Photoshop :: Upgrade To CS4 Prod. Premium - Is It...
Apr 11, 2009
I'm running Windows XP pro on P4 3.2gh processors with 2 gb Ram. I've been using Production studio of CS2 and later upgraded some tools to CS3 like photoshop and Illustrator. I remember having a fair bit of trouble installing Production Studio... A lot of people did when it was new. A lot of dinking around was required as I recall. I'm now wanting to upgrade to CS4 Production Premium and wondered if people could share there experiences with that sort of upgrade. Is the cs4 package a pain in the butt to install... Did it install smoothly.
what the best option is to upgrade from 3ds Max entertainment premium to entertainment ultimate? The only upgrade options I can find seem to be the very expensive single-product (non-suite) to ultimate upgrades.
I am trying to 'extrude type' for a 3D effect but the line is greyed out. I can use the separate '3D' icon but the left corner gadget that changes perspective cannot be activated. Is it me or the installation was corrupted somehow?
I bought 4 years ago a Creative Suite Web Premium CS3. Today, I only use Photoshop and Illustrator and would like to update just these softwares to CS6. Can I do it ? Can I just update these 2 softwares even I did not buy them separately ?
I had it installed on my old computer which got stolen . I downloaded it again but when I click the install folder it says it is damaged Re: CS5 design premium.

I'm trying to install the Adobe CS3 Production Premium package on my new computer. After I select "Install Adobe CS3 Production Premium" from the initial dialog box, a new box saying "Initializing Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium" appears with a progress bar. When the progress bar completes, nothing happens. The license agreement window fails to launch. I've tried copying the Adobe CS3 folder to my desktop and running setup.exe alone with no success.
When I use the same disks on a different computer, the license agreement launches.
each time I want to open photoshop theres a message that it misses a plugin, how can I open my programm, I contacted adobe allready but they cannot help me. My clientnumber is [deleted by forum host]
I am trying to install an old Photoshop CS Ver.8 on my new Windows 7 Home Premium OS but it tells me it's a trial Version?? It installs perfectly and works fine but informs me it is good for only 29 more days?? I bought this program new years ago. I have installed earlier versions in case it needs previous DLL's but that didn't work.Â
So, I just switched over from Windows to Mac and decided to buy the CS2 Premium Suite. After finding out that the activation service was shut down, I downloaded all of the CS2 Premium Suite files from the Adobe website; however, none of them will run on my computer. Whenever I try to install the files, I get a message that reads, "Adobe CS2 can't be installed on this disk. Installation onto non HFS drive is not supported." Is there any way for me to get CS2 Premium Suite to run on my new Macbook, or am I going to have to spend more money on a different version for Mac? If so, which versions of the CS Suite work for the new Macbooks? Or, which versions of Photoshop work for the new Macbooks? Photoshop is my main priority.
Long time PS user with no real problems until now. CS2 works for a while but then suddenly my drop down menus (file, edit, image etc) will not drop down.
I can still edit the images I'm working on with the tools palette but can't save my work, nor can I use any drop down menus (even help, window and view). If I then try to close PS it sits there and essencially crashes and I have to close it via task manager.
I'm looking to purchase a new PC that runs the 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium. I'm wondering if my older programs, Premiere Pro 1.5, Photoshop 7, and Dreamweaver MX 2004 will run in the new system.
The company I am currently working for are using Adobe Creative Suite Premium and are looking to upgrade to Creative Suite 3 Design Premium.
I just wanted to check a few things thou before we spend the money.
First of all is this upgrade possible or would we have to upgrade to CS2 then CS3?
Also CS3 Design Premium contains Flash and Dreamweaver. Will we get these 2 programs if we update? or will it just update the software we already have, as Flash and Dreamweaver aren't part of the original package we purchased.
I opened my Adobe Photoshop CS3 Web Premium and it told me I cannot use it anymore. Same with Adobe Fireworks. It was running fine previously until THAT day.
I was told by the error message to uninstall or reinstall the progam, which I did. But after uninstalling and installing CS3 again, only Adobe Acrobat was successful. All other components failed.
I can buy this version. I'm currently a student at an evening school. During the day I'm working. Can I buy and register this educ version although I only go to school in the evenings?
I have recieved an answer regarding my inability to install my software on my new computer, but it does not address the problem that there is no record of my previous purchase.
I'm sure this is because it was purchased in 2009 and whatever e mail was sent to me with the serial number is now lost to history.
Just wanted to know if there are any problems installing Adobe Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit? Â Planning to purchase a laptop that comes with the OEM license and plan to use 64-bit OS to maximize the 8GB RAM of memory. Just afraid if there are known issues for this type of installations.
I had to refresh my computer and it uninstalled my Adobe products. How do I get them back. I don't have the option through cloud. It only gives the option to upgrade.Â
Every time I open my Photoshop CS3 program a blank white box appears with heading 'Adobe Web Suite Premium CS3'. There are 3 circles at left, one in is in middle (orange) with - sign and I can remove to dock - however, I still cannot open my files and work now. Then I have to force quit Photoshop just to get rid of white box.Â
I have a picture of a bull rider that i would like to use in one of my next poster designs with the bull rider being the focus of the poster. I would like to use the entire picture as the layout for my poster. My question is..is it possible to fade out the background a bit without fading out the bull rider?
I am using X5 and print on a Cannon wide format inkjet printer. I use RGB colors, but I'm having a problem printing on adhesive vinyl. I used R255 G0 B0 that I've used on other medias, but it came out a little orange. I really need a good red to use with my settings.
When I try to print from lightroom the above image is what I get. If I print via the HP desktop gadget the print is good and colors are fine. The scan of the image has brightened it up a bit.II have a Acer Aspire X3950 PC running windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). The printer is a HP Photosmart Premium C310a. I Color profile is managed by printer.
