Sep 11, 2013I have tried to use the online chat app and telephone to get a response, but have had no luck. I recently tried to reinstall Adobe CS4 on my computer after it crashed. I downloaded the version I had purchased from My Adobe and everything seemed fine. After running the Setup program it came back with a dialog box saying that the Installer Database was corrupt and that I should contact customer support.
I have since attempted to download it two more times, with Akamai and without. Both time with the same result.I was told when I finally reached a support person that this is the only vehicle for support of CS4.

Mar 6, 2013I'm trying to install a graphics tablet on my computer (Dell, Windows 64-bit), but for some reason it wasn't working with my Photoshop CS6 Extended. I was advised to uninstall Photoshop and then re-install in order to get the tablet to work with it. I have the Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium but I only uninstalled Photoshop Extended specifically.
Now that I'm going to re-install Photoshop, I'm unsure what to do. Do I download the trial version of Photoshop Extended and then put in my serial number? Or should I uninstall all of the Creative Suite and then re-install that?

Oct 27, 2008I bought Adobe CS2 a few years ago, but my computer died and I've been trying to put it on my new computer with Windows Vista.
Mainly, I'm just trying to get the Photoshop to work, but the other programs would be really nice as well.
Every time I try to start photoshop, this error message comes up: "Your Adobe Photoshop User name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit."

Mar 1, 2013I just installed Windows 8, and while it was very confusing I accidentally deleted all of my programs (I got confused with what the Reset Tab was) and when I went to go and install Photoshop Trial, it's telling me I need to update Adobe AIR because It's not available to my system.
I've installed it before, the only change was from Windows 7 to Windows 8, and I've seen other people with Windows 8 use Photoshop CS5?

Jul 15, 2013I'm having problems opening photoshop CS3 after a clean install. I have deactivated my CS3 product on my old computer, that run on windows XP. With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.

Photoshop :: Error Message While Installing Adobe Creative Suite 5.5
Feb 11, 2013I have a brand new Dell desktop that runs windows 8. I installed the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection and got a message saying that there were errors during installation and some things might not work properly. I uninstalled and did it a second time. Same message.
I then spoke with an Adobe agent who told me to download a program to detect what the errors were. He said they were minor issues and shouldn't affect the programs. I then spent hours today speaking with Dell on the phone and the rep took remote control of the computer and did a diagnostics check on the hardware. He said everything is fine. I asked him if it might be the video card needing an update so he ran an update. Same issues, no change.
We changed the compatibility to windows 7 and still no change. I then uninstalled the creative suite and tried installing it from the desktop. Still same problems. These are the issues in Photoshop:
1)When using certain tools (transform tool, crop tool) the images goes completely black.
2) The background switches at random- sometimes checkered, sometimes grey, and sometimes black.
3) Color saturation is incorrectly represented. It switches whenever it wants. For instance, when I zoom in and out it changes.
In Adobe Bridge some of the RAW images don't show in the program. Some I just can't open. Others open fine. Those images will open in Photoshop but not in Bridge.

May 22, 2013I did download the Adobe Photoshop CS6 trial, via the website I did go to the Download Manager. Now I have it installed, but i'm not sure if I have the extended or normal version. How can I check that?
And, if I don't have it.. The download manager does nothing say about the Extended version (trial of it), and at the Adobe website I can't find a way to download it.

Apr 10, 2013I'm trying to create a timeline wherein the camera rotates in a circle around a 3d Object that is located at the origin of the Ground Plane. I click 3d Camera in the Timeline to create my beginning keyframe, I drag the time slider to the end of the timeline, and I Rotate the camera view around the Z (vertical central) axis of the ground plane. I have the caps lock on so that the ground plane stays perfectly level as I rotate.)
As I am rotating the 3d Camera, the entire scene appears to rotate around the Z axis at the origin of the ground plane, which is what I want the animation to look like, but this is not the scene that plays back. When I play back the scene by clicking the play button or dragging the time slider, it rotates off-axis around some other center of rotation, with my 3d object often rotating out of the scene.

In Photoshop Elements 4 there is a selection brush, enabling you to make pixel by pixel selection (if desired). There seems to be NO counterpart in CS3 - - which seems impossible for so powerful a program. In that most of my work involves selecting very precise points of 1 or 2 pixels, how can this be done?

After deleteing it will create a new cache.db file and store the serial there that goes with that disk . When you open PS cs4 it will ask to enter serial again.Just enter the serial again that came with box.

Aug 30, 2012Currently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
