I have been recently and reluctantly put in a graphics position for large format printing. a customer sent a job in an e-mail, and called to say he wanted the text a different color. For the life of me I can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible? it's an eps file that has some graphics, but mostly text.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn LR 3.6 I worked with panoramas imported as 16bit TIFs from PTGui which, at their margin, are transparent. These transparent areas were initially marked white in LR 3.6. and, most importantly, it was readily possible to modify these areas with the brush or repair tools in LR. After updating to LR5 and importing my LR 3.6 libraries I realised that all of the retouche and modified transparent areas are white again and all the retouch I did is gone, where by e.g. the circles indicating where I used the repair tool are still in place.
How can I retrieve and retain the modifications I made in LR 3.6?
How can I turn transparent areas in TIFs within LR into areas I can modify?
I am using Photoshop Elements 10 Version 10 (20110831.m.17215) and everytime I plug in a memory card to upload images it wants to upload every image on the card, even though it has previously uploaded images from that card, even though I have the "Copy New Files Only (Ignore Already Imported Files)" box ticked in the preferences Camera or Card Reader section. This gets very frustrating and time consuming when I have to go through the images every single time to uncheck the images that have already been uploaded.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to write an AutoLISP script to read an .xlsx file and use the data in the various cells to modify a block within a .dwg?
Ex.: We use Flow Control Modules (FCMs) and use AutoCAD Electrical to show electrical contractors where/how to wire up the devices. In AutoCAD, we have blocks for various types of FCMs, and each block has terminals which are tagged DESCA1, DESCA2, DESCA3, etc. Each of these tags will change based on what the particular FCM is used for.
We also have .xls(x) files we call FCM Maps, which come from our engineers and tell the drafters how to lay out the .dwg files.
Is it possible to write a LISP script to take, say, cell A1 from the .xlsx file, and put that data into DESCA2 in the block, cell A2 into DESCA3, and so on?
I'm trying to import a couple of models from the google warehouse into Photoshop CS5 extended.
They open without an error, but aren't visible.

I've also stepped through the parts of the model in the 3d palette looking for elements that have the opacity set incorrectly, but they all seem to be set to 100%.
I see the kb article is from january 2011; Is there a newer version of that script
This message comes up when I try to import to light room. A box comes up that says "Import Results" then the error message shows with a group of file numbers that wouldn't import.

Elements Organizer 10 started misplacing all the Imported Files in the folder above at some point.
In Folder Location view (under Display) I right click folder B and chose Import to Elements Organizer. Once the Import is finished, all photos but one are under folder A instead... needless to say my catalog now looks very messy because photos show in folders with different names. In Finder they appear in the right place, and even the File Properties in Elements show the correct location. Just not the Folders.
I have about 20k files imported in my catalogue, this started happening recently and affects only files imported in certain external drives or partitions.I tried the repairs, optimizations, reconnects etc. for the catalogue, looked for updates and restarted the software many times now.
I reinstalled photoshop elements 11, and can not delete all the files and photos in elements 11-organizer that I imported, How do I start over?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe files are Mpeg4..I just upgraded some PSE 11 catalogs to PSE 12 and all functions and tags imported fine. When I import video only into PSE12 organizer, it will not generate a thumbnail image. I imported the same files into the old catalog using PSE11 and the thumbnails will be created. I have even gone a step further and converted the PSE11 catalog after imports were made, and PSE12 will now have the thumbnails. Eventually PSE11 is going to have to be uninstalled.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have LR loaded on my MacBook Pro and everything was alright in terms of LR operation. I use a 5D MKII camera and always shoot in RAW (CR2). I always download images from the Card to the HDD and then import it to LR. However, CR2 Raw files are not getting imported and I am getting the following error message - "The files appear to be unsupported or damaged".
I can still import other files like .tiff and .jpg files.
if there is a log or register of files that have been imported into a drawing. I'm currently importing landxml files alot and sometimes would like to confirm which files were imported. I can start my own register but wondered if c3d is doing it already?

I'm having to select in Pshop the area that I want to export as AI file but when I get it into Max when I want a 1' outline it goes completely out of the area. if I enter .0125" in outline I get about a 20' outline!
What am I doing wrong? How can I convert the spline's scale to work properly with 'Outline'?
After importing folders into LR, are there any issues with going into those folders and moving out .png, .gif, .pdf and other files that LR does not import?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently had a number of old transparencies scanned at a local service bureau and delivered as jpegs on disc. The images import just fine into Lightroom from the disc, but when I try to rename them, I get a dialogue box telling me I can't rename them "...because they are missing or not writable." Thinking, perhaps, that Lightroom was somehow trying unsuccessfully to rename them on the source disc, I tried downloading them to my computer first, ejecting the disc, then importing them into Lightroom. Same result. What am I doing wrong? How do I rename these images?

Have tried unchecking the 'dont import duplicates' and have trried multiple times, but for some reason it only registers 4995 images. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using LR 4 on a Mac.I've been an LR user for three years.I few days ago I imported 500+ images from a folder in Apple Finder into LR.The import was successful because I deleted a few photos and made adjustments to a few right after finishing the import.
Today I went back into LR to continue working on the remaining images and the folder I imported them into is not visible.When I search using a filename and Find under Library in LR, I'm told that no Photos match.Trying to re-import the images results in a message that the photos are already in LR!
I am using Corel VS X5. I have created MPEG4 files using Adobe Captivate and imported them into Corel. When I preview them, if I select Clip, the video looks fine. But if I preview the Project, the video is blurred. I first thought it might be caused by Smart Proxy but after disabling that feature, the problem persisted. I tried publishing the project to see if the final version would be ok. Still no luck. I tried the online chat and they suggested updating my viewers. I did as instructed and restarted my PC. Still no luck. My imported MPEG4 file is 1024x767 HD.

Just try to enter some graphical text using two different (uncommon) fonts... Export as SVG and re-import the file as a new document into CorelDRAW...
@ Corel: Either drop the SVG format from your import/export formats drop down box or get the standard correctly implemented.

I have imported an .igs and would like to use it on my assembly.
Step that I created.
1. DL an igs files, then open it in Inventor 2012 Product Suite.
2. Save as .ipt,
3. Create a new .ipt and then DERIVED the save .ipt, change scale to 25.4
4. Save the part
5. Open .idw and place the part you just save.
Result: Notice that nothing is visible. WHY?
Importing excel files into AutoCAD drawings works nicely but the print is unreadable in some areas of the page. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to how the plot will turn out.

When I plug in my Nikon D7000 and try to import photos, I just get a message "The following files could not be imported because they could not be read". Then it lists the file names of the various files. Message displays regardless if I try .NEF or .JPEG files. The photos appear in the library module, so I know Lr is pulling them from the correct place (camera). When I plug the camera into my desktop PC where I also have Lr installed, all works fine.
View 1 Replies View Relatedif I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.
Lightroom stores all my imported files by date and I cannot get it to recognize them by name.
