I keep getting the "Who is This?" box in the Organizer on PS-11.
I have turned off the "media analyses" completely, and still some photos show up with the box. I have also exited and re-opened the Organizer and still some photos show up with the face recognition box.
Other than renaming/moving the AutoAnalyzer executable, I have found no way to turn it off. I've unchecked all the boxes on the media-analysis preference screen, but this does not work. The analyzer runs, even after completely exiting out of the Photoshop Elements program. Any better way to turn AutoAnalyzer off?
The reason I want to turn AutoAnalyzer off is that it continually analyzes my large video library (over 800 GB) which causes 3 problems:
1) a very large "Video Proxies" folder is created in the catalog which more that duplicates the already large video library on my hard drive and I don't have the space for this,
2) the analyzer uses a very large amount of CPU capacity to continually analyze the video,
3) my videos are broken up into what elements thinks are scenes, which creates unwanted, additional videos in my library.
I thought the elements 12.1 upgrade might fix this issue, but it did not. I verified

I went to preferences and unchecked the "backup is on" but it keeps turning itself on again. It keeps telling me to purchase more storage. I want to change the sky color from white to blue. Formerly, in Elements 4, I could do it easily with the Magic Wand tool. I recently upgraded to Elements 11 and, to my shock, find there is no Magic Wand tool. I am running Windows 7. I tried the Brush tool and, while it selects the correct area, I can't get it to insert the blue color. It is not a choice of color offered. Only gray. The Organizer just makes things very difficult. How can I turn it off and have a simple directory tree straight out of Windows to locate my images for processing. Paintshop Pro does this very well.
