During the Beta versions of Photoshop, I have moticed there was an extra support for typing, which was arabic or midlle eastern typing from the language options
but I see in the finall releas.. this option has been unebabled..
so now I cannot type in arabic ?!

In Corel Draw X4 Version 14.0.0.567 it is not working properly in Farsi typing. The courser always stays one character in front and also the courser direction is vise versa, not like Arabic.Also Non - Breaking Space and Non - Breaking Hyphen doesn't work properly in Farsi and Arabic type. However this problem didn’t exist in Corel Draw Version 13.0.0.576. The files which have been created by Corel Draw 11, 12, 13, when being opened with the 14 version the texts get disarranged. These problems exist in Windows XP Service Pack 2 and also Windows Vista.

I am working on this, and I typed this arabic word in photoshop, normally with other fonts i have no problem typing, I don't normally have this problem with any other fonts, but with this one, everytime I try and type,
The one on top is normal, the one on bottom I tried messing with the horizontal spacing but it just shows a white space where they are supposed to connect. Any help would he really appreciated. Also, This is the first time this happened with me, so I don't think I need the ME version because I do this all the time, just with different fonts,
for some reason my Photoshop CS is not allowing me to select 'english' in the resolution field when I create a new document in Photoshop. Any ideas why? Another installation here at my office shows English as an option - on my machine and another machine it's not there at all. This of course is concerning because if we select other language options the numbers get concerning and we are not confident that using 'Arabic' will provide us the correct resolution settings.

As you know arabic is typed from right to left, but in photoshop they are typed from left to right.
Everything is fine when typing on another program like notepad or MS word, but in photoshop letters are reversed,
Windows -> Character: I chose Adobe Arabic
Windows -> Paragraph is set to right align text and justification is set to arabic, eventhough arabic letter are typed backward and are not connected.
I have windows 7
I had install the new software of Adobe Photoshop CS6 and it is not supporting the Arabic Language.
for example ; it is writing أ ح م د not أحمد like that !

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a mockup designed in English which needs to be translated in several other language for our sales team to use in the presentations.Translating to French, German and Chinese worked out fine, bur for some reason this is not working for Arabic text.I have a translated Word document from which I'm pasting the translation into my original English version, for which I would the realign as needed for the layout.
The problem is that, for one, I can't seem to find a matching default font in Photoshop which translates well (for example, for Chinese used "Microsoft Yahei", and "Helvetica" for German).I have over a dozen Arabic font options to choose from, but something still seems wrong when comparing.
I'm not trying to turn my whole work space in Arabic, put need to copy/paste text from Word into Photoshop the realign to the right (basically flip it)What am I missing here? Are there some specific settings I need to modify to have this work?
I've downloaded some of adobe cs6 programs such as photoshop, dreamweaver, illustrator, and flash, But when I was going to begain a new download I found that there is an ( English - Arabic enabled ) option that I unfortunately hadn't enabled in the previous downloads -
Is that the reason I can't write arabic properely in photoshop ? - and instead choosing it I chose ( English ) and unfortunately I need arabic beside english to be enabled and written properley as I am egyptian. I am unable to insert spaces at the beginning of a line. Sometimes the cursor will appear at the end of a line, but be inserting characters at the beginning of the line.
