Photoshop Elements :: How To Remove Face Identification Squares
Dec 6, 2012
I ran the facial recognition software on all my photos, not realizing the several thousand faces that would be identified, and then subsequently gone through and labeled. I would like to remove all the "face squares" from the photos, but I have not been successful. I have created a new catalog, and deleted the old, I have removed all the photos from the program, and I uninstalled and reinstalled. When the photos are reintroduced, however, the “face squares” are still automatically there. Permanently, it seems. I’m assuming the information then is now either in the picture files or attached to the photos themselves. I’ve not been able to discover anything with Google or Bing, but it may be a matter of just not using the correct search words. With that context, Is there a way to remove the face identification squares?
How can I resize a photo in Elements 12, using the squares around the picture? I want to change the shape of the photo - in my old version, when I changed the size/shape, it would cut off part of the picture (which is what I want in order to get the size I want), whereas in Elements 12 it is just stretching and distorting the photo.
I am using this for a "scrapbook" photo page, where there are multiple photos and text on the page.
I imported my photos into organizer. I don't see the pictures, all I see are grey squares. I have to open every single picture in editor before I can see it in the organizer.
I have several part models that are very simple and are basically long cylinders. I want to create an external ilogic rule that i can run in each part file that can identify the largest sketch parameter dimension. So basically it will find the Length of the cylinder due to it being a larger dimension and then rename the parameter.
I could just name the cylinder length sketch parameter the same in each part file, but I wanted to attempt to make it more universal for all users. So if a new user forgets to properly label his part parameters, the ilogic program can identify what parameter it should be looking for and rename it properly.
How can i create a detail identification balloon in the idw's that prompt the user for the detail number and reference? Up to now we have been using sketched symbols balloon but are required to add the text manually as a second step. Is it possible in Inventor to combine this like easily done in Autocad.

My configuration:PSE 11 Windows 7 64 bit Everything up to date I imported my existing data’s in the standard catalogue
Face Detection "manually" performed.
On the first day (program start) no success with it.
The following day (new trial) this function was of (even very) good use.
To improve the duration and clarity I only scanned a single folder (no album!). Important: while doing that, I noticed that in a tray at the bottom a "circle" has gone around. Later I found out that this is the creation of thumbnails. So for sure this "thumb-nailing" was not completed! But it worked...
Yesterday I started the program at new. No possibility for a face recognition. So I startet completely at new, creating a new catalogue, and importing all data’s at new. Deleting the „old“ catalogue. Overnight then automatically create the miniaturization alone.
This morning, same procedure: a single image selected (with enough easily recognizable faces), and start the face recognition. During a very brief moment, a small pop on the screen is visible, where I can see a progress bar filling up. But no faces suggested to set a name on it.
I am using PSE 11 on Win 7 x64. The catalog is newly repaired and optimized. Using the 'Mark Face' feature in the organizer causes PSE to crash immediately after clicking the green check mark to accept the entered tag. I have used the 'Mark Face' tagging feature before without problems. What possible root cause is there and how can I repair it?
Elements 11 face-reorganization feature has stopped working. Can I uninstall and reinstall this program on the same computer without being concerned about deactivation and serial number issues?
I just loaded Elements 11 onto my windows 11 laptop and imported about 15,000 photos. I was really looking forward to using the face recognition for tagging the photos but it does not seem to work. When I click "Mark Face" it always says people analysis is yet to be run and when I click yes to run it, nothing happens. Same thing when I click "Add People+", it just flashing something quickly on the screen and then nothing happens. I have "People Recognition" checked in the view screen and "Analyze Photos for people" checked in my preferences.
how to edit a solid with opening a hole only one face and deleting an another face..
I added a drawing file which has a coloured face solid,I put a circle on blue face and making a hole on this face, and I want to delete red face without exploding solid, after all this I want to mesh this solid with maximum 25 units.
All I need to do is merge a circular face to a flat face, so both faces become one continuous face. Is this possible at all?
I have a attached a screenshot to show what I mean. Face 1 needs to be merged with face 2. This is so if I constrain anything to that face it will constrain to the entire face and not either the circular face OR the flat face.
when I anchor the layer face over the background face the floating selection disappears which means I cannot work on the layer face and therfore am unable to erase the layer face into the background face, this is on gimp 2.6
Is there a way to use PRESSPULL on a face that's behind or underneath another face. When I use PRESSPULL it always selects the face on top and sometimes I want a face that is behind or underneath that face.
I am having a problem reducing the opacity of a photo. When i reduced the opacity i end up with a chequer board of white and grey squares all over the photo any ideas?
I tried to do that kind of sig, but I can't do this flipping (it this right word to describe this effect?) squares. I tried transforming, but it always looked weird... I know for sure that this was made in PS/ImageReady.
I searched on some forums, but I can't find nothing in tutorials that are similar to this... So, please, does anyone know how to make that flipping? Thanks in advance for anything, that can help.
