I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. How do I view only photos with a SPECIFIC tag, without photos that do not have that tag, but is included in a STACK. It seems that once a photo is included in a stack it is shown even if it does not contain the specific tag that is filtered.

View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently I downloaded the PSE 9 program from a disk onto my new computer. When I opened it to use I am unable to find under "Organize" the "File", "Edit", "Find", "View", "Window" and "Help" on the upper bar/area. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still do not see those options. I'm just begining to learn about PSE 9, so am new to all this.
What am I missing or not doing exactly right that I'm have dificulty trying to view and use the above? I can start to use the program with photos download on my computer, camera or external hard drive.
In Photoshop 9 can I view or sort photos by time taken not just by date taken?

I've got some 500 photos in a folder which were imported on two different dates. I've created a new album on the right hand side under "Organize" and just the photos I want are in there. When I look at the folder on the right, all the pictures are there. But I can't call up just that folder; instead what I get on my screen is all 2500 photos in all my photo albums! Not what I want! What I want to get is all the photos in the order in which they were taken on the actual day as all 500 photos were taken at the same day. And I want to be able to view just the 500 photos in that folder by the time those pictures were taken. But, when I imported the second batch of photos it showed the date the file was created rather than the date the photo was taken so, basically, I've got one batch of photos showing the date they were taken (which I downloaded via a link a few days later), and one showing the date they were copied!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a simple lisp I've been using for years that suddenly disappeared. It required that you identify a block name, tag name, and the value that you want the tag to be. All of this is performed via command line, so it is scriptable. Since I lost it, I've been experimenting with -attedit. This command comes frustratingly close to what I'm looking for, except it only appends an existing tag, or replaces a specific string within the tag; I can't get it to replace the entire tag, regardless of its value.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I insert a window family the cut plane Revit uses is that of the family rather than that of the view. This causes a lot of problems for us when we need to cut the same window at different levels in different views and the window itself should look different. The window itself is built to look differnet at 3 ranges of cut plane height. However, if I try to control this throught yes/no visibility parameter it affects all views. I fail to make it view specific. Is there any way to make an instance parameter or view specific parameter for the cut plane/ visibility of parts in the window family. It is such a basic need for architects and I fail to understand its absence in the Revit. Generaly speaking one should be able to control what you see in each plan section view. It's an essential thing in architectural drawing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking to see if I missed a setting somewhere. I have hunted extensively, but the ability to set a view to a specific layer seems to be unavailable. What I woudl liek to be able to do is define the layer that the viewport is inserted on when I bring a view into a sheet using the sheetset manager. I love this system, but it does slow me down in that regard. If there is a setting or preference that I can switch to make that happen or am I going to have to write something to do it for me.

New user to PSE11. Is it recommended that ALL photos be in albums or is the idea that photos in albums are a subset of the photos in folders? With all the sort and search functionality, I don't understand the benefit of albums.I name my image folders using a standard naming convention with the date embedded so it makes them rather easy to manage.

However, when I try to do it, the cursor/icon I am dragging turns into a gray circle with a gray diagonal when it reaches the Media Browser pane in the Organizer and the folder/photo is not imported into the Organizer when I "drop." When I attempt to sync photos in iTunes (to synch with my iPhone), Photoshop Elements appears in the drop down and when I select it, it finds all the "albums" in the catalog. However, when I select an album to sync, iTunes indicates 0 photos are available in the album.
I'm running photoshop elements 11, iTunes 11.0.1.12, Windows 8 Pro.
if I try to sync "all photos and albums" it still reports that there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've tried to make new albums, which iTunes "sees" the names, but there are "0 photos" available to sync.
I've also tried to sync with a folder (file system) which works just fine.
I can not paste photos from my photos file. If I start a blank file I can paste anything photos want from the web in as many layers as I want. If I try to paste a photo from my own photos file it becomes the back ground by itself. I don't know how to stop this. Using photoshop elements 11.
