I just switch from Lightrooom 2 to Lightroom 5 and also to Photoshop CS-5. When ever I work on an image in Lightroom 5 and make changes and enhancements and when completed, I transfer the images into Photoshop CS-5, my Lightroom 5 changes are NOT transferred into PhotoshopSC-5, why?
I had no trouble with Lightroom 2 to Photoshop 4 but now it is not working.
Was instructed to use arch titleblock. I created my own shared parameters file. I can physically click on the sheet and name the sheet but the name doesnt change in the project browser,
So I created a shared parameters file. I created the parameters I needed (in this case the sheet title). The parameter properties discipline set to common, type set to text. I edited each label I wanted to re-associate. Hit new, selected the shared parameter, removed the arch label and added mine. I loaded into project and had it overwrite parameters. Then I went to the project parameters and added my shared parameters and under category applied to the sheets.
why the two (project browser and the sheet itslef arent talking?
it is possible to create the effect of people talking in a static picture.
In Adobe after effects I believe this is done by masking off the mouth, adding a second layer in that contains a video of someone's lips moving, and then blending the join between the two layer ... it is possible to create the same sort of effect in VS Pro X4.
Lightroom 3.3 just stopped working error says lightroom has stopped working and shuts down. installed photoshop CS3 is that the problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since I installed the full Nik suite, LR4's "Merge to HDR PRO in CS5" doesn't work. When I select it, CS5 opens but the files haven't been transfered. Before installing Nik, this worked great.
I can transfer the photo's manually by selecting all of them and using Edit in ...CS5 but that is less convenient, especially because afterwords I have import the result into LR4.
I emailed the same question to Nik and they emailed back boilerplate on how to get their HDR to work.
Elements will open but will not load picture from lightroom..using a new iMac... I have already change the preference to edit in elements 10 (in lightroom)but it still will not open image..
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt seems as though after updating to version 3.3, my "edit in photoshop" functionality has stopped working. When I choose this option, Photoshop will open, but Lightroom does not bring up a dialog for exporting the photo, nor do I see a progress bar in lightroom for exporting of the photo as I used to.
I can (and have) create a user preset for exporting to accomplish the same functionality
For more than two years I had no problems that were encountered using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2 (which was upgraded to Adobe PS Lightroom 3.6). Until last month I could not open my Lightroom v 3.6. with this message on the screen --- "Lightroom -- Opening Catlog Studio Session-003.JPG.lrcat"
To remove the cause which I believed was in the later version of Lightroom v 3.6, I uninstalled Lightroom v 3.6 and reinstalled the Lightroon v 3.2 from the DVD I purchased more than two years ago. I have the new Canon 5D Mark III, and I updated to Lightroom 4.1 so I can import the 5D3 RAW image into LR. But when I go to "Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS5" or "Merge to HDR Pro in PhotoShop", PS starts, but it doesn't load any files. I was assuming this is because the PS Camera Raw is out of date. So I downloaded the cameraraw6-7_r1_win_030612, but when try to install it, I get "Some updates failed to install. Update is not applicable".
View 7 Replies View RelatedA couple of weeks ago a weird problem has started ocurring. Photoshop stopped working as an external editor. When I click Edit in Photoshop, Photoshop opens and it seems like it's trying to open the image but then nothing happens. It only works when I export the image as a PSD and open it then. I think I have managed to narrow it down a little because when I click the .dng file in Finder, Photoshop tries to open the file and comes back with an error message saying "Der Vorgang konnte nicht ausgeführt werden, weil das Dateiformatmodul die Datei nicht interpretieren kann" which roughly translates to that the file can't be interpreted. I think there may be something wrong with how Lightroom converts DNG files because I can open older files fine. Funnily enough I can even open some (really just a small percentage) of the current .dngs when I can't open others. I tried reinstalling both Lightroom and Photoshop to no avail. It happens with both Photoshop CS6 and CC.

Suddenly when a raw image has been porcessed by the Develop Module the (ctrl-E) 'open in Photoshop' command does not work for that image. It works for images that have not been 'developed'.
I have deleted LR preferences several times.
I have upgraded to LR5.2RC and CR8.2RC.
As far as I remember this catalog was new as LR5.
The Alt key (while sharpening) is not revealing the black and white screen which indicates where sharpening changes are applied.
I have not noticed this in 4.2 so not sure if this is a just a 4.3 bug.
I've just upgraded to Lightroom 4 and find that I am unable to use NIK. Since I am relatively new to Lightroom, I feel like I've done something wrong.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have done some heavy editing on my RAW file with numerous Adjustments Brushes and Spot Removals. Now that I'm done I want to try making a Black And White version using the standard B&W conversion in LR 5.3. Here comes the strange part....the area that I have done all the editing in remains in color while the rest of the shot gets converted to B&W. In other words, LR 5.3 fails to convert to B&W on heavily edited areas!? As you can see in the image the top left area is blue wihle the rest of the image has been converted.

When setting up Elements as my editor for LR, I'm sure I chose the right folder for Elements. I also tried deleting and restoring the defaults and then setting up Elements again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use the adjustment brush by selecting the brush, the sliders shown for the brush change the complete photograph, which I do not want it to do. When I use the brush it makes changes. But, if I make a slider change that I want for the brush it actually changes the complete photograph. It has worked properly in the past. I was able to make a slider change and it would only make changes to the area the brush selected.

I reread all the threads concerning this issue and found none included a solution. Is there one or has this functionality been dismissed? LR 4.3 is running on Macs with OS 10.8.2 and 10.7.5.
What we are trying to do is shoot with 5D Mark IIs tethered with EOS Utility and 5D Mark IIIs tethered with Lightroom at the same time. We have not been succesful getting the Mark IIIs to tether at all. We are trying to avoid using Sneakerware through CF cards and readers. Workflow time is critical.
