how do you add images over other images say i have a tripod and i take 5 different pics while keeping the camera pointed at the EXACT same spot i wanna be able to like stand at the table wearing one thing like reading Sit down with something different on and say im eating..

For example: One project contains 100 A3 drawing, one layout contains 20 A3 drawing. Up to now, i print to pdf separately, and i combined the 100 pdf in one file.
And i print from this file. (only in this way succeed to print collating multiple copies). But if the project changes, I could start all over again. Is there a solution to publish an combining the sheets to print immediately?

View 9 Replies View RelatedHi, I am starting a new business making art prints for artists. I have purchased this huge printer ... just got it. I've been studying photoshop for months using "classroom in a book" and am finding out that I've probably studied the wrong thing.
I have three questions and thanks in advance for any of your expertise.
1. I successfully printed out a two foot by two foot photo I took of my husband with my 8.2 megapixel camera. Then, tried to print out another photo.... used the same photoshop settings, but the print was 6 inches by 6 inches...... I did notice that the second print was only 16. %... I wondered if that caused the difference in size? How do I set that to 100 % if that is what is needed?
2. I want to print out multiple small prints using this big paper and printer... I want to tile these various prints (all different) along the top making rows... I want them to be all different. I called Epson support and they said I could do that in photoshop. Do I use the browser?
3. I have a wide format scanner. It does up to 11 x 17 inches. If I have something larger to scan, let's say, I scan the bottom of the image and then scan the top of the image, how do I put them together?
I've been having problems selecting images in the library module when multiple images are in view (not down in the timeline, but in the main window). It seems sporadic with which ones it won't let me select, it somehow manages to be the ones that I need to click....!! I just literally can't click it as if it were an image I already imported or something, but it's not grayed out like that. I've been having to select a nearby image then use my arrow keys to navigate to and click the image I need.

For instance if I select 10 images to view in the survey mode to compare and select 1 to be flagged as rejected all 10 will be flagged rejected, not just the one. Is there a way to turn this off to select a group of images and flag each differently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Creative Suite 5.5 on my MacBook Pro...and today had issues demonstrating the simple process of dragging one person/image onto another, applying a quick mask to do some simple morphing.
But...one, I couldn't drag the image from the internet and drop onto the project, but had to go to Edit and copy, then create a new file and hit paste. Placing one image side by side to another...I was not able to drag the image of one person to drop onto the other. I either had to use the marquee tool, drag around the image, copy and paste or...found I could drag the image from its layer in the layer's palette and drop onto the project.
More frustrating was that once I had both images in the same project, I was not able to move the new person/image added to locate in right position over the background person/image. I would drag it to that new location, and it would snap back to the original location. Obviously the need to take any image added and move it around to orchestrate your image is important.
I have asked a number of artist friends, checked the mode (both images are RGB) and both images at 8 bits...
I presume it is a simple command that will release the image to stay where located using the Move tool...but am not familiar enough with Suite 5.5 obviously.
I'm trying to merge select layers to send my file to a publisher, but the drawing layer which is set to multiply loses its transparency when I combine layers (the original white behind the image shows). If I flatten the entire file, it works, but I can't do that in this situation.

Example:
I create 3 squares, vector shapes, i cmd+E the layers to combine them, and then i want to enlarge the new shape..what happens is, only 1 square becomes larger..
I somehow merged two layers together and locked it? I don't know how to undo what I did?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am in the middle of an upgrade from 2009 to 2012 and have a styles use question. I am running three flavors of Inventor: Inventor, Inventor Professional, Inventor Factory (based on Pro). The styles library that I am starting with was migrated from 2009 to 2012 and was running both IV series and Pro Seats. Although no real Pro functionality was ever used so any associated styles were still as delivered for the most part. My working environment is a single Vault project setup where all the styles and libraries are local copies on each workstations drive. All the standard content (styles and libraries) stay checked out to myself on my machine for protection.
So here is what I did to make an all inclusive styles library that all flavors of products will use. pick this apart if you see something wrong with the method.
1) I started with the migrated styles library from 2009
2) As I installed the different flavors I copied the new styles libraries over the existing migrated one without allowing it to "overwrite" any existing styles files. This only populated the styles libraries with any thing I was missing from any of the flavors.
3) I use this combined library on all station regardless of the flavor installed. So some stations have styles on them that are not in use by the installed software.
I have been combining several Lightroom catalalogs into one using "Import from Catalog" from the Master Cat, and the process has worked smoothly for the most part. The one problem I am running into is that changes I made in the develop module in previous libraries before they were imported into the Master Catalog show changes in the develop module, but not in history, making it impossible to go back to the original image, or to track changes made in my previous smaller libraries. I often use Lightroom while traveling so that I can organize and touch up on the go, but when I return home I want to be able to combine these photos and edit them seamlessly, and this isa giant hiccup in my workflow.

I can run the volumes and create a comparison surface. I have about 200 PNG's that I need to slice exactly the same way. I know how to slice one image. I'd like to automate slicing all 200 with the same slice positions, sizes and settings.
This is not for web design but rather for iOS game development where I need to cut-up a sequence of images representing an animated sequence into the individual pieces that need to be animated.
For my work, I use a microscope that scans a slide to take an image. It takes around 20 photos and creates a single image, but each one is still clearly visible as an individual image within the overall one, due to shadowing etc. and imperfect alignment of the images. Is there a way to correct this across the whole image, at least to remove the shadowing if not the alignment?
