View 2 RepliesI just installed Elements 11 and am unable to open it in the develop module in Lightroom 4.3. I am running Windows 8.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe main develop module controls have disappeared from the develop window. How do I recover them? I'm working with Lightroom 5.3. The missing controls are the sliders for exposure, contrast, clarity, etc. I must have inadvertantly clicked something that made them disappear but nothing I've tried brings them back. I've never had this experience in the years I've been using Lightroom (since version 1.1).
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason images in the library module aren’t as sharp compared to the develop module. If I’m in develop images are nice and sharp but as soon as I select the library you can see the image quality drop and image becomes less blurry!
View 4 Replies View RelatedSharpening applied in develop module is not shown when switching back to library module. It looks the problem occurs when having size to "FIT". With 1:1 there seams to be no issue. Export also looks fine in 1:1.
I use Mac 10.9.1, LR5.3, Nikon NEF 24Mbit from D600.
I hope this is a way to get support from Adobe.
I can't process any images as the basic tab has suddenly vanished.how can I get it back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter making changes to an image (sharpening, exposure, contrast, etc, etc) in the develop module, when I head over to the library module, the image does not show the latest changes. What's worse is when I export a JPG of the image, it exports the original! What's the point in having LR?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying out the 30 day LR 5 trial to see if I would like to upgrade. For some reason my Develop Module contains the same tools as my older version, though I know I shouldn't even see a "brightness" tool. How do I fix this and get the new tools so I can continue my 30 day trial?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't access the "Hue" tab in develop module. I can only access Hue by selecting "All."
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy develop module is not fully opening. The only items it is allowing me to edit is lens profile correction, vignetting. How to restore the full develop module starting with temperature, contrast, blacks, whites, shadows, etc., all the way down the whole module.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe new LR4 develop module looks exactly like the LR3 . The quick what's NEW video shows a highlight and shadow slider and the exposure and contrast sliders are in different places.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't see the RGB in curves in the develop module and it still shows brightness. In fact it looks just like LR3? Just downloaded upgrade. What's going on?

View 12 Replies View RelatedDid I lose my adjustments in Develop when I clicked on Library in Lightroom? I have been working on a group of about 300 photos for the past several days. Today I was in Develop and went to Library to get a couple of new photos. When I got back to Develop all my adjustments were gone. Can I get them back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to take advantage of a FULL SCREEN to see my images. However, the panel with all the controls takes up about 1/6 of the real estate.I know the panel can be auto hidden, but I hate that workflow.
I would love to put the panel on a separate monitor leaving just the image full screen on the other.
I'm using the last version of Lightroom (3.6 if I'm not wrong) and I'm facing a very uncomfortable issue with the Develop module.
I adjusted precisely every color luminance and saturation so it looks rather good in the Develop preview (set to fit), and did an export...
The preview I worked on and the export simply don't look the same.
I work with NEF files from my NIKON D3100 DSLR on a Mac OSX 10.7 MBP.This cannot be the external display profile not correctly adjusted since I viewed every pictures on the same screen.I unchecked every boxes from the presets tab in the settings window.
Here are some screenshots and exports.
Fit preview in the Develop module (left) and the actual export of the same picture (right).I didn't activated any lens correction option and adjusted any color. This is the RAW file and its direct export.Screenshot of the preview window on top of noise correction options (left) and the same area once I zoomed in in the main preview (right)
A couple of days before today I was using Camera RAW from PS CS5 to correct my NEF and was only keeping exports in JPEG. I decided to use LR 3 on my entire workflow and I'm being skeptical...
EDIT : i can join any required file or screenshot if required. I have some other shots having tthe same issue (a lot of ones indeed...)
EDIT 2 : i just found out the picture has much more acurate colors (relatively to the export ones) in the Library module in fit preview (Loupe I guess)
I have Lightroom 3.5 - Photoshop CS5 Extended and both are up to date but I'm trying to get my ALR to use the latest Camera Raw 6.5 but it's not a selection on the drop down menu.
My camera profiles are there for Nikon D700 but i'm using presets that use ACR and it's old. -- i've removed Lightroom (an unistaller would be super useful adobe!!!) but it still remembers my old catalogs etc...
I have been using 3.6 from day one with no problems, now I can view all files in my catalog, but when I go to the develop module the picture does not show and LR freezes. I have tried everything to no avail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedStarted with LR5 CS6 CR8.1
Suddenly when a raw image has been porcessed by the Develop Module the (ctrl-E) 'open in Photoshop' command does not work for that image. It works for images that have not been 'developed'.
I have deleted LR preferences several times.
I have upgraded to LR5.2RC and CR8.2RC.
As far as I remember this catalog was new as LR5.
I recently updated Lighroom 4.1 to 4.2 successfuly, but now any time I go into the Develop module, Lightroom pauses, then crashes and forces me to quite the program. Is this a bug than needs to be ironed out, or is there something else going on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI get red and blue splotches on photos in LR5 Develop Module. Seems to be mainly in bright areas of photos. Not there in Library module. I noticed this in the Beta as well but thought it would be fixed before release. In LR4.4 everything is fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running Lightroom 4.1 RC on a 2010 iMac 27" with 2.93 core i7, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB Crucial M4 SSD drive (where the Lightroom catalog resides). When I scroll through images in Library, I can move through images very fast, however, when I try to do the same in the Develop module, it becomes really, really sluggish. Probably about 5 seconds between images. I have 1:1 previews generated.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have installed lightroom 4.3 on my Dell inspiron 1525 running Windows Vista Home Premium with SP2. The moment I try to get to Develop module, Lightroom displays message in a window as "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working" and displays the options to check online for a solution or close the program. Is it the operating system or the buggy lightroom ? I did try 4.2 as well with no successful results.
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen i'm editing photos in the develop module they look really clear and good. When i switch to the library, they have a lot of noise and look nothing like how I edited them. I am using lightroom 4 for my mac. It's annoying to have to switch between the develop module and library to see what they are going to look like.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI can't turn off the develop module tip window in lightroom 4 with out closing down LM. I have tryed (commond /) and just get another window to pop-up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using LR5 and my Quick Develop Module is missing. My photos are online and so this is not the problem. I rebooted but still no Quick Develop Module. I can use the other modules.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my Mac Pro with more memory and a new SSD drive. I already use an SSD (120 GB) as my boot drive with applications and LR catalog. I moved the ACR cache to the new SSD drive (480 GB) and set it to 120 GB, and I'm also using that drive for documents. I have my images stored on a 2 TB Western Digital Caviar Black drive. I have 24 GB or RAM, which should be more than enough for LR.
This should be faster than my previous set-up, but since I started using this configuration I'm seeing the "Loading..." icon in the develop module after every change I make (adding a vignette, changing the exposure, etc.). This is very strange. Could it have something to do with the cache rebuilding, since I moved it?
While editing a TIFF file in the Develop module, the image keeps reloading (image flashes off and on), and the adjustment sliders revert to neutral settings. Makes any editing very diffficult! Windows 7 64-bit 8 GB Ram.
