Jun 25, 2006I tried to put pics on forum but my files are 1MB jpeg. How do I get the pictures to upload under requirements?

Sep 25, 2007First one TBH looks kinda crappy because someone had a heavy finger while he was masking this. But how the piece of background on the right was made? Some grunge brush + masking or it's just a filter/effect?

For example: If I download pics from my camera how do I change them all. Also, does anyone know how to make a folder name and it automatically updates all your .jpg file names for you? For example, a folder could be Jack's 21st and all pics become jack's21st001.jp jack's21st002.jpg etc.

Nov 27, 2006Quick question if I may, I was trying to make a Sig for another forum and was wondering... How do I keep the background (outer edges) transparent instead of having a boxed in look. GIF doesnt seem to work, it stays white but im guessing im doing something wrong? I'm decent with photoshop btw, just not so hot on web posting. You can get technical if needed.

Jan 11, 2009I started a thread on Windows/ Photoshop entitled "CS4 with a high resolution screen". People have replied to this, according to e-mail direct response. However, it is not on the list of forums, and neither does it appear on 'search'.
To repeat: we have a high resolution HP LP 3065 screen, which supports up to 2560 x 1600 pixels. At this resolution, images are still less than print size, but CS4 is essentially unusable because the menu text and other icons do not scale. Does anyone know if it is possible to manage this silly interface to allow the user to see what they are doing? Is there even a visual disability option? Even MS Office 2000 - ten years old - allows "large icons".
Photoshop Elements :: Large Block Of Photos Suddenly Missing?
May 10, 2013Elements 7. Without my opening, moving, renaming or otherwise molesting them, 2/3s of the photos in one of my two catalogs have suddenly gone missing. I have exhausted all the trouble shooting info I can find online and have tried the reconnecting procedures, optimized the catalog, repaired the catalog, rebuilt the thumbnails and uninstalled and reinstalled elements 7 all to no avail. The missing files, a mix of jpeg and nef totaling 272, are grouped in one block starting from the first photos I ever downloaded two years ago except for one which is a recent download. Elements 7 win xp 1G ram.

GIMP :: Creating Collage Image With Numerous Large Photos - Lossless Scaling
Dec 13, 2013I want to create a collage image with numerous large photos, each in it's own layer during editing. In order to fit, all the images need to be scaled down to varying degrees, but when I'm starting out, I'm not sure what scale each image will need to be. With the default, if I shrink them too much then they get pixellated when I try to enlarge them again. Is there a way of enabling gimp to scale each image, but drop this version and reuse the original data on future scale operations (ie a "lossless" scaling operation)?
Currently I'm having to essentially create the collage twice - first time various shrink and expands til all images fit together, then start again but just rescale once to the required size.
I presume I'm correct in thinking there's no record function in GIMP yet, so I can't record my actions to GIMP then just delete redundant steps and replay...

With all the sort and search functionality, I don't understand the benefit of albums.I name my image folders using a standard naming convention with the date embedded so it makes them rather easy to manage.

When I attempt to sync photos in iTunes (to synch with my iPhone), Photoshop Elements appears in the drop down and when I select it, it finds all the "albums" in the catalog. However, when I select an album to sync, iTunes indicates 0 photos are available in the album.
I'm running photoshop elements 11, iTunes 11.0.1.12, Windows 8 Pro.
if I try to sync "all photos and albums" it still reports that there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've tried to make new albums, which iTunes "sees" the names, but there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've also tried to sync with a folder (file system) which works just fine.

The photo that it puts on the top should actually be the right-most photo in the pano. I tried photo merging the exact same three photos with a darker exposure, and it turned out perfectly.
