Jul 5, 2012How to nicely edit the photo of Jack running from the Indians/tribes people?
I would like for Jack's face to remain as is, maybe even the whole head, but his body be changed to a running Spy (from Team Fortress 2) and the tribes people in the back ground to be changed to Pyros (from Team Fortress 2).
prefer the editor to know what Team Fortress 2 is (or better yet, have played it) for it will make the job THAT much easier. If not though, you can simply google the two characters and you'll get plenty of results or I can attach them to another post if necessary.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Scissor Jack Assembly Design 3
Mar 26, 2012I am working on a design at the moment using Inventor 2012.It is a Scissor Jack. It has been designed to specific dimensions.Although I am making up the majority of them as I go along.Dim's spec's of which I must design to are as follows,
Max Height @ Open position = 250mm. (must be kept)
Min Height @ Closed position = 70mm. (must be kept)
Max width = 75mm. (must be kept)
The rest I have been taking from other designs of which I saw during my investigation.I have been modelling in such a way trying to adapt the open & closed position limitations with the use of constraints as my maximum & minimum limits. In doing so I have set a Drive Constraint so I can show the jack in its mechanical motion. I don't mind making any changes that will work to achieve completing it to act as it should. I believe there is still some tweaking to be done to it, but I feel the actual engineering design to be almost sound. There is an issue with the base via support arms. I cannot have the support arms moving past the floor level.
I will need to place location pins through the saddle & base connecting the arms. Finally If possible alter the gear teeth so that they interlink & coincide with each other. My screw rod also needs to work properly & turn also the nut needs to be localised in the correct position fixed on the screw rod at the end of the Side sleeve.

Sep 16, 2013I'm trying to make a view showing a motor-jackscrew unit with the jackscrew at the fully retracted position and also with the jackscrew at the fully extended position (in phantom). Refer to the attachment.
My initial plan was to have two views in the drawing, one retracted and one extended, and then just align them vertically and horizontally. But it turns out that you can only align vertically OR horizontally, not both at the same time. So I created an assembly of two iAssemblies, one with the screw extended and one retracted. Then I made the drawing view from the direction that placed the extended assembly directly behind the retracted assembly.

Sep 6, 2012C3D 2013. We have profile line labels, some of which get manually edited (for example, change the "<[Tangent grade(FP|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|SD|OF)]>" to a static number such as 0.29%).
However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?

I have try the stamp toll in colot mode, selecting the area with lazo tool and aplying a color gradient and taking the white out of the red with seelctive color. The best result I get is with the stamp tool in normal mode however it distorts teh pattern on hte fabric. how to obscure the label?

Mar 13, 2006I have created a CD label design in photoshop.
My boss gave me some CD label stickers to print them on.
The stickers look like this:
8mm margin from edges of circle outward.
1 inch space between two CD's.
Paper size: 5.25x10.25 inches
No problem with the design coz I got the size right, 11.5cm in diameter.
The thing is, whats the best way to print my design so it gets printed right smack on the peel off circles on the sticker paper? By the way, im using an ordinary desktop inkjet printer.

However when I try myself, I obtain an enormous 3D cylinder with my label glued on it and once I reduce the size of the cylinder to the desired size, my label is minuscule. Additionally, it takes me ages to rotate/scale the cylinder in the right way.
Why is the 3D cylinder provided by Photoshop so enormous ?

Nov 24, 2012I have been using Bridge for years and when in "Filmstrip," the file name and rating ( 1star, 2 star...) were underneath the thumbnail. But all of a sudden the words "Camera Raw image" began appearing underneath the thumbnail. So now beneath the thumbnail it says:

Photoshop :: Soda Can Label Template?
Apr 25, 2009Does anyone happen to know where I can find a template to create a label for a soda can? Specifically the size of a Red Bull can (I don't have one in front of me so I don't know it's exact size, but it's taller and more skinny than a standard can.) I've been looking around for a while now and haven't been able to find one. I can find several templates to create the actual cans, like as an image for a website or whatever, but nothing that I can actually print out and stick onto an actual can.

Nov 1, 2013I've figured out how to wrap a label around a cylinder using a 3D Photoshop layer but what I can't figure out is what ratio and size that label needs to be.
For example I have a cylinder and have loaded the texture from the Photoshop document into the Opacity section in the Properties tab but rather than it being in proportion with the cylinder it seems to stretch it. So have to edit the label document and squash the actual label, which I know is not the correct way of doing it.

Oct 20, 2008I use Bridge as my main photo organisation app. I rate my shots from 1-5 stars and then tend to double click on ones to edit them in PS. After saving the edited shot as a jpg with "_edited" added to the filename, I apply a label which is called 'Enhanced' and then apply a 'Original' label to the original jpg. This lets me immediately filter of my edited/enhanced shots in Bridge and locate the originals if I need them. It also makes the edited files stand out when looked at in a file view of Explorer etc .
Is there an action or script I can create so that when I've finished editing a jpg it will take the original file name, add "_edited", save it as quality 10, baseline optimised, then apply the 'Optimised' label to the new file and exit the original jpg without saving but with applying the 'Original" label?
