Photoshop Elements :: People Profile / Face Pictures Are Blank
Feb 17, 2013In Elements 11, my "people" profile pictures are at times blank, even though the faces are tagged.I just see the person icon instead.

Photoshop Elements :: Missing Profile Pictures In People Section
Jan 4, 2013I am using Elements 11 on a Windows 8 computer. When I started to use the face tagging feature, the 'people' section showed each of my added people, with a profile picture of each one. Now, however. I can add people but they do not appear in the people section at all.

Nov 28, 2012I just loaded Elements 11 onto my windows 11 laptop and imported about 15,000 photos. I was really looking forward to using the face recognition for tagging the photos but it does not seem to work. When I click "Mark Face" it always says people analysis is yet to be run and when I click yes to run it, nothing happens. Same thing when I click "Add People+", it just flashing something quickly on the screen and then nothing happens. I have "People Recognition" checked in the view screen and "Analyze Photos for people" checked in my preferences.

Oct 2, 2012I recently upgraded from PSE 10 to PSE 11. I already used tags to identify People by name. However, in the new People View not all of my people tags are present as People Stacks despite running the face recognition function. If I use the Add People function it just runs the face recognition feature that I have already run and named the specific person I want to see in the stacks.Strange thing is when I click the Add Group button I can see the missing people but do not know how to get them shown in the People Stacks?

Apr 29, 2013I have about 11,000 pix in PSE 11 and growing, all of a large family. Using 'Add People" in organizer worked well up till I reached 9,000 pix. I get the msg that all faces have been tagged. I've been scanning about 300 pix from our old albums and always try to add people after each group. I am not even getting the "Is this a person" message. I can go to each batch and manually answer "Who is this? Database size problem??

And found it to be really interesting. I'm willing to change the sex of people using this formula (more specifically from male to female). And on the comments section of the video there is this comment saying:
"I used this mask on my face and it matched! This is how i did it: Download picture of mask. Open picture in adobe illustrator. Using pen tool draw lines on the mask. Than remove picture of mask and group all lines. Then put your picture and match it! You need about 5 minutes for this."
But I didn't get it really well... and the video didn't clear things up for me much neither. How I can practice this gender swapping technique and get the best results.
Photoshop Elements :: Imported People Tags - How To Merge Them With Existing People Tags
Dec 30, 2012I have just upgraded from PSE 9 to PSE 11 and have imported some pictures that I have tagged in another program. Importing tags for everything other than people works fine (already used tags are recognized and reused). But importing tags for people proved to be a problem. They did not merge automatically with my previous people tags in PSE. My imported people tags ar now placed under "Imported Keyword Tags" in the "Media" workspace. How do I merge or move them to the "People" work space where the people tags for PSE 11 is placed?
I also wonder why people and other tags are put in different places. Is it possible to view all keyword tags in one list/place?
Lightroom :: Blank Pictures When Importing?
Sep 28, 2012I have tried to import a few pictures. When they import, they are just blank, although if i hover my mouse over the blank picture, it has all the info listed. I also exported a picture and when i opened it, it opened fine.

Jun 17, 2012I just bought a new camera and took wedding pictures with it yesterday. I went to import them into Lightroom 3 and all the pictures came up in blank box's with a ? in each one of them. It said "The files are from a camera which is not recognized by the raw format support in lightroom. I did double check my memory card and all my pictures are on there.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Profile Bands - EG Elevations Blank

I have 7 roads in my drawing and all of the profile data bands except one are correct. We first started with an overall profile with the EG created from a surface and the FG created by drawing in profile, then created multiple profile views. The only thing wrong with the one road profile is the data band is not showing the EG elevations. The strange thing is under Profile View Properties - Bands Tab, Profile 1 is set to EG and Profile 2 is set to FG, so it recognizes it is there and is also shown in the profile, however no elevations. I have tried recreating the multi profile views. Attached is a screen shot to give you a visual.

When you tell it to IGNORE is it just for that pass? Why does it constantly miss the obvious, known, face and ask about the bend in the chair that is not even a person?

May 28, 2013I'm using Elements 11. I imported some photos to my catalog and the program asked if I wanted to import the tags as well. Of course I did and so did the program. However, now when I want to find pictures of a specific person that I tagged in people taggs in elements are separate from the photos in the normal tag with the same name of that person. So I have to review both places to find all of the pictures for that person.
Is there any way to change a normal tag to a "peoples tag" so that I will find all images of that person when I want to find it?
In my opinion it is a little strange that there is now the distinction between two different tag types. If I save the tags to the file via "Save Metadata to Files" then the peoples tags are written in the normal tags section in the files since Windows seems to know only one tag system. So when I import the files again in Elements then naturally the peoples tags are converted to normal tags because it could not distinguish which is which.
Is there a better solution? Can I just combine the normal tags with people tags? It's far too hard to retag all of the photos and the automatic face recognition doesn't work very well in many cases so a lot of work is necessary.

Nov 8, 2013I've been having trouble getting the People recognition tool to work on Elements 12.
It picked up a load of different faces at first, but I still have thousands of photos left which the program now refuses to pick up faces from - whenever I select photos (even in small batches) it comes up with a message saying "No new people found in your selection". However, when I click on the individual photos it still has the windows round the faces asking me who they are.
Need to get the facial recognition tool working again. I'd rather not have to go through each photo individually when batch tagging is so much quicker.

Apr 14, 2013The Add People feature has stopped working in Elements 11. I just get the message "no new people found in your selection". Yet, when i open a picture there will be faces that are marked in the photo awaiting tagging. I have thousands of photos and having to open each one individually just to tag faces is not why i purchased this software. It worked well in version 10 and was much better in 11 until it stopped working.
It worked great until about 3 weeks ago. I have not changed any settings on my end. I have followed the directions on the following threads:

I have reset to default settings I renamed the psa.prf, status.dat and the peoplestatus.dat files. Neither of those have worked. Short of uninstalling and re-installing i am at my wits end.
