View 9 Replies View RelatedI've never had this happen before, but in PS I can only type in caps.
It won't let me type in lower case even when caps lock is off on the keyboard, and when I hold shift it just makes the letters bigger. :]
do you keep your caps lock on and use the crosshairs when working in adobe apps?
or do you use the standard icon?
im not sure why my font is displaying all caps when my all caps key isnt
even active.
ive tryed other fonts and still get all caps
I have tried deleting and reinstalling.
No matter what I do, Photoshop cs2 is only letting me type in capital letters.
trying to make text all caps, but make the first letter in every word bigger.
In premiere pro there is a setting called "Small Caps" where all capital letters look like normal capital letters, but when you type lowercase it is just smaller capital letters.
The way I get around it is in Photoshop CS2 I just rasterize my text, then cut and manually make the rest of the letters smaller.
How would I go about doing that, without rasterizing my layers?
I have a Mac and CS2, I was using the Type tool today to enter some text on a picture and all it would type was capital letters.
My caps key was off, I tried different fonts, I tried typing on a new blank page, but it would only type caps.
I tried typing on an email to see if my caps keys was hung up but that was ok.
This is strange, all my text is in CAPS even though CAPS isn't on, any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.

I dont know if this an Autocad Lt 2012 or windows 7 function, but a lot of times when I'm typing in Autocad (using Dtext), the caps lock seems to switch itself on and off, which of course is extremely annoying.
How do I set Autocad or Windows 7 not to do this.
