according to the error message between Adobe Photoshop2 and Microtek Artixscan 4000t `acquisition module interface' is a problem and the copying to Adobe could not be completed. I suspect it is a missing codec but where does it exist for Adobe.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just reinstalled Photoshop CS6. I'm running OS X 10.8.2 .
I use the Nik plugins suite, and reinstalled them as well. Now whenever I try to use one of those plugins I get the error "Could not complete the ... command because of a problem with the filter module interface."
The reinstallation was a bit of a struggle due to issues on Adobe's end, and I am hesitatnt to just dive in and reinstall without some idea as to what might cause these errors.
I found another issue(s) with the latest Photoshop. Incompatible plugins, lie Topaz Denoise from Photoshop 5.5, bring up an error dialog (problem with the filter module interface) which cannot be cleared with a click or a key press, rather, it just locks the program, requiring a force quit. Error handling can be more robust.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running Lightroom 4.1 on two Macs, both running 10.7.4. On one of the machines the Alt/Option key does not work properly in the Develop module.
When I hold down the Alt/Option key and move the Exposure or Blacks slider I expect to see the clipping display. Instead this action moves the whole of the sidebar of the user interface. I can move it to any place on the screen and off the edge of the screen. Clearly this should not be possible.
The problem machine has a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet attached, so I have tried updating the Wacom drivers, and also removing the Wacom software completely. Neither solves the problem. My other Mac does not exhibit this problem.
I have Photoshop 7 installed ands till recently it was running fine but from just day before yesterday I cannot use the filters. Whenever I try to use it it says "Cannot complete action due to error in Module Interface", I have also tried by reinstalling photshop but it doesnot work.

(I know that's not the same as an image originally shot in Raw, but nevertheless it was very useful in some situations.) I was wondering whether there is any way to choose the color of the user interface. By this I mean the toolbar, layers panel, etc. NOT the background, I've already figured out how to do that. Right now the toolbar/layers panel is this light grey color, and I'd like to change it so that the entire screen is a dark grey color, just as it is in CS6.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am aware of the way to open JPGs in the ACR module by being in the Editor, and going to File>Open and changing the file type to RAW. I find this to be terribly inconvenient, however.
Is there any way to open a JPG in RAW from the Organizer where I can actually see the files? With regular Photoshop/Bridge I can just right click in Bridge and open in RAW easily. But I can't seem to find a way to do something similar in PSE11? There has to be an easier way because going to File>Open and trying to figure out what file I need from a huge pile of files is not a very good workflow.
Why can't I go from LR 4.3 to Photoshop Elements 11 in the develop module. I am running Windows 8.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe "view and organize photos" mode seems to work just fine, but when I attempt to open the "edit and enhance photos" mode, I get an error box with this message: "Could not load the FastCore Routines module because the file could not be found", and then it shuts down after I click ok. I have installed the 5.0.2 patch and have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, to no avail. I had no firewall running when installing the program, nor do I own the program "Clean Sweep". What can I do?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSharpening applied in develop module is not shown when switching back to library module. It looks the problem occurs when having size to "FIT". With 1:1 there seams to be no issue. Export also looks fine in 1:1.
I use Mac 10.9.1, LR5.3, Nikon NEF 24Mbit from D600.
I hope this is a way to get support from Adobe.
I am running LR4 ver4.3. All of a sudden I receied an error message stating cannnot switch to module. I have tried all the usual stuff before going out to the web to look for fixes. On adobe's site they recommended 6 things which I did exactly as instructed and still nothing..I am running iMac mountain lion and everything on my computer is up to date.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded from CS2 to CS4 and am finding it changed enough that it's slowing me down. I have a couple questions I hope someone can answer.
What is bothering me the most is that when I left click over an image I no longer can duplicate it, or change its size. I'm stuck with going to the menus and that takes longer than what I'm used to.
I've also been unable to figure out how to split the properties panels that now want to form two columns instead of one, and I haven't figured out how to break any given panel up and use only the part I want.
In CS5 I have the interface set up so that the windows dock but when there are no windows open you can see the desktop.
In CS6 there is this big ugly black panel on show all the time Have tried to compare the setting but cannot see any options that are fundermentally different.
Can I remove this background and if so how to do this.
I am using the application frame in CS6 in a MAC environment (OSX 10.7). The interface tends to move around on the monitor getting lodged up under the OS menu bar.
Is there a way to lock the interface on the monitor like it its done on a Windows 7 OS?
upgrade from Elements but I have aging eyes. I cannot see the icons and fonts.
