May 5, 2013Most seem to be for versions earlier than CS6, or they omit an important step or mention some function I can't find.I'm creating a state seal, with a blue band around the design. Inside the circular blue band, I'd like to type the words "Great Seal of" at the top and "Washington State" at the bottom. But I actually need two separate sets of text, because I don't want "Washington State" to be upside down.

Dec 30, 2012The cursor, when typing or editing text is not in the correct position. If I begin typing, it stays a the first column, instead of progressing with the typing. I am unable to insert spaces at the beginning of a line. Sometimes the cursor will appear at the end of a line, but be inserting characters at the beginning of the line.

Nov 5, 2007i'm trying to type chinese or even copy and paste chinese articles into InDesign, using the text boxes, but everything just shows up as little boxes, each character is a little rectangular box.
i noticed that there were dictionaries in the preferences settings and i tried to change fro the English dictionary to chinese but there isnt' one and there doesn't seem to be an option for not having a dictionary on either.
i can type chinese in photoshop as well as Illustrator......what do i have to do with InDesign?

Sep 19, 2013Photoshop (any version) has historically had an issue with typing speeds. If you type too fast, double letters will come out as single letters. The previous line would've looked like this: "If you type to fast, double leters wil come out as single leters"
This mainly happens when typing fast, and any of these conditions are met:
- the file is big
- you haven't restarted photoshop in a while
- you've been doing some work (lots of history states)
Basically, as soon as the memory fills up, Photoshop's responsiveness becomes pretty poor when you're typing.I don't expect a solution for this, other than a patch/update, since this is an issue on any machine with any (performance) settings.
