Aug 31, 2006If I do a print screen and paste, for instance, a website into Photoshop, the colors are off by a MILE. Everything appears all washed out, it's really awful.
I have PS CS at work, and am not having this problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop, and so far, none of the changes I've made in edit > color settings

Dec 25, 2013I have tried this feature with mixed results. Scaning 2,3 or 4 pictures of different sizes, changing angles using an HP8600 Multifunction device. I have tried both scannig using HP software and directly with Elements at 200, 300 and 600 dpi. Elemets will sometime split off one of the pics but is not reliably sepatating them all. What ca I do to improve my results? I have a lot of pics to scan and really don't want to do them one at a time.

Here are my Color Replacement Brush settings:
Unexpectedly, when I brush over the brown area, instead of the brown changing to white it's changing to a bluish-gray.
Why the brushed color isn't changing to white?
My OS is Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro.

Dec 11, 2013I did take a class for it in college so I know the basics, but still learning. I am trying to create a very basic animation where I have 2 assets that begin off the stage on either side. I would like the elements to slide in from the sides and meet in the middle with about a 20px overlap. I tried setting a keyframe for both elements at 0 seconds and setting the X translations to -2000px and 2000px and then setting another keyframe at 5 seconds and changing the X translations to 48% and 52% respectively. This got me the desired effect, but only because I have such a large monitor. If the browser window is resized or the screen is smaller, the effect does not stay the same due to using percentages to center the elements.
is there a way to animate elements to the middle of the screen without percentages(maybe by using margin:0 auto or something)? Or is there a way to accomplish what I am looking for so that the positioning of the elements is the same regardless of browser window size?

Jan 28, 2013I have a blog on which I need to add type to each and every photos for copyright purposes. trouble is that the post photos are maxed out @ 144 dpi, and thus I use only sizes 6-8 for my fonts.
The reason for the small font size is proportion. I don't want to have giant fonts for small-sized photos. I've attached a sample before rasterization and after illustraintg the use of this fiunction is next-to-useless. I've tried different permutations and combinations font,font style, crisp,smooth, shar, etc, and the results are always the same - bad.

Jun 3, 2013I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.

If I increase pixel sizes, the quality is terrible. For example, see:

Settings *jpg: Width - 270; Height - 138; Scale styles - Y; Constrain proportions - Y; Resample image - Bicubic
If I increase *jpg to Width - 450; Height - 230, I get UGLY.
When I Save for Web as *gif, I change Width - 450; Height - 230, it still appears fuzzy, although not as much.

1) on the attached, how do I produce the effect of the shaky light on the brick floor that can be seen on the 2 lights in background behind the swimming pool (tried shadow effects option)
2) the fire on the left hand side (in front) still looks too superimposed, even though I've tried some of the things I was advised to do on a similar post (adjust vibrant mid tones, use burn tool etc).
