Feb 18, 2014I successfully exported the catalog from my old Vista Computer running elements 6. I imported the catalog to a Sony Vaio running Windows 8.1 . All pics and albums are in the organizer. However I cannot add additional pictures from a file folder in the organizer to an album that is also in the organizer that was previously created in elements 6

Sep 23, 2013I’ve got a student version (AutoCAD for Mac 2013) , which I got from official website. There starting to appear few problems after a few months of my work.
1. when I’m doing a rectangle, lines that intersect or just lines that contact, in the point of connection appear small blue rectangles and windows of mistakes. If I trying to move only one element of this object, all others elements start to deform in chaotic way.
2. when I’m coping any object on the same page in one file, program start to buzz and I need to close the program despotic.

Oct 28, 2012I've been using PS and PSE since 2003 so I'm not what you'd call a new PSE user. I upgraded to PSE9 a few years ago but now I can't get the clone stamp to work correctly. I keep getting black spots on the distracting elements that I want to remove. I've gone through Scott Kelby's PSE9 book a million times but still can't get the tool to work correctly.All I get are the black spots. I'm working on photo submissions and time is running out. Here's what I'm doing.
1) First I select the Clone Stamp tool and then the brush size I want to use (usually around size 45)
2) Then, I sample the area just to the left of the distracting element that I want to remove. (I use Alt + left click)
3) Then I run the tool over the distracting element and left click. But instead of getting my sampled area clone, I get a black spot.
I thought that maybe I was using too big of a brush but that's not the case. So, what the heck am I doing wrong or is there some kind of an update or tool that will allow me to remove distracting elements more easily?

Sep 28, 2012Imagine working with a photo of a purse that has a handle. The handle is upright letting you see background space above and below the strap. I need to cut the purse, strap included, from the rest of the picture. Then I have to save it on its own. I am not moving the cut out purse to a new picture to place it on.
How do I do this? Is there something that has to be done to the picture first, (bachground, layer, etc.) before even selecting the right PCS6 tool? What is the best tool to use?

Nov 24, 2013I would like to move elements of that painting onto a separate layer. What is the best way to do this? An example of this would be a painting with the moon in a night sky. I might want to move that moon object into a separate layer.
My reason for wanting to do this is I want to change the background of the painting without worrying about doing fine details around the objects I am moving. A second benefit of moving the objects to a layer is that I can then easily move the location of those elements in the painting around, trying to reposition them.
can I get all of the elements I am moving onto a SINGLE layer AND still have the ability to move those elements around separately? If I want to move 10 elements in a painting to a separate layer, it is REALLY inconvenient to have to put those into 10 separate layers and constantly maintain naming of these different layers.
