Photoshop Elements :: Remove Raised Texture Pattern From Scan Of Original Photo?
Aug 11, 2013
How can one remove a raised texture pattern from a scan of the original photo?
Â
Have several wedding photos scanned into PS Elements that were printed by the pro, photography studio on a raised pattern paper. How to remove the honey comb type pattern so that the picture canbe printed flat on glossy color photo paper?
For my 3D scene, I have to use a texture file on the floor. If I use the only file, than it looks really boring and below par. What I want is, I want to generate some (around 6-8) texture files within the original texture file - so the colors of all the texture files remain same but only the texture varies.Likewise there are more than 500 texture files and I just can't do them manually. Is there any way out to do this in Photoshop?
I have elements 10 and am interested in other product additional filters that can remove grain/texture from old photo. I have used noise reduction, dust and despeckle as well as gaussimer blur as it is a portrait. Still not happy with results.I have heard that there are filters specifically designed to remove grain/texture.Â
I recently purchased the above and I am having problems with colour. When trying to work with a photo the colours are not true to the original. I have checked the inks and have checked the printer. When copying somthing staight from the printer the colours are perfect. I have only had this problem since I installed the above. What can I do to rectify this problem.
I'd just like to disable eveything except for the scanner software I actually use so I can just go to File > Import > and quickly click on the option I actually use to scan things in without thinking which one it is. Other options I almost never use, is there any way to disable them from showing up in the File > Import menu?
In Photoshop 11, I have used a tool, similiar to the clone, that blends an unwanted object from a photo and replaces the object with pixils adjacent to it, but I can no longer find it. How do I do this. It seemed to work better for me in some cases better than the clone.
I need to know if Photoshot element software will enable me to remove an unwanted object from a photo ( a sign in the background for example). Also if I have a good shot with a bad facial expression, I could remove bad facial shot and replace with a better one from another photo?
I was wondering how to select a photo from a scan. I used the various selection tools and then copied and pasted the photo into a new Photoshop document and the scan appears striated and strange. Is there something I'm doing incorrectly?
Planning to be off line for several days and starting getting into photoshop composition. Are there any well known, good value, texture/pattern packs, that are popular and you would recommend that would contain textures/patterns I could use in compositing some backgrounds.  Specifically I had in mind:  * inside rooms - wall & floor textures * old rooms - rock, tiles, cobbleston textures * outside areas - trees, grass, road surface, walls, vegetation  That is so offline I would have a nice large range to choose from to blend into background compositions. I know you can "google" to get various results, but if there are a few specific well know & large/comprehensive packs of this type of thing at a good price..
how to create clouds, and the only thing I am missing is something I am supposed to have, which is a clouds pattern file. I am searching high and low for this particular file.
alright well today i downloaded 500 seamless texture all in jpg. format. i was wondering if there is anyway to bring all of the textures into my photoshop without having to... define pattern.. name it and exit one of the 400 windows, 500 times.
I want to apply a new surface pattern to selected objects, i.e. impose a lemon skin on an apple - any way to do this in Photoshop, or do I have to use a different program?
When you select the option to apply any changes & overwrite your original photo does the program attempt to try to a default setting to keep the picture approximately the same size as it was before? (assuming that you haven't cropped it) If it doesn't default to a size automatically can is there an option to do so?
I was wondering if photoshop or a plugin got a function, which can create a "plane" looking like pants and then fill it with the texture/pattern I want? Â Something similar to vanishing point. Though in this case I got pants. So a square ain't useful.
Take a look at the pictures. I cut out the pants, make a plane looking thing, which shows the depths and folds in its area. After that I apply the texture/pattern. Is this possible with photoshop? Â I hope you catch my meaning. If not I will try to describe myself better.
