Photoshop :: CC Not Printing Images With Correct Margins

Oct 24, 2013

I have a small print shop and have had an issue with the new Photoshop CC not printing images with correct margins on and Epson 9890 and 11880. If I set the image to center on an 8x10 sheet (or any other size). The image comes out skewed to the upper left. between .125 and .25 inches to the left and to the top. I never had this issue with other versions of Photoshop.

I'm printing from Lightroom and Photoshop (Creative Cloud) and consistently getting images off center (top to bottom). Lightroom :: Margins Not Lining Up When Printing Back And Front Of Image?

Jun 25, 2012

How can I get multiple images on 1 page to line up when printing on both sides? Dimensions are 3.5x2.5, 9 to a page. They are sportscards for son's baseball team. They are slightly off by 2-3 cm on all 4 sides and in betweeen. Extremely frustrating. I tried printing in Photoshops but text is blurry. In Lightroom, Images look absolutely perfect. If they would only line up. Using a Canon MG 6200 if that matters.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Sheet / Border / Title Block Default Margins

Sep 28, 2011

Is there a way to change the default margin offsets (i.e. the distance between the edge of your border or title block to the edge of your paper), without using the "Insert Drawing Border" option?

I would have thought you could do this through the "Edit Sheet" or "Define New Title Block / Border" options. I have multiple customized title blocks, which each require their own margin offsets.

Paint.NET :: Set / Use Default Paper Size When Printing?

Mar 30, 2011

I see a "new printing UI" is scheduled for v4, so maybe this will be included in that anyway, but a quick request: it'd be great of PDN would honour the default paper size when printing. I currently need to change from Letter to A4 (which isn't even on the "most popular" list, so it needs a further click to choose "other" first), despite this being the default paper size for the printer selected.

Either using the default paper size of the selected printer, or failing that, remember the previously selected paper size in PDN would save a good amount of frustration for those of us in Europe where A4 is the usual paper size ;-)

Photoshop :: Increase Margins For Materials In CS4...

Aug 18, 2009

I've been a user of DeepPaint3D with Texture weapons for many years. Now I got Photoshop CS4 extended, to be able to use Photoshop filters and do other things DP3D isn't capable of without having to im-/export my materials from / to DP3D. Which is when I ran into a problem. How do I increase the margins (you know, that 'pixel overlap' part that's beyond the UV mapped area on a material) in PS CS4 extended? Ten years old DeepPaint3D with Texture Weapons can do it, even 'for free' Blender can do it (when baking maps), so where do I find that option in Photoshop? It's pretty much unacceptable to have a material 'end' at precisely the border line of the UV mapped area; particularly if, at some point of time, said material would have to be resized to a smaller scale (which is usually when a few pixels get eaten away at those borders). I've really been searching up and down and googled a lot but could not find it (but then again, maybe it's not called 'margins' in Photoshop.

Photoshop :: CS6 - Elements 8 - Print Not Printing Completely?

Jan 24, 2013

From time-to-time, I seem to have had a temporary printing issue with Photoshop Elements 8, whereby the photo I was trying to print would not be printed completely, but part of it would be cut off, as if the printer's print-head would not be receiving the data from Photoshop past a certain point in one particular plane.

Up to this morning, I had never encountered any printing issue with Photoshop CS6, which I have had, and printed with, for the past 6 months or so. This morning, however, I encountered the same issue, for the first time, using Photoshop CS6. It is now printing properly again, but why do I occasionally encounter this with either software?

When I normally print, I like to print photos to exact sizes, but which vary greatly, and so I prefer the technique of creating a new blank A4-sized document and dragging my photo into this document and, by using Free Transform, size the photo to my exact requirements, before printing onto good quality A4 glossy or sometimes matte paper.

What happened this morning was that, using the technique above, I was trying to print a very small passport-sized photo over to the right-hand side of a sheet of A4 paper, with the blank document in the portrait orientation. My photo was only partially printed, and cut off past a certain point in the horizontal plane. By dragging my photo further towards the centre of the blank A4-sized document and reprinting onto the same sheet of A4 worked fine. After experimenting a little by printing the photo in various places on the same sheet of A4, I discovered that the photo was not printing past a certain point, in the horizontal plane, towards the right-hand side of the sheet of A4.

This cut off point was consistent in every printing attempt. There was a certain point to the right-hand side of the sheet of A4, where, in the horizontal plane, it would simply not print past. By measuring this cut off point in the horizontal plane, it is 4.8cm from the right-hand edge of the sheet of A4, in its portrait orientation. After resetting all tools, turning the PC and printer off and then on again, launching Photoshop CS6 and retrying, it seems to be printing correctly again, and I am able to print my photo anywhere on the sheet of A4, without anything being cut off past a certain point.
