for some reason my Photoshop CS is not allowing me to select 'english' in the resolution field when I create a new document in Photoshop. Any ideas why? Another installation here at my office shows English as an option - on my machine and another machine it's not there at all. This of course is concerning because if we select other language options the numbers get concerning and we are not confident that using 'Arabic' will provide us the correct resolution settings.
I have a mockup designed in English which needs to be translated in several other language for our sales team to use in the presentations.Translating to French, German and Chinese worked out fine, bur for some reason this is not working for Arabic text.I have a translated Word document from which I'm pasting the translation into my original English version, for which I would the realign as needed for the layout. Â The problem is that, for one, I can't seem to find a matching default font in Photoshop which translates well (for example, for Chinese used "Microsoft Yahei", and "Helvetica" for German).I have over a dozen Arabic font options to choose from, but something still seems wrong when comparing.
I'm not trying to turn my whole work space in Arabic, put need to copy/paste text from Word into Photoshop the realign to the right (basically flip it)What am I missing here? Are there some specific settings I need to modify to have this work?
I've downloaded some of adobe cs6 programs such as photoshop, dreamweaver, illustrator, and flash, But when I was going to begain a new download I found that there is an ( English - Arabic enabled ) option that I unfortunately hadn't enabled in the previous downloads -
Is that the reason I can't write arabic properely in photoshop ? - and instead choosing it I chose ( English ) and unfortunately I need arabic beside english to be enabled and written properley as I am egyptian. So , Is there any solution, option, or language patch that changes it to arabic enabled instead of english and re downloading again ? and what is the difference between the two versions, is it language only ?
I have Adobe Photoshop CS6 (part of Master Collection English-Arabic Enabled) installed on MacBook Pro with Mac OS X Mountain LionI went to Preferences -> Type -> chose Middle East , to enable arabic typing but whenever I choose the Text tool, photoshop freezes, and cpu use reaches 130% ( on Activity Monitor it showed that photoshop using 60% of cpu while "fontd" is up to 70%)I don't know why font daemon is consuming that much of cpu, probably facing problems with building fonts models, I left it for half an hour, but no use. Â the corresponding windows version, did not freeze, instead just went alittle quirky heavy for half a minute then back to normal and i was able to use text tool and type in arabic normally
I realize the nature of my question maybe asking the impossible, but I have a low res image I downloaded from the internet, placed in an InDesign page, blew it up and printed it out. I was going for the distressed look that it has, it looks ok when I print it out considering it's low res and I blew it up fairly large. However, it's a little too pixelated to look professional when printed. Are they any tricks or things I can do to make it look higher res for print. I've attached the image as well as a screenshot of the InDesign file so you can see it in context.
I am a Photoshop newbie and I have a series of graphics (all 72dpi from a website) that I would like to print in 300dpi. Is it possible to take a 72dpi .jpeg or .gif file and easily convert it to a higher resolution printable graphic? If Photoshop can't do it, is there any type of program that can?

I am working on this, and I typed this arabic word in photoshop, normally with other fonts i have no problem typing, I don't normally have this problem with any other fonts, but with this one, everytime I try and type,
The one on top is normal, the one on bottom I tried messing with the horizontal spacing but it just shows a white space where they are supposed to connect. Any help would he really appreciated. Also, This is the first time this happened with me, so I don't think I need the ME version because I do this all the time, just with different fonts,
During the Beta versions of Photoshop, I have moticed there was an extra support for typing, which was arabic or midlle eastern typing from the language options  but I see in the finall releas.. this option has been unebabled..  so now I cannot type in arabic ?!
I'm trying to create a high resolution version of a low resolution texture used in a game. I've found a pattern that I think is acceptable, from a real image. Now the question is this: how can I colorize the large image to that it is as resemblant as possible to the original one? I've tryed a simple colorize, but the result is not so good...
I have Win XP SP3 all updates applied. Minimal services running. No software firewall. Everything installed just fine from Production Premium CS4 EXCEPT Photoshop. Error shown in subject line of this post is issued by installer.
Photoshop won't boot stating it is missing files from it's folder.
I have Photoshop Middle Eastern Version CS5. When I type Arabic the letters are typed backward.
As you know arabic is typed from right to left, but in photoshop they are typed from left to right. Â Everything is fine when typing on another program like notepad or MS word, but in photoshop letters are reversed, Â Windows -> Character: I chose Adobe Arabic
Windows -> Paragraph is set to right align text and justification is set to arabic, eventhough arabic letter are typed backward and are not connected. Â I have windows 7

I have a Polish language version of Photoshop CS 5 and I'd like to change it to English. I've tried by  Edit>Preferences>Interface: Interface language but there is only Polish language to choose. Is there English version to download anywhere?
when installing the trial version of photoshop, it works fine until the end where it says installed with errors: Adobe Photoshop CS4 English Language PackError:Error 2. When trying to open photoshop, it says that i need to reinstall and fix the errors first.
I bought a software 'plug in' in English language(German was not available), for a German version of PS CS5 and the first time(I did that many times) it's not working! I also tried to solve this problem with the support of the software company, without success. Of course I don't want to buy a new full PS version, to make this work.
