I would like to be able to include the activation before I clone to the clients. I watched the video for AAMES and it mentioned about a workaround for cloned clients. It also said there was a video available on the topic.
Photoshop :: Cloned Area Comes Out Much Softer And Blurred
Aug 29, 2012Clone tool, in that when I clone (let's say grass as example), the new cloned area does NOT come out as sharp as the area selected. It comes out much softer and somewhat blurred. I have the opacity and flow both set at 100%. This is very frustrating since I can not get a true clone.

i think this is because the point is not associated with the cloned (from xref) object? any thoughts on how to get it to work with the single object selection/insertion point prompt? in the meantime ive re-written to have a second prompt for the insertion point, which works on the cloned object.

Aug 19, 2011I need to use the Handle of the cloned object during a DeepClone override but AutoCAD shuts down when I try to use it.
This is the best I can think of but it still boots me out when I try.

GIMP :: Parallel / Cloned / Twin Layers For Tiled Textures?
Jul 3, 2013I'm currently using GIMP for making textures for a 3D game. These textures are drawn by hand and making those "tileable" is a bit awkward most of the time. There's all sorts of manual methods but I'm wondering if there's something that will take care of this in real time. Anyway what I'm looking for:
Is there a way to create layer groups which contain the very same layers at different locations? Or displaying the same layer group in two places next to each other? So stuff I draw in one place is "cloned" in real time to another layer or group? What I want is the ability draw seamlessly, so when I draw at or past the layer borders on the bottom I automatically draw at the top border.
I can kinda achieve this manually either by offsetting a layer or by making the layer bigger in size than the texture I want and then cutting and pasting the details beyond the actual texture size to the opposite side. But those are very awkward procedures, especially when working with many layers that have to be drawn and edited separately. Is there maybe some automated feature that takes care of this for me in real time?

Trim the master object and the cloned object gets deleted.The master object cannot be directly trimmed, so I grouped it with another object, which seems to enable the shaping tools. check if this behavior exists in X5 also.
I have inserted a clip about the problem. Maybe other users and the Corel staff will check it out.

Aug 1, 2009CS4.Windows XP When I put text into my image (name and copyright) the character window (tool bar) does not let me select a color. For exampled I will type my name and year on my picture.
 Then I select the text, open character tool, select color and then I change the color of my text to something in my picture. For some reason this quit working on my XP system (but works on my Vista system - laptop). Is there a simple fix for this ?

Apr 14, 2008I have scanned our baseball teams calendar schedule which has the days colored-coded; red for home games and white for away games. Also, they certain special home dates colored in a light blue. I want to replace all the light blue days with the same red that is already in use on the rest of the schedule.
I can find no way to use the red as the sample color, or transpose the RGB values shown into corresponding Hue, Saturation and Lightness values used in the Replace Color tool.
I do this every year and in the past I kept a old copy of Paintshop for this single task, but have finally deleted it and want to figure out how to do this simple task using my Photoshop 7.0.
Photoshop :: Any Way To Increase Size Of Lens Flare Sample
Mar 27, 2013Is there a way to increase the size of the "Lens Flare" sample? I tried to set a couple of lens flares on a pic I'm working on, but the sample is so small I cannot see where the flare is winding up until I click ok and the flare shows on the pic (and is a mile off)
I need to see if there is a way to either enlarge the 'sample' or get the flare to show on the pic so I an see where to place it exactly. I've found several other 'sample(s)' windows are far too small to do any good... surely there has to be some way to enlarge them?
Or at least to get the Flare to show on the big pic like some of the other filters do as you use them.

Anyway I got almost everything back to normal execpt...
while using the brush tool and I alt click to cahnge the color to the new sampled color but it now goes to the background color instead of foreground color. It also goes to background color when I use the regular peye dropper.
how to shut that off or change it so it goes to the foreground instead of background.

The object fills 90% of the image and the table 10% image. Now, I just want to delete the object. But that doesnt work with content aware fill, because the area around it is much smaller.

May 12, 2012I am bringing into an old photo which is in fact a scan of a printed photo, an item selected from a recently taken photo and I need it to look as if it belongs to the old photo.
The immediate difference is in the texture, best shown with a photo here. try viewing it also by moving head laft and right ! I can even see a regular pattern of something within the cruder pixels. I could take days to try out various filters, it may be it requires a combination of filters and given the variables involved the chances of hitting upon the right settings and the right filters is remote and it would take days. Is there a way of sampling the recipient photo and then applying the effect it sees to the cleaner looking modern photo ?
I come across this situation all the time when one photo, even a modern digicamera one, taken by someone else, differs from another photo, unless the 'textures' can be made to match, the added in pics stick out like a sore thumb ! A photo with jpg artefacts receiving a cleaner photo is one common occurrence, try geting the cleaner one to look very jpegged, not easy.

Oct 31, 2013I am using PSC6 and the clone tool stamp will not paint from the sample area. After holding down the alt key to obtain sample it will not paint. I can hold the sample over the area to paint & see the cloned area visually, but it will not paint when I click. however if I click many multiple times I get a faded clone.

Jan 23, 2013I'm doing some painting with a lot of layers set to different blend modes. I find that every time I want to paint on one of these layers, I have to go to that layer, set the opacity back to 100, change the blend mode back to "normal" sample the color, then change everything back and continue painting. I realize I can save a swatch for the color, but it can get confusing when you're using subtle color differences on multiple layers. It seems like there should be a modifier key to the tool that samples the layers "true" color discarding opacity and blend mode.
