I have about 20 images that I was trying to Burn in a DVD but , I ended up getting CR2 Alias files with an arrow at the bottom left corner.
I want to open the images either in Photoshop CS6 or in Light Room 4 or in Bridge. How to open the images in jpg. or in RAW.
I created a custom calibration in dng profile editor. I saved in both the global library and user don't see it showing up in light room calibration drop down only the built in stuff'
View 2 Replies View RelatedOne thing I noticed is that with CS5, when I choose Browse in Mini Bridge while in Photoshop, Bridge opens in the background. In CS6 when I browse in Mini Bridge, regular Bridge does not open, although I can open Bridge directly from Photoshop. The other strange thing is that I can open Camera Raw from mini Bridge, just not from regular Bridge. I get the same message as others get, that Bridge's parent application is not active and that I must launch a qualifying product at least once in order to open Camera Raw. I searched all the files I downloaded and installed for "trial" but nothing came up.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI am not able to see or open Raw files from my Canon 40D in either Photoshop CS3 or Bridge CS3. At first I was able to open RAWS in Photoshop and then I followed directions on the internet at how to manually replace a Camera Raw Plugin so I could open it in Bridge and now neither of the apps work with RAW. In photoshop It says that the file is not supported.
I looked up what plug in I needed and it said 4.2 for a Canon 40 D. I also followed the instructions in the read me file that was with the plugin download. No results from it. I even tried to switch it back to the old plug in to see if I could atleast get back the capiblility of opening it in Photoshop even though bridge was not working...still can't open it in either. What am I missing?
I have a Canon 5D Mk lll/Photoshop & Bridge CS6/Camera Raw 7.1 and I still can't open the CR2 files on my Canon.

So, I tried o uninstall, it would not work.
I went to control panel and program uninstall ... it would not work.
I tried to reinstall and I get the message "Error 1714 The ollder version of Lightroom cannnot be removed. COntact your technical group.
Converting a RAF Raw from Fujis X-E1 or X-Pro1 cameras will result in a harsh blurry JPG. The inCamera-Raw-Conversation or the RAW-Converting from Fujis delivered software results are much much better.
I know, even with Canons or Nikons LR4 does sometimes a better or a worse job than the dedicated converters, but with the new Fujifilm Cameras it is unusable.
Adobe may know the problem, because well known camera reviewer like dpreview stated there point on this topic already in their reviews. Also Fujifilm itself told me they reported the issues to Adobe.
My question here is, what is the current status? The new 7.3 or rather LR 4.3 do not give any improvements on this problem. Which is very disappointing, especially for early X-Pro1 owners.
I need to upgrade my graphics card. Question can either Photoshop CS5 or Light room 5 utilize double precision capable GPUs?
Background: Application- photographic RAW files editing (no video editing.) Software- Photoshop version CS5 and Light room version 4, OS- windows 7 64bit, Hardware- Asus P8P67 Deluxe LGA 1155, Intel Core i5 2400 processor, 16GB SDRAM, SSD (apps/temp files), HD (archives), current video card- Quatro FX 1500.
Whenever I try to open the Brushes panel, the Bridge window pops up. I know that Bridge is a media manager, so I'm not sure why is it opening. I really need to edit the brushes and I can't find a way to do it. Is there a way to disable bridge or another way to open the brushes panel that won't open bridge?

The next issue is getting the room area parameter to show up in the available fields. It is funny b/c Volume shows up but not the room area. How hard could that have to been to add that to the available list since volume is there.

My question is though, How can i get it so that the source of the rays is off screen yet fills the screen with its rays? Because the more you drag the source light off screen, the more it makes a cone chape of light. Also, i wanted to know how i can make the rays coming at me when im facing the camera. I have a shot where im looking at the camera and i want it to look like i'm looking into the light rays and i'm also surrounded by it.

I do not understand what this means. The file that I tried to open wasn't a big file. I tried to make a new illustrator but it pop up same message by the way, my computer is not mac. I'm using windows 7

I am having an issue when I use the "Place in Photoshop" command from within Bridge CC, it is skipping the Camera Raw Dialog box and not behaving like a normal smart object. This has been my workflow for years and suddenly it's not working in CC.
