Photoshop Elements :: Printing Multiple Items Of Specific Size Onto A4?
Nov 14, 2013
I have a small sublimation business whereby I print photo's onto small personalised gifts such as mugs, phone covers fridge magnets. I print out the images to fit the size of the gift i.e. a phone cover or mug the images are a specific size.
Often I want to print multiple items onto one page each with a customised size as the paper is expensive and I need to make the most of every sheet. I can't figure out how to do this in photoshop elements 12. I am using windows XP

Is there a way to sent print to a selected printer by choosing multiple dwg files thru Folder directory without opening autocad? For example if I want to print 12.dwg, 13.dwg, 14.dwg and 15.dwg by just choosing these dwg files on my directory.

I am using Photoshop Elements 10 on Win 7 PC. I am trying to print multiple copies of one image on a single 8.5x11 sheet of paper? The images are artwork for buttons (to be used in button-making machine) so the dimensions must be exact on the duplicated images. When I select Picture Package, the images are resized to fit the dimensions in the picture package. When I select Contact Sheet, the images are resized to fit the number of columns I selected. Neither is acceptable. How can I repeat the same image on a single piece of paper without having the system re-size the image? I know that I can manually create a new PSE file and manually insert the images into this file. This is what I have been doing as a work-around.

I need to print multiple copies of a single image onto an A4 sheet with crop marks around each image. I have tried "contact sheet" and "picture package" but this doesn't provide control over the image size and I can't get crop marks.

I am trying to get several different images to print on one page. I have an Imac and Photoshop Elements 9. No matter what I do I can only get the same image mulitiple times on a page. I have tried picture package and just print, neither works. IPhoto makes this very simple but I'd prefer to use Photoshop where I edit most of my photos. print different images on one page and different sizes if possible.

After printing a photograph cannot print another. Error message: "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." have to close and reopen the program to print one more.
I have this program on my laptop as well where it does not have this problem. Have tried reinstalling but problem remains on my desktop.

I have hundreds of pictures from a recent trip that I want to print to a 4x6 print. The problem is that the pictures were taken in the incorrect ratio for this print size. I want the entire picture - with a white border around it if necessary. I can get Elements 9 to do this for me for home printing from the print screen and selecting the print size that I want. However, I want to upload these photos to an online printing service (snap fish, shutter fly, etc). I have tried using their digital print size option on Snap fish, but it still crops my pictures.
So,
1. How can I get elements to save the file for me in a compatible 4x6 ratio without cropping, that I can use to upload to a printing service?
2. How can I do this in a batch process as there are over 1000 pictures that have this issue?
3. If elements can't do this, what software can

I have a Windows 7 computer and use Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9. I recently completed a slideshow that contains about 360 photos, many or all of which exceed the maximum size of 1000 x 750 pixels. Is there any way that I can easily reduce the pixel size of each of the photos? If upgrading to the most recent versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements would accomplish this I would be willing to do this.

This is probably a really really simple question but I can't for the life of me find how I can find out an individual image size from multiple images on a canvas. eg I have 3 photos i want to arrange 1 large and the other two next to it half the size. How can I edit individual image size on the canvas as when I select the image on a sperate layer I want to resize it just resizes the entire canvas and not the individual image

I have drawn a small machine of 3D components in the model space. Each component is placed on a separate layer so that i can isolate each component. Now I need to print machine drawings for each component in paper space. I can open a view port in the paper space and freeze all the other components not needed to get the view of the one component. the problem is that on the next paper when i try and put a view of the next item by thawing the new item and freezing the previous one, this affects the first as well. What is the best way to isolate individual components from a 3D model for printing machine drawings?

Any way to automatically fill a blank document with placed items making it multiple up?
A simple example would be a business card that I designed in InDesign. I have the margins, document size and bleed edges set, I would like to place them multiple up on various sizes to see what size would hold the most to trim. 8up typically go on a letter sized document etc. But now many could I fit on 12"x18", etc.
What I am trying to accomplish not having to align each one manually which is slowing my work flow down. Plus when customers have odd sized documents they want cut and padded etc, having the abilitiy for the software to automatically place items that are all alligned by their trim edges would save a lot of proofing and re laying items out.
The idea comes from my Silouette Cameo personal cutting plotter. The software lets you fill the cut area with a design and it is filled equally.
There has to be a way commercial users can do this with out figuring all the math?

I need to cut a section out of an image in a predetermined aspect ratio e.g. I want to be able to zoom into the image at any level then use some kind of tool to hover a box which is the right ratio over the area I want and basically copy it into a new document. The idea being I can then resize the new image based on size e.g. width 250px while keeping the aspect ratio, I want to do this with many pictures in order to get a consistent look on the page.

I am creating a design which uses an elliptical fill. When exported as a .pdf and opened in Illustrator, the fill is given the name "non-native art" and is rasterized. My question is this: if the print job were for the side of a van, could XDP be used to do this and retain a pure vector output?

No matter what command i try in autocad (move, erase, copy, etc)..i can only select one item at a time. When i choose one item it goes dashed (as they normally do), but when i click the second item the first one i chose goes back to solid and if i press return only the second item i selected if affected. Similarly if i choose 3 items , it forgets the first two and only keeps the third one.. Is this an Autocad options thing or a windows Mouse thing?

I hope I am able to adequately describe what I want to do!
Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and people used film in their cameras, here is how I used to mark my clients' photos for cropping:
1. A photo proof would be on the table.
2. I would put a cardboard device over the photo.
3. With the device I could make a rectangular window of various standard frame sizes, like 8x10 or 5x7.
4. I would put the "window" over the photo wherever it was most pleasing, and then, with a pen, mark the outline of the area to be kept.
5. The photolab would then crop the photos accordingly.
6. The photos could then be printed to fit perfectly into frames.
Whew! Does that make sense?
Now: How do I do the equivalent in Photoshop?
I do NOT want to simply "resize" the photo. I want to CROP WITH THE FINAL SIZE IN MIND.
It seems like you could do this with the crop tool, but I can't figure out how.

Is there any way that Autocad can have multiple items placed on the clipboard for insertion use like the Microsoft Office Word program has (up to 24 inputs). This would be a good feature to allow going to one file, copying what you need and then switching to your current drawing file and placing them as needed.

Suddenly I can only select one item at a time. If I move onto another item, the first one de-selects. I haven't knowingly made any changes. What has happened and how to put it right? I can select multiple items via 'click and drag', but only within one drag - another drag then de-selects the first drag again.

I have Photshop CS4. I create a picture with a specific size in Photoshop (eample: 8.5" x 11"). I send it to the printer. In the printer box it also shows the correct print size. However when it prints it is only a small sample of the picture. An 8.5' x 11" picture from Photoshop, showing that size in the Image box and in the Photoshop print box, when sent to the printer shows at the correct size and prints it at 2-3/4" x 3-1/2". If i save the picture from Photoshop onto my desktop, then open it in Microsogt Office Picture Manager, then send it to the exact same printer, it is printed out at the correct size. I don't know why it will not print it to the correct size from Photoshop.

Suppose I have a 300px x 300px image and I need to choose a part of that image to crop to 150px x 150px without resampling. (I need that hypothetical 150px x 150px so it fits a pre-defined area in a web page layout.)
I know I can take the crop tool to the image and view the "Info" tab to get my 150px x 150px. But that requires a fine touch and some trial and error to get the exact crop I want.
Is there a way to specify a particular size to crop or select and then move that selection around in the image to find the best crop? (Photoshop 7.0)
