I downloaded the trial version of CS4 and if I don't encounter serious problems, I'll undoubtedly purchase it. Do I get a printed user guide if purchasing the boxed version, as I did with CS2? I can't seem to find this specific information on the Adobe site, or elsewhere for that matter.

We are using ACA 2011. When I look to place a default Steel Column from the Design tab of the Design tool palette, I see no optoins re: the make-up of the column, only the length - the column only shows as a generic extruded box. Are there I-Beam, C-Beam profiles loaded anywhere in the content that I can access.

The installed version is connected to the subscription and tells me that it will expire in a few days.
Can I unlock this with the serial no. I got from the box?
Is there a way to make the box, and thus the ext within the box block out anything behind it on the drawing. Making the boxed text opaque?
This would be real handy in a complicated drawing if the lines, etc. behind a text box on a multileader did not show through the text box.
I installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

I downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to ver 2012 from ver 2000. I have numerous macros that were written for the older version that I need to utilize in ver 2012. I manually recreated them in the new version by typing in the commands from ver 2000. As I expected I am getting errors when I try to run these macros in Ver 2012. The mlayer command, for example, does not work. I am pretty sure I need to use the -layer command and have tried this but I still get errors. While I am relatively proficient in ver 2000 I am having some trouble finding commands in ver 2012 that match the old version. Below is an example of a macro from ver 2000 as well as my attempt to rewrite it in ver 2012.

I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Forother image types, usually the 32-bit version is launched. The plugins (e.g., from onOne) seem to install only for the 32-bitversion and unavailable for the 64-bit version. Which version should be used? I can force one or the otherlaunched (for example, always click on a 64-bit shortcut to run). However when i start Version Cue CS3 and check for updates i get the message "No Internet connection. Please check your Internet settings and /or firewall. Waiting for connection...". I have turned off my firewall and the antivirus program and I still cannot get it to work.

I also cannot start Photoshop CS3. When I open the application a blank window titled "Adobe Design Suit Standard CS3" appears as well as Photoshop toolbars which I cannot select. All the options on the toolbar is greyed out and I cannot select any of them. I have to force quit the application.

I have an Epson pro stylus printer that prints from other software like MS Word and I Photo, but for some reason when I print from Photoshop it goes to the print cue and dsiapears a few seconds later. Why do you have to install both 32 & 64 bit versions of programs? In InDesign & Illustrator, you can uninstall the 32 bit versions using the Windows uninstaller but it won't let you do this in Photoshop; would be good if you were given the choice when installing to save your download quota and drive space.
