I'm recording an action and want the text to be centred horizontally. It just won't do it. Pressing the paragraph buttons shjoot the text off the side and seems to be based on where you intially type the text in the first place. This must be the simplest thing on PS why won't the text just jump to the middle of the photo?
Secondly I'm drawing a selection around the text (then filling with black). There seems to be no way to centralise a selection box either. As when I run the action on different sized photos the box and text end up in completely different places, separately. Why is this and how can I centralise a selection too?
I am having trouble trying to add text to a dynamic block that will stay locked and centered when I stretch it left/right and up/down. The default text I am looking to have should be 36x24 (36 is the lenght of the unit, 24 is the depth). I can also upload my block.
I don’t know is this a problem with a lispmy company has set up or whether it is an autoCAD error. When I go to create a leader I type LE withis short on my system for QLEADER. You can then draw your leader or entersettings One I have drawn the leader I go to placethe text the problem I then have is that sometime my text appears below theline (pic 1) and sometime appears next to the line (pic 2)
Pic 1 correct.png
Pic 2 incorrrect.png
In the setting I make sure they are asbelow be sometime is doesn’t matter. settings.png
(I think this has something to do withdrawing setup or annotation scale.) I have attached a file where I am havingthe problem as well as one that I am not having the problem
why the frame of my text masks are off centered...half off the text. i have to adjust it every time using the wipeout command>frame>on to adjust the frame....then turn the frame off again.
Why is my image not centered when I print? I have set everything correctly, but the end result is always an image that is pushed off the page. I thought it was my old printer, but I just got a new one, and it is happening with this one, too.
Zoom in so much that the image is bigger than the screen and then navigate somewhere near the edges of the image. Then zoom out again. When the image is the size of the screen, Photoshop centers it annoyingly. In short, it's not possible to move the photo on the screen when it fits the screen, only when it's zoomed in a bit.
Reasons of moving a fitting image on the screen can be for example that the screen is big and you want to get a certain edge of the image at the top of the screen... or near the tools, who knows.
Really annoying anyway and the option "Resize windows when zooming" doesn't affect this behaviour.
When I zoom in with the scroll wheel, the zoom is relative to location of the cursor. However, when I zoom out using the scroll wheel, it automatically zooms out relative to the center of the canvas. Is there a shortcut key or a setting that will allow for when you zoom out to be centered on the location of your mouse, rather than the center of the canvas?
I'm working on a 960 grid layout, with all the vertical guides showing the grid.
I want to increase my canvas width from 960 to 1200, keeping the artwork centred, so in the canvas size dialog box I select the center anchor. Unfortunately this keeps the artwork centred but the guides always move left, as if they're anchored to the left of the canvas. This means the guides are no longer in position.
Is there any way to add more canvas to both sides while keeping the guides where they are relative to the artwork?
I have owned Photoshop CS3 and CS5. I have used these products across 3 different computers, OSX and Windows in several different versions. I have used 4 or 5 different printers and each and every time my images print offset to the left of the page with about an 1 inch blank space down the right edge of the page. Portrait or Landscape, it makes no difference. I have tweaked the settings in Photoshop and the operating system and printer settings endlessly, all to no avail.why Photoshop isn't capable of printing an image centered on the page or borderless. I am currently using Windows 8.1 beta, an Intel i5 based system, a Canon MG6220 printer with Photoshop 5.1 64 and 32 bit.
I have a block that is being inserted to my drawing via my .net program. The problem I am having is my attributes are centered, but the content coming from .net is not. If I change the attribute value in AutoCAD after the fact it goes back to being centered.
i have a picture of a person and i moved the person from the original picture and background into another background. when i imported the second background and put the two together, the person was in the new background but they both were up in the left hand corner of the screen and very small. i've tried everything i know to get them back into the middle of the screen but no luck. i'm sure i must have clicked on some button that i shouldn't have but i can not for the life of me figure out what it was. i can not go forward with pdn as long as this problem exists and the work i have to do is standing still instead of progressing.
My routine inserts in modelspace different blocks with attributes in it with justification "Center".After the blocks are inserted and the attributes are filled, it all looks good in Autocad. Then I want to plot the DWG.
The problem is that the centered attributes in the plot are then justified to "Left" ?When I run my routine the second time in the same drawing then it goes well.It looks like the attributes or blockreference isn't updated well in the database after insert?
public static BlockReference InsertBlockReference(Database database, string filename, string blockname, Point3d insertionpoint, Scale3d scalefactor) { using (DocumentLock documentLock = Active.Document.LockDocument()) { using (Transaction transaction = database.TransactionManager.StartTransaction()) [code]..
I like to print 12 x 18 on 13 x 19 but a3 13 x 19 allows only 12.95 width. If I select my custom template 13 x 19 with .5 border it tells me i must use front loading, occasionally it has let me but most of the time i must print 11.95 x 18 making photos a little off center?
I am unable to perfectly center because print driver on canon pixma pro mk2 gives only a3 13 x 19 with a border, yet it takes 13 x 19 with driver setting.
When I print 8x10s in Lightroom 4, they are not centered even though the box labeled center is checked. Strangely, I do not have this problem printing 11x14 or 4x6.
There ought to be a way to do this, but I don't see how: I record forums, and the presenter frequently wanders back and forth across the stage. I can use the motion tracker to track his wanderings (since the camera is set to a fairly wide angle). What I want to do with the motion tracking information is have the presenter's clip pan back and forth as he walks forth and back - with the net result that he stays in the center of the screen. (I'd use a zoomed portion of the image so that there would be enough to fill the frame.
Is there a way to do this? It would make forum recording so much easier.
In AutoCAD LT 2013, whenever I open a drawing I previously created and stored, it opens with a small amout of the bottom of the drawing below the bottom border of the window. Repeatedly I have tried positioning the drawing the way I would like it to open then saving that configuration. That's how I always did it in AutoCAD 2000, my previous version. Regardless how many times I go thru that process, all drawings always open centered horiz'ly but with the bottom bit of the drawing below the bottom border of the window.
I constantly look for a "Center Drawing In Window" button, or "Save Current View" button and so far have found nothing I recognize as such or even close. Am I looking for something that doesn't exist? Am I not understanding how it works? In the grand scheme it really doesn't matter because it's simple to pan the drawing into a fully readable scene - but I am still curious.
Before I flame off on this crap CC version of ID: Why isn't my art centered when I resize my document? I have the center box selected at the upper left as I always do but as soon as I change the page size, the orientation is top left and all the art is hanging to the right and below my new page size. I'm not doing photo retouching. I can't read any of my menus.
I've just upgraded to ACA 2012. I can see how to insert a door in either an offset "or" centered position, but not both. In my previous version, the position could be set to "center / offset" which was an "and / or" option depending on the cursor location. Is this option available in ACA 2012?
I am currently working on a project that requires me to keep an object centered between a biped's hands (like a floating fireball or a box). I need to be able to move the hands around and keep the bone averaged between them. The position and rotation need to be averaged for the bone, but not scale.
I am working in Civil 3d 2012 and creating multiple view cross sections. I have my sheet template created and when I create the cross sections, it pulls them to the top corner of the sheet, off the grid. I can not figure out where the setting is to adjust the offset on the sheet.
I used to work with inventor in a class and now lets say i draw a circle of an arbitrary radius/diameter. I mark the center of the circle using the dimcenter command.
I draw a small rectangle around this center mark (this rectangle fits inside of the original circle.)
I want to make each side of the rectangle equally distant from this center point. Since I roughly drew the rectangle around the center point, all sides are not equally distant. How can I do this?
In inventor, I would dimension each side out (dimension from the center point to each side of the rectangle), and double click the dimension and edit the numbers. I would make all the numbers on each side two for example, therefor each side of the rectangle would be two units distance from the center point.
I have a drawing of several walls (so different lines, dimensions, text). I want to draw around it a box of certain size (actually, 1:5 A4) so that it will be centered in the box.
When I place a link that is the exact same size as the artboard and center it. The zero point says 0x, 0y, I Save, and close the file then open and the file, now the linked file moves slightly. as little as .001, sometimes more. Is this a bug? This is in Illustrato CS6 16.0.4 running Mac OSX mountain lion. I guess I should be happy it doesn't flip 180º like links being updated did back in Illustrator 9, or was it 10.
I'm trying to centre an image to the centre of the browser using the responsive settings. My problem is that I can centre the image, but as soon as I start to scale upwards or downwards the Logo isn't staying in the middle of the browser.
Using WD7 Tweaks,How do I create a 2048 background image Centered and no repeating? If i remember correctly, the tweak is placed over the corner of the background page
Which layer should the Tweak be placed? this code is working but makes the image forced right.or is the new way to copy the code and place in the: Placeholder>HTML code [head]
How to make a centered background scaled image/video in Edge Animate. Can't code, so I'm trying to use the properties panels.
1. Have the image centered in the middle of the stage 2. Have it scale to fill the screen always so there are no black bars (ie, I want a stage with only picture on it)
[URL]...
(This project is only aimed for iPad and above - desktop, so don't need mobile resolutions)
My work around is to do this via manual CSS, but there has to be a better way to keep it within the Edge compositiion
I also tried to import this Edge stage into Reflow after seeing this demo [URL]...
but just got blank screens : [URL].....
(I do like Reflow's ability to target specific resolutions but I don't quite need it for this project).
