Jun 18, 2013With the plugins I have with CS6, do I just copy them from the cs6 folders and put them in the CC folders, or do I have to install from scratch?

Jul 26, 2013I'm running PS CS55.1 on Windows 7. I thought I was running in 64bit mode, but when PS starts up, it says Versiion 12.1 x32.I downloaded the plug in, but it's not showing up.
In my C folder, there's Program Files >... >Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64), and there's Program Files (x86) > ... > Adobe Photoshop CS5.1. I went into both, and put in the plug-in and the preset (layouts). I shut down PS and opened it up, and no Contact Sheet II.

Nov 1, 2013In Photoshop CC I get the following message "Photoshop can not find the Javascript Plug-in" when I use File>scripts>load files into stacks. In CS6 file>scripts works normally and I don't get this error message.

Jan 14, 2013I have a new 15" macbook pro, and have the set requirements to run Photoshop CS6 even after the recent updates. However, I still cannot access the "Filter Gallery", and when I went to find the so called "Filter Gallery" plugin folder--what do you know that plugin is missing all together.
I've already done the Preferences, show all plugins, etc... deal and this is not the issue here. My Filter Plugin is missing all together, and my macbook pro was purchased brand new from the Mac store, 3-4 months ago.
I have been a paying Adobe Creative Cloud member since day one, when it first became available, and now I'm over the top upset over this problem! How can I fix this missing plugin?

Oct 3, 2012I recently installed Mountain Lion on my imac. It proved to be a nuisance so I formatted the drive and reinstalled Snow Leopard. I copied the applications folder from a backup to the Snow Leopard drive. I reinstalled CS6. On each load I now get the message:
"One or more files in the Adobe Application Support Folder are missing."
I'm then told to reinstall CS6. I've done it twice with no progress.

Jan 19, 2012I recently installed the Building Design Suite. All installations and plugins were labeled as 'Install successful' (I have rechecked all installations for errors).
I am having trouble using the Sketchbook Plugin for AutoCAD. The 'SketchBook Designer' tab and it's content appears and works. When I create a 'New Canvas' the canvas appears on the screen, but the 'Create Canvas' tab does not sequentially appear. All of the settings do not appear and I cannot apply the canvas, hence I do not have any access to the SketchBook features.

Jun 19, 2012I just moved several folders from a corporate shoot into a new folder, all done within latest version of LR4. One of the folders containing 1124 raw photos from a corporate shoot is now labeled as missing after an error message during the move (didn't write down the exact message). The folder and its pictures are nowhere to be found now! System-wide search comes up with no result. WHERE ARE MY PHOTOS?

Feb 26, 2013I have checked the invisible files rebuilt the desktop, restarted loaded a back up from different drive - photos are in place but the lightroom folder is gone.
Yet the drive in question space, has not changed still full. I'm loosing a lot of work two three full days between backups had added a lot of new material.
my main question is How can I free up the 86 gigs of space this 'missing folder' is still taking up..sucks I'm seroius never seen this before.,228000 images were organized in that folder I had done a lot of work and was having issues generating previews due to space on drive was clearing space opptimized then did a 'get info' on the lightroom master folder just moments before lightroom crashed for third time today. Poof entire master catalog folder gone. Main drive size exactly the same.Seems isolated to lightroom..all aspects of my mac are fine.
Is there a file limit, folder implosion feature? I'm current and purchased just to do this organization.

However, they're not! I can see them in the folders on an external drive where Lightroom says they are not. When I try to reimport them, Lightroom says they are already there, doubly confusing?!

Dec 27, 2012moved from PC to Mac by external hard drive. Remapped path to images. Everything is fine but when I do the folder sync command it shows me 100 % of my images as missing and the same amount as new files. There are no explanition marks in the tree view and this is the only indicator that something is wrong.
On the PC everything is fine. If I click on show file in finder for a picture finder opens with the correct file marked.
So I wonder whether I can trust that folder sync feature?

Apr 2, 2013I just noticed that some of my photos are missing from the library in lightroom, specifically the original versions of photos that have virtual copies edited in photoshop in folders that have since been synchronized. Weird, and very anoying. The files are still there (in wondows explorer) but when I try to re-import them lightroom doesn't see them, only the PS edited copies (.tif files). I told lightroom to allow duplicates and it sees all the photos in the folder except those missing ones. This does not happen to my PS edited virtual copies in folders that have not been synchronized. It is not a matter of stacking, or at least Lightroom does not think the PS copies are stacked at all so I can't unstack them. How to get them back into lightroom (preferably with the accompanying development settings) and also how to avoid this problem in the future.
PS: I import files from my camcorder using a different program because lightroom does not acknowledge that particular video file format. That's why I have to synchronize some folders and not others.

Aug 17, 2013I just finished importing my photos to Elements, and was going to add the folder I keep them in to my watched folders, to keep them up to date. Since everything imported just fine, I was surprised to find that I got the following error when trying to add the folder:
The Watch Folder service returned an error: Access is denied.
I looked around the site using search and Google, and found a few other occurences of this error, but they all only show answers that apply to network shares. The folder I am trying to watch is not a network drive that I have to use a \serverfolder format to access, as the folder is located on my hard drive under C:UsersusernameGoogle DrivePictures.

When I look at Windows folders my system is as it was so the two don't match any more. Aug 22, 2012Not sure if it's a bug or not but when removing a whole project the "random" folder(s) are still in the Media Storage folder. Everything connected to the project(s) are gone but not the random folder smoke creates when creating project files. Any specific reason their still in the Media Storage folder?
Im a bit of a neat-freak... After removing a whole project, is it safe to remove all the empty folders? Or would that cause problems for other projects?

It seems to default to MyCatalog but leaves the location on the CD rather than copying it to the drive. If I remove the CD the images is reported as missing.
When I go to the top of the screen for importing I can change the source but the location info on the right is not active or changeable.I am new to lightroom and coming from Photoshop Elements background.

Feb 24, 2014I was in the process of moving a folder inside or LR. I might have clicked and moved it twice since it was very slow. LR wasn't able to complete the move and gave me an error message. After I clicked "OK" on the error message, I wasn't able to find my folder/images from the old or new location. I did a spotlight search on my mac, but I wasn't able to find them anywhere. Where has my folder/images gone? I tried to locate them without any success.
