Photoshop :: Take Entire Group Of Photos That Are Of Different Sizes
Mar 9, 2013
Is there a way to take an entire group of photos that are different sizes and do something that will change all of them to the same size (or as close as possible to the same size) without cropping out parts while maintaining the aspect ratio of the original first layer?
three photos:
1st is 936 X 1101
2nd is 3279 X 3858
3rd is 582 X 1141
I'm new to Maya, so this is likely something I'm just missing or that I've done without realizing it, however...
I've created a scene with a few polygonal objects. As an example, imagine a house with plants around it and a cloud above. The plants are spaced evenly along a curve, and the cloud is also made using a Paint Effect with a Modifier around it to control it's shape using slight forces, etc.
However, when it's done and I select the entire group of objects to drag to a different position, weird things happen. The plants seem to move much more quickly in that direction, so that soon they're no longer positioned where they should be at the base of the house, and the clouds move in the opposite direction from where I'm dragging (i.e. down not up). What I'll call the 'normal' polygonal objects (e.g. the house, car, etc.) all move fine, but I cannot figure out how to fix the other items so everything maintains its relative position, or lock the whole scene together to move as a group.
I've tried to combine them, and even 'parent' everything to the house, but I suspect I've changed something like a control handle position or rotated something that now moves opposite the normal xyz directions.
i need to merge two photos (of persons)in photoshop which are of different sizes..i have to make them llok as if they are of the same size..how to make them of same size in order to merge them..
My photo files show in Windows Explorer as "400x400" but load onto photoshop project layers at wildly different pixel dimensions: 80x80 to 675x675; why don't they load at 400x400? (Win 7 64; CS6E)
One of my gigs is as a school photographer. When looking at all the photos as a group there are slight variations in the levels and tones. My way of dealing with this is to go through them in LR one by one and make adjustments to make them all look like they have the same tone and levels. I typically do this with the the highlights, shadows and sometimes the exposure sliders.
Is there a way that I can define what I want an image to look like in terms of it's "brightness" and then automate a process that will make all the photos in a group look the same?
I can use either Lightroom or Photosho CS to accomplish this. I have a Creative Cloud subscription if there's any other tool or application.
We have a large project that we want to try reducing the DPI on the graphics. I am new to photoshop and wondered how to do it and if you can do it in a batch?
I've taken a large quantity of digital photos during the rare snow we had this year. Am new at digital and unfortunately I took at too great of a resolution for what I want to do with them.
I am making GIF backgrounds for PPT, and some grouping will have as many as sixty pics in them. But the file sizes are HUGE (my goof) and GIF animators can't handle them.
Is there any way to compress batches of photos all at once? (Can't find that on the Batch command unfortunately) Resizing them one by one is laborious, even using hotkeys. Time is an issue.
I am trying to add a watermark to a group of photos. I have Photoshop Elements 10. I have read the tutorial and it instructs me to open "file" and select "multiple", however, that is not an option when I open "file". Where am I going wrong? How do I accomplish this task? In addition, is there a way when I create a watermark to save it so I can use it as needed to future photos?
photoshop album 2.0. i am attempting to burn a group of photos to a cd and the error message i continue to ge is "the cd divise appears to be installed but is not running pleas reinstall adobe photoshop and try again". i have reloaded photoshop 3 times with the same result
I have six photos which are aligned and distributed equally and linked so they move as one. I want to center this group on the page but as soon as the background layer is selected, each photo piles onto each other with a mind of its own. Tried everything I know (which isn't really very much). It will work if I merge the group, but I don't want to do that.. I am using Elements 12 with Windows 8.1.
I used to make a really neat strip of merged images using PSE 4 and its photomerge feature. How can I make a merged group of photos blended and being aligned side by side horizontally like PSE 4 used to do? Using PSE 10?
Why would a group of photos be grayed out that have been active in the past? I have used this group to make a slide show and everything was fine. They have not moved from the original folder, however they are now not accessable.
I am trying to apply a keyword to a group of photos, and am holding down the shift key as instructed. However, only the first picture is getting the keyword attached. I am using Lightroom 4.
I need to put two pictures side by side to merge one person into a group shot. I had it once, but, the image of the one person was too big, and I could not figure out how to put that picture back and get another one to try.
I have table, several chairs and some glasses and plates on table. I want to group them and instance that group, hundred of times. Problem is that I do not have materials implemented and I will not until client is satisfied with arrangement. I have problems later, even using many scripts I found, to add material to all instances. Only way is to select one by one.
Other thing is that there might be new objects added into set, so best way would be to add to master group and that will be added in instances of that group automatically, but that does not work with Maya.
I am using CS5 Extended Teacher Student edition on my Mac OS X version 10.6.8. After using PS5 for many months with no problems, suddenly my entire menu is unavailable. I cannot even open a file or close a file from the menu.
I closed PS and restarted it and it is the same. As you will see in the screenshot, I recently downloaded and installed a couple sets for the Radlab plugin that I use to edit. I had not had any previous issues with RadLab. I have three shoots to edit and can't do anything.
Why would you take a layout from Illustrator or Photoshop to InDesign when you can do the entire layout in either of those programs, with crop guides and save the files as a PDF for printing? Is there any reason to not do an entire layout in Photoshop?
I recently made a poster which was taken to the printers, the printer said that my file was not the correct size, i had made the image to the A1 dimensions but when it printed it was much smaller on the page, they said the file wasnt the right dimensions but they can stretch it to fit, so what is wrong, is there another setting i should have used because i thought if you made the picture to the A1 dimension or to any dimension you wanted then it would print in that size?
I am trying to get my head around teh size of the layouts I have seen in tutorials. A lot of them atre about 770x 700 and the thing is this is not big enough for the width. How do you get round this. Do you use css to expand teh size of everything to how you want it to?
