Apr 3, 2012Using X% and trying to make some website logo designs but all the letters etc do not look nice and smooth on the site.
I make the logo full size and shrink it then save for web but when I import to the site program and publish the site the logo looks ragged.
the logo in question is the top right side image at [URL] .....
I have tried lots of different design ways but still looks crummy.

Jul 27, 2009I'm trying to have a logo that goes with the site name TwistedMac.com Perhaps a mac logo twisted or even something that does not go with the name but sticks out and looks good. Just don't want something that looks thrown together which is pretty much what all my attempts have looked like
I have tried but having the simple logo I have now was the best looking thing I could make.
If someone can help and your a Mac user, I have a few application licenses from my site sponsors that I have to hand out and can give a few apps out in return. Doesn't matter to me. Would just be great to get something better looking.
Photoshop :: Fuzziness Around Edges Of Letters
Jul 22, 2013If you look at my website, [URL] ... you'll see that the title in the header is kind of fuzzy around the edges of the letters. I created it in Photoshop, and I cannot seem to get the edge's sharp and clear no matter what I do in Photoshop. It also doesn't seem to make any difference if I save it as a .PNG or a .jpg. I have tried re-doing it from scratch several times, and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've created other header titles in Photoshop that have come out clear and sharp and I haven't done anything any differently.

Apr 27, 2004I have two psd files. One with my logo and another with my web page template. I want to add my logo to the web page template without having to recreate it. I have been able to add the layers of my logo to the web page template following some advice I have found on this site (using duplicate layers and selecting the web page file.), but the logo is too big.
I have chained the layers of my logo together but now I need to scale it down, move it, then add some layer effects such as inside beveling etc. How do I scale just the logo layers down so they will fit correctly with the rest of the page?

What software, how to export, what the size of the document should be, what resolution, any detailed tricks, designs and pointers..I know I can create a logo, but it is blurry and it shows. When I put my logo on a gray background for instance, the text becomes more blurrier.

The jpeg I want to center is 331x250. I need to center it in a 1000 pixel horizontal space and 331 vertical. I thought I could put the image on top of a white background/image at 1000x331px and center it.
Seems like Layers is what I need, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've watched the tutorial on Layers and am still lost.

Apr 30, 2013I have a logo comprised of hand-drawn letters that exist as outlined vectors in my .ai file. I am trying to find out if there is an easy way to make each letter a bit “thinner”. I have been achieving this for digital purposes by adding a stroke to each letter that matches the color of the background it will be used on. This workaround has been effective in getting the look I want but becomes problematic when preparing files for printed applications (t-shirts, stickers, etc.)
Is there an easy way to somehow “thin-out” the letters equivalent to the amount of girth that the stroke appears to take off of each letter?

However, when I save the logo in JPEG/PNG for the web its always coming out smaller than i would like it to and i cant seem to get it to the size i want.

Aug 22, 2008Our logo was originally drawn by hand, then scanned, and rendered in photoshop. That was a few years ago. I dont even know where the original drawing is anymore, so I have to work with the JPEG of the logo that I have.
Anyways, the logo is real basic. All of the edges look pixleated. Im assuming that when I originally scanned it, i must have had it on a really low DPI.
So I want to know how to smooth out the edges of my logo.
I'll attach the logo so you can see what I mean.

Everything looks fine in corel, but when I upload it to the web the edges are very ragged on the rectangles and text. I tried it with and without converting to curves and the same thing happens.

Feb 15, 2012i have been a long user of romcat... but would like to use the new corel connect. i use the folders selected to my HD folder that has all my cdr files (20yrs worth from ver 1). when i type in a search word that is in 100's of my cdr files keywords... connect doesnt display them. In romcat it does display them, even older files, with the same key word. connect only shows cdr files that have in its file name part of the search word, but seems to ignore the key words in the files.
I have all my job files with important key words within them, but the actual file names are simple job numbered names. i noticed on searches from X5 content on dvd, the files also are just numbers, but the search finds key words.
Photoshop :: Smooth Edges, But Then Changes To Rough Edges When Saving

So basically, I created coloured text inside Adobe Illustrator and however much I zoom into the text, the text always appears to have smooth edges. Once I click on 'Save For Web', the edge all around the text becomes rough and aliased. I chose GIF and PNG, but it still happens. The text is on a transparency background. The same problem applies to images when I am creating a logo.

Jun 10, 2008when I browse image files I find that the Photoshop/Adobe logo has been replaced by the Netscape logo. When I attach a file in email the N-scape logo is there by file name/number not Photoshop logo. Anyone know why or have this issue?
