How does one upload photos from Elements to Revel? How does one look at his photos on Revel? You have made a big deal about moving them to Revel. I think that is great but only if one is given enough information to look at the photos. The only way I can see to view them is with a smart phone--not your computer.
I always used to have my images opened as 'floating' documents. Since I'm using CS4, PS always opens new images 'tabbed', and I have to drag them out of there manually to get a floating window. Is there a way to prevent this? I noticed the 'Open Document as Tabs' setting in the Interface Preferences, but that doesn't seem to do the trick (either enabled or disabled, PS keeps doing it).
I just got a new D5, and unloaded the provided software. I'm confused about getting the images into Bridge? I don't want to use the Canon software for any processing, just uploading. Can I store the RAW images, or do I need to convert them so something else?
When I upload images from my SD card onto the computer using windows 8, all the images on the card are uploaded. How can I upload only the new images on the card and not those that have been previously uploaded.
In CS6 when I enlarge a photo by pressing the spacebar I have got to go to 100% to get a sharper picture, is there anything I can do to get a better resolution photo without having to go to 100%
For the past one year I have been regularly editing my photographs in Photoshop (CS5 and CS3) and uploading them on my blog and my fb page.  However since the past 45 days I edited 5 albums in Photoshop but have not been able to upload a single photo on fb or on any other page. I moved browsers trying chrome, fire fox and even IE but nothing worked. I then formatted my laptop and reinstalled CS5 only to know that too was not useful.  I tried editing some photos in basic picassa and that worked well and was able to upload photos on fb and my blog. I then tried uploading some old photos (edited in photoshop) and they are getting uploaded. So I am sure this is a recent problem with photoshop.
I just upgraded from LR3 to LR5 - when I export and upload to Facebook - the photos look horrible. Very unclear. Looks like they got compressed in a strange way. I am doing everything the same way I did it in LR3 but getting differnet results.

I have recently purchased Lightroom 4. I have edited my photos and saved them as JPEG. I exported them to my computer and wanted to select some for my Picasa web album. I have never resized previously and uploaded full size as I thought they are my back up if I lost everything here.
Anyway when I tried to upload to Picasa it said the image was too large. Some were around 3-4MB which i thought was ok?
This happenes often, but not consistently.I'm using CS6 (regular) with OSX Lion, 16GB RAM. Â Once I have a few files open, Photoshop starts "stealing" the cursor focus, which is to say if I go to any other application, as soon as I make one click, PS jumps into the foreground and becomes the active application. The click I made in the other app was applied, and I can see it when I go back to that app, but as soon as I click again, Photoshop pops back into focus. Â The only workaround I've found is minmizing PS while I use other apps. Or closing it and restarting it. Sometimes just reducing the program window works, and sometimes not.
I'm working with Lightroom 4.4 to upload photos to Blurb. Two weeks ago, I tried this with 44 page photobook and it worked fine. In the past few days, I made a new book (205 pages) and it simply give an error message in the middle of an uploading process. I'm wondering if starting this all over again is the only option. The error message simply states there was an error during the uploading process and nothing more.Â
I am having a new issue with my Lightoom (4) Suddenly, every time I try to upload photos into Lightroom, I get a "Files Cannot be Read" message. I have never had this problem before. SOmetimes it will upload a few out of the bunch, but not all of them. I have tried to change all my permissions settings to "Read & Write" but am still not having any luck. It seems that it works sometimes, but mostly not.Â
I am relatively new to Lightroom 4 and have had some issues with uploading files to a website that I have already exported from lightroom. I have exported many photos from lightroom to my desktop and then brought them into iphoto. I then went to upload some of those photos, now in iphoto to websites like snapfish, etc. to develop prints or make cards. When I upload these photos to the website, they often look poor in comparison when I look at the same image in iphoto.I then emailed myself the same photo and renamed the image. The photo then uploads true to what it looks like in iphoto. Am I not exporting these images correctly?Â
Is there an easy way to upload about 100 images from lightroom 3 into Photoshop CS5 at one time? I'm trying to add my logo on all my images without pulling each one in at a time.
I've always had this problem when I create images using GIMP, where any red I use gets distorted on upload and looks blurred. I usually convert to JPEG, but have tried using BMP and PNG and it makes no odds. It only does it with red.
Why this happens with red only? Or tips for how to stop it? I know there is some compression involved but it's fine with every other possible color.
I had such great luck getting a pencil tool frustration I've lived with for far too long fixed by simply asking a question here, so I thought I'd ask one more. I downloaded some actions from Adobe Studio Exchange. A couple of them "stole" normal function key shortcuts (i.e., clicking "f5" runs some bizarre "Polaroid" action instead of opening the brushes panel). That sucks!
I've just been immediately deleting actions whenever I've noticed this behavior--but is there any way to prevent that from occurring? I wouldn't mind keeping some of these actions around--but I'd *never* want an action to override a shortcut--nor would I ever *need* an action to even have a shortcut.
I can not upload my files to an online site to design a photo album. Apparently they are too large. Any screen print of how the export should be set to produce a quality 10 x 10 album and will upload in a reasonable time frame?
How long should it take for an album of photos to be uploaded? Is there any faster way to distribute an album or large batch of photos besides uploading an album?
I have created 2 web galleries--one html and one Flash. I saved them to my local drive and they work perfectly. Then I uploaded to our server (I checked to see that all folders/files made it, and they did) and then when I access the index.html file, neither the thumbnails or the full-size images show. Here are the two URLs
I'm using Photoshop CS4 on a Mac. I'm having a strange thing happen that hasn't always happened. When I click on a layer to move it... suddenly when I go to move it, it switches to another layer and moves THAT (wrong) layer. They are not linked. Â Along similar lines, something else weird is happening. When I create a group.I can't move just one layer within that group. ALL layers in the group move. This also didn't used to happen. Â I somehow changed a preference, but I can't for the life of me figure out.
I am trying to align two identical images which are 180 degrees rotated apart ( and not exact mirrors ) I need to be able to grab the rotation handles from within the area of the image. In order to see matching features I need to be zoomed in, and can't see the features if I zoom out far enough to grab the handles. I prefer the handles over numerically transforming.
I have both PS 4 and PS CS5.1 installed. A client gave me a Word file with embedded high resolution photos. When I copy them from Word and open a new file in PS4, the photo comes in at full resolution. If I do so in CS5.1, it's like a screen shot--72 dpi. Is there a way to have it be high res in CS5.1?
