Photoshop Elements :: Ability To Switch Language
Aug 2, 2013Does Adobe have a dictionary to translate menu options or even better a ability to switch language in Photoshop Elements 11?
It's a real pain when you use guides on the internet and they are in for example English and you use a Swedish version of PE11. I have found some English to Swedish translations but only parts of the menu options are covered and mostly for older versions of PE meaning many options are missing in the translations.

Jun 27, 2013When I try and use a round brush with 100% hardness, there is still significant dropoff in density from the center to the outside of the brush. Both the brush and layer are on "normal" mode. I've reset the brush tools. I've deleted the preference files for PSE10. What other settings should I be checking? I know that "brush flow" doesn't show up as a menu item in PSE10, but you can change it with keystrokes. I've messed with that and you can see the darkness of the brush change in the dropdown - I've set that to the "00" setting [shift-apple, ##], which I believe puts it to 100.

May 20, 2013Using Elements 9 I was adding black text to a .jpg image. Somehow during the process, the text being entered defaulted to a "wavy, illegible set of characters". Spent 30+ minutes looking at FAQs and have given up. I want to reset to default simple clear black characters. Closing and restarting Elements does not resolve this issue. When ending a newly entered set of text - still get "wavy, illegible set of characters!"

I have purchased this program from the physical person, and this is a German version. The documentation, package and the instruction are published in English, that is why I thought that this program is English version as well.
My question is: if I can install English version from different source using my original key?
Does my original key contains all language versions of PS7.0 or just the German version?
I have registered my key on the Adobe website, and there is no information that it works only with the German version.
I know, that PS7.0 is not supported,
On my back cover of CD is stickers with this info: PHSP,7.0,RET,IE... and then number. IE means International English?
But why on CD I have German version?

Mar 24, 2004I bought a used computer from someone so I am not sure what was previously on his computer. I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS form CNET. After install the language was in Italian. Uninstalling and re-installing does not help. I am thinking that there must be a registry entry somewhere but I cannot find it.

May 13, 2013I used Photoshop CS 3 Extended and having trouble with foreign language fonts. I have all the South Asian fonts installed which also shows up in my PS. But when I use the font (example Baraha), the characters are all garbled. I even tried copy/paste from Word, but that does not work.

I have downloaded and installed the tamil fonts and wrote it using a unicode software. It seems to be fine when i type in applications such as word and all.. but when i write or paste those into photoshop, the letters seems to be wrongly placed.
