architecture. Unfortunately I have some problem with tools in one palette CHANGE.
When I choose one of them (f.e. sign door or sign window) I get this kind of allert that "I can not find the tool in the current workspace". I have no ide what can be a problem.
More over on my friend's computer all this tools work correctly but only from the ribbon (it isn't possible to use this tool directly from command space).
i have a problem in Architecture 2012, First i can't use AEC dimensions because the tool is not found in the workspace and i'm using the loaded architecture work space.also i cannot get into the cui, i click on it and it just stops working.
I just downloaded 2013 Autocad for MAC and I can't manage to see my drawing toolbars and also don't know where to find workspace settings to change my workspace to autocad classic.
I am trying to go from the 3D Modeling workspace to the 2D workspace without the XYZ coordinate gizmo on the drawing screen (just want to see the XY ucs) to work in 2D format.
is there a way to have the profile be on 2d drafting already as yoju open a new file or should you always open a new file and then change the profile from architecture to 2d drafting?
When I try to edit text or add text in Photoshop CC, I get a completely black image. I have to click in the layers panel to get the image back. I am on a new laptop and new CC install.
Everytime i select with any of the marquee tools in photoshop cc the canvas goes black. If I move the cursor it occasionally flashes on and off but it is impossible to select areas within an image. Deslecting or selecting another tool stops it.
I am using OS X 10.8.2, ATI Radeon 4670, CS6 Extended 13.0.1 When I select and place the red eye tool over the eye and click, the black dot appears on the lip or off to the right. Is there some setting I need to make? It has always worked correctly in the past.
I've recently switched to a new computer but am still using PS 6.0 with all setting the same (I think). Formerly the smudge tool removed color from the working layer revealing the layer below (i.e., the working layer was transparent to the layer below). Now, when I use the smudge tool, black is revealed under any color removed with the smudge tool.
I can not use the color replacement tool to replace a grey/black color on a person's head to all black. The tool keeps getting a grey not a black, even after I select black from the swatch.
Does the image file need to be something else than RGB? I have tried other color and it does work. I have tried red and it will replace all of the grey&black, but .........
I'm using CS6 on my MacPro and and MacBook Pro (both running 10.6.8). When i use the crop tool on my laptop, an annoying black rectangle with dimensional data pops up whenever I crop. This does not happen on my desktop. I need this turned off on my laptop as well.
I'm currently using photoshop CS6 and am trying to make a nice logo for my website. I used photoshop through high school so I know little basic things about the program. Anyways, I'm creating a logo from a tut on youtube, it says to hit "ctrl i" which makes the background black. After that I select a darkish grey as my foreground color, then I hit the gradient tool and set it to "radial gradient." Now I drag the mouse across the document and let go but nothing happens. I then tried it with a white background and it worked fine, but I want the background to be black. I made sure that it was on normal, the opacity is 100% and everything seems correct to what the tutorial was showing me. He uses a different photoshop than me so I don't know if that's what causes it.
I recently downloaded Photoshop from the Cloud. When I try to use the text tool the whole canvas turns black. I can turn it back on by toggling the eye open and shut on the layer but when I try to write text again the screen turns black again and soon as I click the image.
I bought Photoshop CS5 from the internet but it seems when I convert my Raw files using Adobe Bridge the tool bars /sliders on the right are all black. If I didn't know Photoshop well (I work as a professional photographer) I would be in big strife!
bring the light back on the subject of this issue??Should it be an update issue or have I somehow got a glitchey software issue?
I just got Photoshop cs6, and I am probably at intermediate level in expertise. When I try to use the marquee tool, the lasso tool or the quick selection tool on an image, the image just goes black. I have to click back to "Open" on the History the get the actual image back. I have Windows 7 64 bit. I have never had this problem with other versions of Photoshop.
CS5, Photoshop. I want to replace a short portion of the top of a black turtleneck sweater with the adjacent skin color. In other words, lower the height of the turtleneck on the neck. Skin color is very light white. I have tried th patch tool, but it does not change the balck to the white skin color. It just lightens the black slightly. how to replace the black with the light white?
When I create a text layer, the whole image turns black. If I enter the text blindly, I will see the expected results when I finish and click on another tool. If I try to edit the text layer, everything turns black again.
I am not using the type mask tool. I can select and move the layer and I can blend the layer; I just can't see what I am typing. Using Windows 8
I couldn't use the crop tool: when I want to crop any area, the big black-colored area occurs and preventing me to see what I want to crop... Before, with my Photoshop, I didn't have a such trouble, I attached a print-screen and it explains more accurate.
