Jul 19, 2013I sometimes want to place an image without using MiniBridge. It is greyed out. How can I get it back? I work on a Mac with CS6.

Photoshop :: MiniBridge Was Not Installed (CS6)
Sep 14, 2012I installed Photoshop CS6 (International/English language) 9 days ago (upgrade from CS4), I can use it, but when I try to open MiniBridge, I get an Error message which says that it can’t be launched because the MiniBridge extension is not installed. I have checked the install log, and the summary shows this:

Could these problems be caused because I still have CS4, which has not been uninstalled? I am using Win7 (last update two days ago).
Photoshop :: Place Photo Into One Of Shapes - Place Command - Does Not Work?
Dec 10, 2012I am using Photoshop cs6. I purchased a template for magazine advertising purposes. The images have been taken out but there are custom designed objects (masked shapes) where I am supposed to place my images. When I attempt to place a photo into one of the shapes, using the Place Command, it does not work.
How can I place an image into one of the objects?
Photoshop :: Why Place Command Won't Place Other PSD Precisely
Jan 11, 2013I am using Photoshop CS6. I have a question about Photoshop command Place.(File- Place) . Here are some pictures below. It shows the problem.
I opened the PSD file that has a green circle(picture 1) and using Place command to import other PSD file that has a red circle(picture2). Those 2 PSD files are same size, same canvas size, 1024x1024. So it should place the red circle precisely on the green circle, but as you can see, if I import the red circle PSD into Green circle PSD, Place command won't place the red circle pensively on the green circle. There is a gap between those 2 circles.(Picture3) It's really frustrating, because I have to move the red circle layer manually to place it just onto the green circle.
This command "Place" isn't reliable, so usually I don't use this command, and use Duplicate layer or group to import contents of other PSD, but if Place command can import other PSD file without this gap problem, I will use it because it's much faster than duplicating.
Do you know why and how to place those 2 files without the gap? Is it a glitch? I should not use Place command to import other PSD file?

I have checked and my vRAM is 512mb which seemed to be the biggest source of this problem for other people, but my 3D tools are still greyed out. I have converted the working file from CYMK to RGB and the 3D tools have become available.

Apr 22, 2013I have Photoshop CS6 13.0.1 x64 Extended and all options under the 3D manu are grayed out. My graphic adapter is nVidia GeForce GTX 650 (it has 1024 MB memory). I have Windows 7 x64 and 8GB RAM.
In Performance settings I have checked to use the graphic processor and in Advanced settings the drawing mode either Basic, Normal or Advanced, it doesn't make a difference.
I just tried to create a 3D postcard and got this message: why the 3D doesn't work and what can be done about it?Here is a fragment of System Info regarding the display driver. The line with OpenCL Version is empty, although I have checked "Use OpenCL", could this be a problem?

Sep 11, 2012I do have some issues with the inverse selection. Once I finished using "Pen Tool" and all dots have been connected I go to Select-Inverse to select the image but unfortunately the"Inverse" is grayed out. I remebere having this issue few years ago . I did called the Adobe Tech Support and have been navigated to the program folder to replace some of the files that have been corrupted. After that everything was working fine.

It has no selections, no layers, etc.
When I select filters, all the options,

Nov 2, 2008My problem is that I have a layer in CS3 which is a rasterized layer with text in it. I am trying to apply a filter under the 'Distort' section but the ONLY one that I can select is the 'Lens Correction', every other filter in 'Distort' is grayed out.

Dec 26, 2011My current system includes Windows XP (32bit) SP3 with 4 Gb Ram, ATIV4900 FirePro video card, Dell U2711 monitor (supports 10bit), Version 8.85.7.3 of the catalysts drivers.
I have enabled 10 bit within Catalyst and went to Preferences Performance to enable the 'Advanced" mode of OpenGL only to find it grayed out. I searched and read where others had had similar issues though most were on a 64 bit system. OpenGL version is 6.14.10.10795.
My computer is using the Dell provided driver for the U2711 monitor.I am also using the display port cable to drive the monitor at its native 2560 x 1440 resolution.
