When I attempted to uninstall the trial version of CS4 using windows Add/Remove Programs, I received an error message that said that I could not uninstall because Adobe Bridge was running. It was not, but I restarted my computer anyhow . . . same problem. Called tech support (I knew better)to see what they had to say and they suggested I try the forums, so here I am. Does anybody have any suggestions? I do not like CS4. I would rather upgrade to CS3 and call it good enough. Does anybody know How I can get CS3 . . .
Photoshop :: My Photshop Turned Weird!
Jun 1, 2004i accidentally pressed some keys and my whole "art board" turned to an annoying bright blue color. It is originally the gray part outside of the painting area.
I cant seem to find anything in the general settings that will change it back to gray. if you know how to change it back,
VideoStudio :: Sound On Clip But No Sound On Project?
Oct 26, 2010Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.

Aug 26, 2012I have installed a trial version of Photoshop CS6 and am editing video. When I open short videos to edit the sound on the original video plays fine but when I open a larger video (1 hr) the sound does not play. I have played with the mute button to no avail. Sound is fine on the original file. Is this a limitation of the trial version or a bug or some mistake I am making?

Nov 11, 2012how to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.I am choosing the quick time format however the option for sound is always grayed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.

Sep 8, 2013I want to use Photoshop CS6 ( all updates installed ) for editing my videos captured by the Panasonic GH2 camera. I tried all ways of opening the video0001.mts file known to me ( pressing the + symbol, pressing the little film symbol, open as layers ) , and the video itself is shown and played in PS, but the the sound is switched to off and cannot be switched on.
Is there any special setting required or will I have toinstall a special codec for these files ? As the camera is pretty old, I thought for a full compatibility with CS6.

The videos play fine in VLC 2.0.1, windows media player, GSpot 2.70a (in thumbnail window). An ancient Nero showtime even sort of plays the video (choppy and partially mangled), but the audio is fine. VLC and WMP play smoothly at full screen, 2560x1600.
In PS, there is no audio. Both microphone icons have sound waves emanating and I have tried all 4 combinations of mute and play.
I can edit and save them to h.264, high quality, 1920x1080, 59.94 fps, progressive *.mp4 file. The video plays on the other players, but again there is no sound.
GSpot shows LAV splitter -> ffdshow addio decoder -> ac3filter -> default directSound device (see details below)
When playing in PS, the video is choppy. It will play for ~1/2 second and then stutter. Searching for a suitable group with key words (photoshop cs6 avchd video no sound)yields 505 groups. Looks like any group to have ever had cs6 in a thread.
It can't be a codec problem if every other video product I have plays the files. It is certainly not a hardware limitation. It looks like a PS bug.

Photoshop :: Which Sound File Format (Speech) For CS6 Video
May 14, 2013 i edit video tutorials in Photoshop CS6. The voice is on its own mono audio track. The voice track will be cut multiple times within Photoshop to adapt to the ongoings in the video. After editing the audio track in Audacity (or sometimes Audition) i wonder which file format i should use for the audio – so that i can import it and easily cut it in Photoshop CS6.
I used MP3 192 kBit, but it seems that sometimes i cannot exactly mark the millisecond where i want to cut. The marker bar jumps around and I get uncontrollable results. Of course this can be a general cache problem, but i wonder if there is a certain audio file format that's best to edit (file can be uncompressed and large). I do make long pauses in speech in order to get more easily cuttable tracks.
If i use MP3, is VBR more difficult to edit? Should it be another file format altogether? Photoshop CS6 imports these audio file formats:
AAC, M2A, M4A, MP2, MP3, WMA, WM,
some of which can't be written with the audio softwares i use.

1. The sound slider has no effect. The music does not dip when there is narration on a slide. Can this be solved?
2. I cannot burn the slideshow. Trying in Photoshop (trying a CD as well as DVD) it will not burn. The CD seemed to burn, but there was nothing on the disc when it said it was completed. Trying on the DVD it put me into Premiere Elements 10. It showed the soundtrack but not the pictures. During the burn the disc came out before burning had finished. Another time it completed the burn but there was nothing on the disc. sometimes the unknown error 2131042560 was quoted.
