Photoshop :: Frames In Digital & Dark Room Technique [Grunge Border]
Aug 24, 2007
Would anyone know how to achieve a frame like this in a dark room and is it possible to recreate from scratch digitally using photoshop or other software?
I put in a grid of spotlights. But every time I render, the room looks incredibly dark but there are TONS of reflections. What is a good strategy for decreasing the reflections while brightening up the room?
Glad to find this forum. I'm a photographer who frequents the photocamel forum a lot, and a recent post there intrigued me. I can't add to the thread but thought some of the pros that hang out here could. How do you think the photographer in this thread did it?
What technique should I use to make the edge of a video reel border the speech bubble, like in the attached sketch. I've already traced the speech bubble and the exclaimation mark.
I have several discs/flash drives with digital pictures frames that I would like to insert pictures into some of them, but everytime I do as the instructions tell me, by first clickling new, inserting the frame, then I go to start and drag the photo over and invariably, the photo turns into a background, not a layer that will easily insert into the frame, a lot of the frames are png, do I need to change their format or what. It looked so simple on the U tube video I watched and it sure isn't that way when I try it. I bought a lot of these photo frame discs on ebay a while back and at that time they gave me a simple program to use to insert photos into these frames, but since then I've change computers a few times and lost the program, will do the insertion of photos into these frames.
I have a rectangle (looks like a label border) showing up in my room tag. It's a simple tag taken from the OOTB room tag family. I'v re-edited the family, checked the parameters and values. All label borders are off, but this one looks like its either part of a separate, invisible label or a separate rectangle that I can't find to delete.
How to use Smoke make Dark Edge Border effect. I have tried wipe, make a mask and enable the advance gradient, but not happy with the result. Is there any other method to make a Dark Edge Border effect?
I have a project in wich rooms functionality is compromised. I don't know why the room tool doesn't recognise a simple room delimited by walls whose property divides rooms is set to yes. If I place a rectangle of rooms delimiters the room tool works properly instead. If I start a new project the tool works properly.
I am editing an old file set up by another firm that is used by our clients to keep track of room sizes etc, which has a room data table and room tags tied to area polylines. It has worked just fine on our 2013 Acad Architecture, but when I sent them (saved down to 2010) back to our client, using 2012 Acad Architecture, the tags disappear and the table is unpopulated. It seems like it must have something to do with the file originally being created way back when, along with some quirk between 2012 and 2013.
My friend has taken some engagement photographs and unfortunately the couple have dark hair and the background is also dark - I think you can see her problem with the photos. Somehow the background needs to be lightened and neither of us know how (we both have Photoshop 7)
Can some direct my to a good, possibly free, stock photo site for acquiring grungy textures to apply to images with blend modes and layer mask. Hoping for more organic results than what I get with the filters.
I've been noticing a bunch of grunge sigs lately and i think they are really cool. I would like to do one of my own but im not sure how. Can anyone explain how to do them or show me where i can get a tutorial to do one?
I'm making some grunge brushes from a photo and there is some color on the part of the image I want to make the brush. I want to keep the color as it is and make a brush out of it. Is this possible? When I select the area of the image and goto define brush, the brush is just as black and stuff. The reason I can't just change my foreground color is because the image has multiple colors. Anyway I hope someone understands what I want here.
Okay so I got the grunge brushes off of expertstudio but now I need more.... I need stuff to create things like there are on the splash page of teamphotoshop (splash 17, or splash 13). Anyone have some cool brushes I could have? Thanks for the advice in advance.
I'm an advanced Photoshop user but I am hardly literate in Illustrator, and I was wondering if, and if so how it might be possible to create these effects in Photoshop?
I have just downloaded paint.net and wanted to know if and how to add grunge brushes.I'm new to paint and photoscape.I have Windows 7 with IE 8 browser,if that matters.
I have a picture of my girlfriend in her underwear & I want to alter it in an artistic way so that I can use it for a CD cover. I was thinkin along the lines of makin the edges of her body neon or somethin but dunno how to do it. Any ideas?
I'm trying to duplicate this effect on a Shakira picture, but have had no luck at all. I need to know how the skin was made so light and sparkly. And the eyes and the eyeshadow, how was that done? Code:
