OK so I uninstalled CS and went ahead to try and install CS2, about 30 seconds into the install I get this error message saying that data1.cab cannot be located. I go to the following folder where it should be located and it is there intact with all the files in it.

Try installing it again (Error# 0)".
With Adobe Application Manager, after the files are downloaded and extracted, I get the error "Installation failed: Insufficient disk space to extract files. Please clear space on C: and try again (EX10)", even though both on the target drive (which I've set to D:) and on the C: drive, there is plenty of space available (85GB and 2.5GB, respectively).
I previously had CS4 installed, and uninstalled it before attempting to install the trial of CS6. I'm running Win XP SP3 32-bit on a laptop with 4GB RAM.
After installing Photoshop and Flash CS 4, I have received a network 1063 error concerning a file called AdobeCMapsAll.msi. I've searched through the forums and googled it but haven't found a solution to the problem. I used Adobe AIR to diagnose the problem, however it failed to do so. During the extraction of the upgrade version of CS4 (about 95-100% completed) I got the error "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder". I have 690GB free on a 750GB drive so I know space is not a problem. I'm running XP w SP3.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have reinstalled my operating system twice, after complete format, and both times when I have tried to install Photoshop 7.0 I get an error message; "Component Move Data Error Info, Media name: Data, Component: App-Photoshop, File Group: App-PS, File: photoshop.exe, Error Number: -106 (refer to online help)" which prevents me from reinstalling Photoshop 7.0!
I tried installing on another computer in my house, and the installation was flawless. I am having no problems reinstalling my other programs. On the 2nd of the above re-installs, I did it in the safe mode after deleting all the *.tmp files (and others) as recommended in a forum with Photoshop 7.1 update.
I have requested technical support from Adobe using their online system. I'm supposed to receive a response within 24 hours. I've used this system once before for Adobe Premiere Pro, and got good results, so hope I will again.
I had to rebot my computer the other day then had put back CS3 on to my computer.When CS3 starts to install its self it comes up with:-

Photoshop started fine and worked fine (only used it a bit) after the "failed" installation but, the Update option in the Help window was grayed out (trial version, just to let you know). Is that a limitation to the trial version? Or is it straight up an error?
My question is, what did the error report mean and what could be wrong with my currently installed version of PS? BTW, I didn't use Mini Bridge yet, although all of its files are present in the Program Files directory for Adobe.
I tried to install the update with Adobe Updater and it failed with error code U44M1P7.I then downloaded the update patcht directly from the site and tried to install. Again error code this time U44M2P7.

CC Applications PS, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro will not launch in newly installed Mountain Lion OS on Imac Platform. have an install fail on a minor item. Moreover, a prior dialog box said that it was installing the features I selected: I never was given the opportunity to select anything.
I am getting “Error: 4 – Corel VideoStudio files have been damaged or modified. Please reinstall your original source.” with VS Pro X6 trial download. Install runs normally. But when I try to run the software, I get the above error immediately.
Things I have tried:
- Uninstalled from control panel, followed by cleanup tool (VSX4_Cleanup. Is there a more recent version for X5 or X6 ?)
- Deleted the Setup Files folder “Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 Setup Files”, and cleared TEMP files. Rebooted
- Downloaded installer again and repeated install. Rebooted. Tried to run. Same Error
- Confirmed “Protexis Licensing V2” service is running
- No prior version of the software was ever installed on this system
- Running Win 7 Pro x64 SP1. Thinkpad T420 with integrated graphics.

I had to uncheck the ANSI library prior to install to get everything else to install.Occurs on both of my machines (Win7 32-bit & 64-bit).I think the ANSI install file is corrupted.
How/where can I get the "installed" ANSI content library file that gets installed into C:ProgramDataInventorContent ?

Here a couple of the errors I get.

I have also attached a couple of the errors.
The user is a local admin of the machine, I have tried installing as the local administrator as well. I have tried to change the onwer in the registry and all give me the same error.
I have successfully installed on my desktop with similar config, but laptop install fails. I'm going to redownload the package and try again.

I just signed up to the PhotoShop & Lightroom Cloud. Photoshop installed OK But Lightroom fails to instal. It give 2 errors:

I am trying to instal on a Macbook Pro 2010 running OS-X 10.6.8 with 8 GB of RAM and 535 GB of free hard disk space. I have tried the installation process twice to no avail. Currently running version 4.4 of Lightroom without a hitch.
When trying to run Photoshop CS 5 I get an error message (stopping launch) saying I need to install Java SE 6, however Java SE 6 is no longer supported by Apple for security reasons. I have Java SE 7 (Oracle) installed but Photoshop seems to be unaware.
I have spent a few hours searching for how this can be fixed in a way that does not involve installing an old unsupported version of Java (i.e. SE 6) over the top or in place of the latest version of Java (i.e. SE 7).
I see many people have the same problem, but there appears to be no clear answer from Adobe staff.
So big waste of time.
The more difficult the update process is, the less often people will update their products, ultimately this will impact on Adobe's bottom line.
