Photoshop :: CS4 Wont Start After First...
Jun 29, 2009I have installed photoshop cs4 and when i start it, the terms of service comes up. I accept and it then goes and photoshop wont start up. I have had it installed on my pc before, I did a clean install but when i installed photoshop it just wouldn't get past the tos.

Dec 8, 2008I am trying to run photo shop during the busy greeting card season. ( almost all of our cards are done on photo shop) Yesterday I tried to start it up and it will load but as soon as it is supposed to switch to the main page the window goes away all together. I am wondering how I can fix this.

Unable to start application (0xc000007b).
I already tried several fixes like:
1. reinstall all redist(x64 & x86).
2. reinstall .Net 4.0
3. Use CCleaner for Registry error.
4. chckdsk for error and fix.still error so I've gone through this.
5. I uninstall Autocad 2014 completely, uninstall it manually one by one,deleted left over folder of autodesk or similar software to it, deleted its registry keys.just like the instruction on how to remove autocad completely in autodesk, I just followed it all. [after Reboot]
6 I Re-install it and still the problem persist.
Illustrator :: CS5 Doesn't Start From New SSD Disc
Jan 20, 2014I have recently exchanged my HDD with a new SSD disc on a Macbook Pro running Mavericks. I have put an image of my original disc on the SSD and after installation everything runs fine as it should, except of Illustrator CS5, which doesn't even start up.I get the following error:
Adobe Illustrator cannot be opened because of a problem.Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Illustrator works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.

If I actually plug in my old HDD as USB disc and start CS5 there, it runs no problem. Hence it doesn't seem to be a problem of the OS (anyway, it worked fine before changing the discs).The detailed crash report follows:

Illustrator :: CC 17.1.0 Won’t Start On Mavericks 10.9.1
Feb 3, 2014No plugin installed. Tried deleting the preferences several times. Installed latest wacom driver. Reinstalled two times Illustrator. Signed in and out of Creative Cloud. Verdana and Tahoma are installed.

Sep 18, 2012I have a client that installed CS6 Productiom Premium with a volume license on multiple Mac Pros and is saying that Illustrator hangs upon launch, meaning, it will take 1-2 minutes to launch the program. Out of all the computers he has installed the software with, one does not have an issue with start-up and launches almost immediately. He is currently looking on his end what is different on that machine compared to the others.

I have walked him through the steps in deleting his Font cache and resetting his preferences and he still reports a hang-up on launch.

He has Mac Pros with Lion on them.

Feb 16, 2013I just got photoshop recently on my new computer, on which I have never installed photoshop before. When I decided to use it for the first time, I started with the text tool, but found when I dragged the box area I wanted, I could not type inside it.
So I went troubleshooting, and no matter what I did the text stubbornly would not show itself. I have deleted and reinstalled fonts. Redownloaded photoshop. Reset preferences.

Mar 6, 2006I have tried every way possible. The short cut, photos, and psd. files and nothing. So I thought, maybe I should uninstall it and reinstall it. Nope! And I even ran Ccleaner, disk clean up and a rgistry cleaner/fixer uper and restarted before reinstalling. It will start to load and then it just drops off with no error message. Not sure what else to try. I have 91% empty space on a 250MB hard drive and more than enough memory so I dont think this is an issue. I havnt made any changes or installed anything that may have caused an issue.

I can paste anything but now when I select images from my layers, there is no option like COPY available in the EDIT tab. Some others seem to be missing to, such as FADE. My PC is definetly capable of running the program as it was for already a week perfectly.

I've tried saving the a color group as .ase but when I try and open my user defined swatch library, it's not clickable. That's a workaround for what I want anyway. It seems like there used to be an option called "persistent" in older versions but how do I get my colors to automatically appear when I'm using CC?
