Photoshop :: Where To Find The Caps Lock Functionality To Disable The Shortcut
May 15, 2013
Currently when you press the caps lock button while you use a brush you get a circle marking the boundary, I would like it to always be like this without pressing the CAPS LOCK. how can alter this behavior?
photoshop_cs5 and photoshop cs6..My fonts are all coming up in caps. My caps lock is not on. The lower case letters are also coming up in caps. Cannot get it to work.
I have some sorta permanent "caps lock" ...im not using it when i write ...i hit Shift and still the caps r still there...i cant change it...its not my keyboard...because it only happens with photoshop cs ...
I use Adobe Lightroom but am new to PSE. When I use the text mode all of my letters are in caps. Caps lock is not on. I did reset preferences on next launch and that didn't work.
I dont know if this an Autocad Lt 2012 or windows 7 function, but a lot of times when I'm typing in Autocad (using Dtext), the caps lock seems to switch itself on and off, which of course is extremely annoying.
It keeps messing with my workflow as I use the backspace a lot and the help key (Mac) is really easy to press. Keeps opening my browser which is not a good idea when you're working huge images and you're on a schedule.
Sometimes, when I go to hit the "f" key to initiate fillet, I accidently hit the "g" key, which brings up the Group Manager dialog box, which I NEVER use. The escape key does not close this dialog box, so I have to stop and click on the X to close it. I want to disable the "g" shortcut key. How do I do that?
i set up the w key in my pgp file for a shortcut for wblocking (i only have 1 pgp file on my work station) it saved fine however, when i press the W key i get the workspace dialog box not a wblock dialog box any clue as to why the pgp file shortcut isnt working loading and how can i disable or change the workspace dialog from the W key
In the earlier versions of acad the "ctrl-w" toggled object snap tracking on or off, but in 2012 it is changed to Selection Cycling on or off. This is quite irritating, because I got used to toggle object snap tracking with it and still automatically use it for that purpose. But I tried my best in the user interface to find it and change it or even disable it. But can't seem to find it anywhere or change it for that matter.
Is there a way to disable the keyboard shortcut which opens Adobe Bridge from Illustrator? Often when I'm working quickly I accidentally hit this (option command o) instead of (shift command o) to outline type. It halts everything to open Bridge, which I never use. Is there any way to disable this command?
When I use the shortcut in CS 6 "shift + delete" the dialog box does not show up the selection actually disappears. Where to find the content dialog box without the shortcut.
I need to change the shortcut commands but cannot find the file or how to do it in AutoCAD LT 2012. I had to reinstall due to a virus in my computer and I cannot remember how to do this, it has been too long.
I want to find a shortcut to be able to slice off the corner of an object (see picture below). Is there some sort of build in function to do so?

I have been manually doing this by (1) creating a square surface (2) re-positioning it over the corner and (3) using the slice command to ultimately slice off the piece and delete the excess.
As you can surmise, step (2) [re-positioning that damn surface over the corner], takes FOREVER.
I have photoshop cs and I am having a problem with my fonts. It is always in CAPS no matter if the caps lock is on or off. Does anyone know why this is?
Im trying to build a new album in PS4, and all my fonts are in CAPS. My caps button is not stuck because I have typed in "word" and it is fine. I looked in preferences and couldn't find any related setting.
trying to make text all caps, but make the first letter in every word bigger.
In premiere pro there is a setting called "Small Caps" where all capital letters look like normal capital letters, but when you type lowercase it is just smaller capital letters.
The way I get around it is in Photoshop CS2 I just rasterize my text, then cut and manually make the rest of the letters smaller.
How would I go about doing that, without rasterizing my layers?
I've recently started experimenting with the 3D capabilities of Ps CS6 so was excited for the recent update. Frustratingly this update has removed all the functionality of 3D because of the vRAM of my graphics card (256mb). I'm in no position to replace my laptop and am gutted that all the 3D tools are unavailable having used them perfectly well days before. Is there any way to download a version of CS6 previous to the update which still allows me to work with the 3D functionality?
1. When I had PhotoshopCS I used "Adobe Photoshop Interface Improver" which made things much simpler. I can't seem to make the program work with CS2 however. Is there an updated version for use with CS2 or another program that does the same thing?
2. On PhotoshopCS when using a filter, eg. sharpen, there was an option under the edit drop down menu to "fade" its effect. I can't seem to see this on CS2. Where is this command now on CS2?
