At the moment, I'm labeling features on my drawing with stations/offsets, but this question really applies to all label settings - is there any way to restrict the label text to be in all caps? I know I can just type in the station/offset labels manually but I'd like to be able to use the automatic-updating functionality of AutoCAD 3D.

View 9 Replies View Relatedphotoshop_cs5 and photoshop cs6..My fonts are all coming up in caps. My caps lock is not on. The lower case letters are also coming up in caps. Cannot get it to work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI like the AutoCAPS setting in Mtext, however I occasionally use lower-case text when I am typing, such '2"x4" STUDS' . . . now, I do have a problem with AutoCAPS though:
Example - I copy '2"x4" STUDS" and paste it into another Mtext and the lower-case 'x' is automatically pasted as an uppercase character.
Are there any settings for AutoCAPS, or maybe for the copy/paste command that I can change to allow lower-case characters to be pasted into text when the AutoCAPS is on? It is a bit of a hassle to turn off AutoCAPS and turn it back on.
in PSE 10 just this week all of a sudden my text is all in caps regardless of the font. What to do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I am trying to edit certain text features dealing with stationing in one profile view (for example I don't want any stationing on the top of the profile view). How do I do this so it will just affect the noted profile view and not delete the stationing on all of my profile views in this drawing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a plan with lots and lot numbering. I made the lot number text annotative and matching view orientation. But when it rotates in the view it rotates about the left justification point instead of middle as inserted into drawing. So I inserted lot numbert text into drawing and changed text to non-annotative, but now i can not change the text rotation angle unless i use rotate command on each individual piece of text (was trying to pick all text and change in properties box). Using feature lines to assist in grading design so not sure if this is an autocad problem or a civil 3d 2012 problem. I can rotate dtext made or inserted in drawing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy annotative text moves from its original place when I change my viewport scale. I tried to add the PS scale to my original xref, but when I click on the text, I can't change the "no" to "yes" on the options menu where it says annotative.

I go to open a drawing; drawing opens fine and views fine for a second, but then everything changes to viewing Color 9.... I am able to select a line or a piece of text and change it to any color imaginable but it always stays color 9. Although I am able to create a line and have it the correct color, it is just everything that had been existing in the current drawing at the time...
I have tried shademode, which if I put it into a 3d wireframe views fine in modelspace... but it always is going back to the 2d wireframe visual style that is the problem...
I cannot seem to find any problems with the drawing... I have run audit and purge all, I open backed up files and autosaves, all doing the same thing... I even had someone else open the drawing with the same occurence...
Is there a way to set up a custom Point Label Style that will change the text color if the information entered meets particular criteria? I will be entering sample measurements taken on two (2) different dates, but if the sample data is greater than 1.0, I want it to show up a different color.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI dont know if this an Autocad Lt 2012 or windows 7 function, but a lot of times when I'm typing in Autocad (using Dtext), the caps lock seems to switch itself on and off, which of course is extremely annoying.
How do I set Autocad or Windows 7 not to do this.
I am trying to finalize a routine which extracts attributes (created in all CAPS) from a drawing, does a bit of list handling and then will finally write each item of that list to its own line out to a TXT file.
I've had a request from an end-user to change the case of the words in the TXT file from all UPPERCASE to having each Word Capitalized Within Each Item :
e.g. :
the raw list is currently:
"DINING ROOM 1209" "LIBRARY1210" "CORRIDOR A100" "COPY ROOM 1215"
and the current output to TXT file:
DINING ROOM 1209
LIBRARY1210
CORRIDOR A100
COPY ROOM 1215
But I'd like the list to be processed within AutoCAD so that its format is changed to:
"Dining Room 1209" "Library 1210" "Corridor A100" "Copy Room 1215"
because the desired output to the TXT file is:
Dining Room 1209
Library 1210
Corridor A100
Copy Room 1215
Is there any way to convert ALL CAPS to more of a Capitalized format?
in Autocad when you change the justification of text the insert snap of the text stays fixed and the text changes position around this point.
Using the JUSTIFYTEXT command you can change the justification of the text without changing its position. However this command is operated through the command bar of dynamic input. What I would like to do is to have the justification change in the quick properties this way.
What I want to do is have text edit for single line text to start at the end of a string of text instead of high lighting the entire text. Is it possible to do this?
