what happened to the option "Picture Size" under the "View" menu in Photoshop CS6? It was great for viewing as picture size before sharpenning. I know the option 100% is there, but it is often larger than the actual photo size.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm looking at photos in my Library, I'd like to be able to sort them in terms of size.
A photo of 50 k is only of marginal interest for limited upload only. A photo of 15 mg is of great interest. The size tells me that it's at least moderately hi res and that there are probably a lot of pixels involved, and a good print can be made for publication or whatever. But I can't see a way to sort by image size. Is there a way? I'd like to separate a photo with a size of 720 X 480 from a photo with a size of 100 X 75.
When trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.

View 5 Replies View RelatedHow can I view the thumbnail picture on a .psd file in CS6. All I get is a blue box with psd/PS on it instead of the picture that's on that file. This is very annoying because if I'm looking for a specific .psd file I have to look on my picture viewing software, find out what the file name is and then pull it up on photoshop. I have CS3 and I have no problem seeing the picture.

When I create the new document I choose 8x10 new RGB image (not sure what resolution I should use, I picked 200)
The problem is that when I resize another image that I am dragging into my new document it blows up way to big even though I changed it to 8x10.
I tried lowering the resolution to 70 but it still does not fit a 8x10 picture format.
I am trying to make a poster I have the background done and I want to add a pic. The pic is approx 4x6, the poster is 11x17. When I copy the pic into the poster it becomes very small. How do I retain the original size? When I try to transform the pic it becomes blurry.

wanted to put all my holiday photos on a picture-sharing site (Photobucket), but it seemed they were too big and it took forever. It was suggested that I reduce their size on Adobe Photoshop and I have downloaded it (Starter Edition 3.2). However, I can't seem to find a facility to do this. What I would really like to do is reduce all of the file sizes at once. Is this possible? Otherwise I will reduce them one by one, but don't know how to do this either.

In my opinion it should be a size that fills a large part of the users screen so they must see. For the content I think a teaser and then a click to the webpage for more info.
I have Photshop CS4. I create a picture with a specific size in Photoshop (eample: 8.5" x 11"). I send it to the printer. In the printer box it also shows the correct print size. However when it prints it is only a small sample of the picture. An 8.5' x 11" picture from Photoshop, showing that size in the Image box and in the Photoshop print box, when sent to the printer shows at the correct size and prints it at 2-3/4" x 3-1/2". If i save the picture from Photoshop onto my desktop, then open it in Microsogt Office Picture Manager, then send it to the exact same printer, it is printed out at the correct size. I don't know why it will not print it to the correct size from Photoshop.

The problem I have was, the saved picture(with png, jpeg, gif, or any format) has a size of over 40k bite. How to make the file size at most the original size, i.e. 4kb by using Photoshop, if it is possible.
Any time I try to print a picture I get a purple frame which limits the size of any picture to 5X7. How do I remove this frame?

I am using Windows 8.1. most of the video content was taken with an iphone.
Just tried to automate a batch and resize, and then save for web all of the pictures - it didn't work the way I wanted (probably recorded something wrong). But When I tried to rerecord the action - it became impossible to change size of the pictures. I already restarted my computer, but the function of size changing still isn't working.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am myself a photoshop student and I wanna learn about graphic designs, currently Iam working to create pamphlets for an organization.maybe some of you know that for creating brochures you need to set 300 resolution of your image,So only and only high resolution images can be used for this, and we cant find high resolution images easily but that random images which we preserve are mostly workable so that images which Iam trying to use in my brochures are mostly 500/300 px or maximum I may find 800/600 px which is not enough, I at least need to have 1600/1200 px images for a pamphlet I know we mostly use IMAGE SIZE to enlarge the image but as much as we enlarge the image size, the quality becomes more poor that's what the problem is so I wanna know if there is any method of increasing size of the image without losing it's quality,

I want to change the shape of the photo - in my old version, when I changed the size/shape, it would cut off part of the picture (which is what I want in order to get the size I want), whereas in Elements 12 it is just stretching and distorting the photo.
I am using this for a "scrapbook" photo page, where there are multiple photos and text on the page.

I read the tutorial and it says selct Preferences, Sharing then if you have Windows 7 to select it from the drop down menu. However, only option I have to select is Adobe Email Service.
