A B&W logo ought to be possible to change the colour of the black elements? I can find the appropriate menu option, "Change Colour" but it randomely wioll not highlight. When it does, the process does not seem obvious. I do the obvious things, but nothing is happening.

Whenever I try to do this it looks like I have changed it, and click OK...but when I check back it has actually not taken effect and has defaulted back to the original stored profile. Consequently I cannot use different paper types now. This has only just started happening and was ok before. I am using Mac OS 10.7.5 along with an Epson R3000.

I have an assembly that has 4 rectangular patterns that can have any number of elements, sometimes the customer will ask for coating to be applied, in this case i only want to change the colour at the assembly level only.
I have line art on a transparent layer. That is, it's not part of a white layer, but just black on nothing. I want to easily change that to a colour without changing the quality of the line. I know I can put a screen layer above it with a colour and that makes the black coloured, but it only shows up if I flatten it on to white. Otherwise, that's exactly the look I want, just not on a flattened white layer. I need to keep the line on the transparent layer so that I can paint under it, so I can't flatten it on to white. I also don't want to select the line and fill it as that significantly changes the quality of the line. I just want to change the colour of the line without chaning it's density, or any pixels.

Not just 100% black but like 2% Magenta, 4% Yellow, 95% black. When I export rgb or cmyk objects, not a problem. It only has issues when it involves a pantone colour.
I have never had issues with this from the past 8 years I have worked with CorelDRAW. This was also something that just randomly happened, no computer upgrade, no major software changes, nothing.
I am currently running Windows 7 64bit with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5.

This phenomenon does not occur either if I upload a picture to this forum!!! I have tried twiddling with Hue, Saturation and Lightness but I cannot get the actual colours across the whole picture. I am using a Canon Pixma IP4950 printer recently purchased. I have tried various adjustments to settings but with no success. I find that I have to lighten each photo x 2 to get a decent colour print.
