Sep 24, 2005I have searched but I did not find a "How to, . . . " I do not want Image Ready 2 to continue as a default viewer for all pictures (JPEG) on my pc. I have looked in the prference menu to no avail.

Feb 3, 2014I just installed PSE12 and want it to be the default program to open my jpg files. I know how to set defaults on a PC but the program does not even come up on the list of defaults. I've tried right-click on image and "open with" but no PSE12. If I use Browse and follow the path Program Files (x86)/Adobe/PSE12/PSE Editor.exe, there is no exe file, only the application. If I select PSE Editor, it does not make it the default.

Sep 1, 2013I recently installed Corel Paintshop PhotoPro X3. I find now that when I double-click a gif file (and I think some other types) it is opened with Corel Instant Viewer rather than Microsoft Office 2010. I want Office to be the default viewer, so from Windows Explorer I right-clicked the gif file, selected "Open with..." then "Select default program", then Microsoft Office 2010, and checked "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", finally "OK". The file then opened with Office. However the next time I double-clicked the same file, it opened once more with Corel Instant Viewer.
The procedure I followed has worked in other cases, so I don't understand why it doesn't work now. Is there any way of preventing Corel Instant Viewer from being the default viewer short of uninstalling it?

Mar 26, 2012I process my images to taste in LR4 and then export them as jpgs in the sRGB color space. When I open them in programs like "Windows Picture Viewer" they look just like they do in LR but when I upload it to my website or view it in a program like IrfanView the images look terribly over-saturated. I should also mention that it seems like I need to add quite a bit more saturation than normal to get them looking right in LR. I'm guessing that there is some setting that I have wrong.

The hardware configuration for each machine is also identical, with only a few minor exceptions. However, the images on one machine display drastically differently in Lightroom, as opposed to any other Windows application. I've updated the video drivers for both computers, reinstalled the monitor drivers for both, and have uninstalled/reinstalled Lightroom on both with no success in remedying the discrepancy.

Under Windows images, only the first link Tile is active. That means I can only have one layout open at a time. The next four in that section are grayed out. I need to use the last one, Consolidate all to tabs.
I re-created preferences and also did a system restore to a prior date without success. I am working on a class assignment and digital scrapping layout.
